The wedding ceremony was held at the Leela Palace. If sources are to be believed, bride Parineeti Chopra wore a wedding outfit designed by ace designer Manish Malhotra. In a video captured by ANI, bidai song 'Kabira' from 'Yeh JawaHai Deewani' can be heard playing at the wedding venue while marriage rituals are being performed. Earlier in the afternoon, the baraatis arrived on a boat adorned with decorations that showcased glimpses of Mewar tradition. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann were spotted making their way to the wedding ceremony. Tennis star Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, <keyword id="6354944" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="aam-aadmi-party" source="Orion">Aam Aadmi Party</keyword> MP Sanjay Singh, Shiva Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, and Manish Malhotra also marked their presence at the starry wedding. Parineeti's cousin and global star <keyword id="1655" type="General" weightage="30" keywordseo="priyanka-chopra" source="Orion">Priyanka Chopra</keyword> gave Parineeti and Raghav's wedding a miss. However, Priyanka's mom Madhu Chopra attended the wedding. She recently gave a hint that she might not be able to attend Parineeti's wedding to Raghav. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, she posted a happy picture of Parineeti. Prior to D-day, Parineeti and Raghav held a sangeet in Udaipur with a 90s theme. Punjabi singer Navraj Hans performed at the function. Reportedly, guests received cassettes with customized messages for them. The couple showcased their distinctive personal style on the auspicious occasion. Raghav opted for a black indo-western ethnic outfit, while Parineeti sported a shimmering embroidered outfit with a beaded cape layered over it. Before arriving in Udaipur for the main wedding festivities, Parineeti and Raghav hosted a sufi night for close friends and family members in Delhi. The couple got engaged on May 13 in Delhi. The star-studded ceremony was attended by several politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray. Parineeti and Raghav reportedly knew each other for several years before they began dating. The love story of Raghav-Parineeti might have blossomed in London as reportedly the duo studied together in a college there. Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti will share screen space with Diljit Dosanjh in Chamkila. Helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the film revolves around two famous Punjabi singers Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila. 'Code Name: Tiranga' makers cap first day ticket prices at Rs 100 across India

The expectations of the avid movie-goers in India were running high this weekend as Kill Dil took centre stage. The movie stars <keyword id="106133" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ranveer-Singh">Ranveer Singh</keyword>, <keyword id="562349" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Parineeti-Chopra">Parineeti Chopra</keyword>, Ali Zafar and <keyword id="6381730" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="govinda">Govinda</keyword> in the lead role and it is directed by <keyword id="94855" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shaad-ali">Shaad Ali</keyword> under the Yash Raj Films banner. 
 
From the promos, Kill Dil appeared to be a hatke movie that would go well with the young Indian audience. However, the movie could not get a spectacular opening at the Indian box office despite Govinda and Ranveer Singh’s commendable performance. On the opening Friday, Kill Dil did a business of Rs 6.53 crore and netted another Rs 6.39 crore on Saturday. The business improved slightly on Sunday as Kill Dil managed to pocket Rs 7.26 crore. On Monday, it collected Rs. 4.1 crore. 
 
Given that it was a solo release this weekend, it will continue to get similar collection figures all through the week, but at this stage, it looks unlikely that the movie will cross the Rs 100-crore mark. As per <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kill_Dil">Wikipedia</a>, Kill Dil has been made in a budget of Rs 35 crore. 
 
On the other hand, Happy New Year has managed to survive 25 days at the box office. Its collection on the 25th day was approximately Rs 44 lakh. Overall, the movie has now hit the Rs 200-crore mark and its total collections till date stand at Rs 205 crore. 
 
On November 21, 2014, it will be the turn of Happy Ending to try its luck at the box office.

Kill Dil Gets Average Response

On Friday November 7, 2014 it was the turn of Rang Rasiya and Shaukeens. The movie Rang Rasiya has been awaiting a release for the last six years and has Randeep Hooda in the lead role. 
 
The movie managed a mere 5% opening on Friday and its first weekend collections totalled 2.35 crore. 
 
Notably, Shaukeens is a remake of the old movie with the same name and stars Akshay Kumar, Anupan Kher, Anu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra and Lisa Haydon. The movie got a 25% opening and managed to collect Rs 18.52 crore in the first weekend. On the first Monday, post release, it managed to add another Rs 2.83 crore to its tally. 
 
However, the big release this week was the Hollywood movie Interstellar. Though it is not a franchise movie but it garnered a good buzz especially in the metros. The movie garnered earnings to the tunes of Rs 2 crores on the first Friday of its India release. The business grew further on Saturday to touch Rs 3 crore, and interestingly, even on Sunday the movie manage to pocket another Rs 4.10 crore. 
 
Interstellar has managed to get good collections worldwide. Early <a href="file:///C:\Users\surbhi.chawla\Documents\CyberLink">numbers</a> for this movie directed by Christopher Nolan's are reporting <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> at $52.2 million. That's slightly short of expectations which had the film outpacing the opening weekend for last year's sci-fi space epic, Gravity. That film made $55.8 million upon debut. 
 
Now, all eyes are on November 14, 2014 when Kill Dil releases. The movie stars Parineeti Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Govinda in the lead role.

Filmmaker Sooraj <keyword id="40286" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="barjatya" source="Orion">Barjatya</keyword> says he is set to venture into digital space soon with at least three web series under development at his family banner Rajshri Productions. These projects will focus on family-friendly entertainment, a genre championed by the production house through films such as "Nadiya Ke Paar" (1982), "Saaransh" (1984), Salman Khan-starrers "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" (1994) and "Hum Saath Saath Hain" (1999). Barjatya said he was inundated with many offers from leading streamers during the coronavirus pandemic to explore the digital medium. "We have been offered to make Rajshri kind of stories by all platforms. After the pandemic, families have come together. I am surprised and happy. We are in the process of starting three-four series soon." "It is in our space (family entertainers). Some are in the scripting stage, others are in the ideation stage. We will look at all of this post the release of 'Unnchai'," the 58-year-old director told PTI in an interview here. Back in 2017, Barjatya had said the production house was toying with the idea of making content for the web. "After 'Unnchai', I will get busy with my younger son Avnish's movie, starring Rajveer and Paloma. As a producer, it is a big responsibility. After that, I will start my film with Salman Bhai.
