Accordingly, the sticks that's rallied over 10 per cent on BSE included NTC Industries (16.9%), Paramone Concepts (12.90%), Novateor Research (10.66%), Stove Craft (10.61%), Cosco India (10.57%). The 30 share Sensex traded 475 points down at 59,602 points around noon while 50 shares Nifty fell 117 points at 17,737 points. In Nifty 50, about 21 stocks traded in green while 29 traded in red. Sensex down over 500 points; Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Coal India gain up to 5%

<keyword id="605544" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Mahmud-Jibril">Mahmud Jibril</keyword>, the former head of the Libyan rebel government that overthrew dictator Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, died on Sunday of the <keyword id="1754604" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="coronavirus">coronavirus</keyword>, his party said. Jibril, 68, died in Cairo where he had been hospitalised for two weeks, said Khaled al-Mrimi, secretary of the <keyword id="9011114" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="alliance-of-national-forces">Alliance of National Forces</keyword> party founded by Jibril in 2012. He had been admitted to the Ganzouri Specialised Hospital in Cairo on March 21 after suffering from cardiac arrest and three days later tested positive for coronavirus, hospital director Hisham Wagdy said. "He started... recovering the day before yesterday but then he began deteriorating again", Wagdy told AFP in Cairo, confirming that Jibril died at 2:00 pm. Jibril headed the rebel <keyword id="641894" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Transitional-Council">National Transitional Council</keyword> (NTC), the interim government during the NATO-backed rebellion that toppled and killed Gaddafi. He had been an economic advisor to the Gaddafi regime in its final years, before joining the revolution in 2011 and briefly serving as premier.Jibril resigned three days after Gaddafi was captured and killed when NTC fighters overran his hometown Sirte on October 20, 2011. In the early days of the Libyan uprising, Jibril made several trips abroad to rally European and US support for the rebels against Gaddafi. In 2012, after the veteran leader was ousted and killed, Jibril stood in the country's first ever democratic elections and his party won the vote but failed to clinch a majority in parliament which chose an independent candidate to become prime minister. Amid the chaos and violence that erupted in the following years, Jibril left Libya to live abroad. Libya, now divided between a UN-recognised government based in Tripoli and a rival administration in the country's east, announced its first death from coronavirus earlier this week. Health authorities said an 85-year-old woman was confirmed to have had COVID-19 on examination after her death, without giving further details.The UN-recognised Government of National Accord which controls the west of the country has officially recorded 10 cases. No cases have been declared in the south and east, which are largely under the control of the rival administration supported by military strongman <keyword id="2245033" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Khalifa-Haftar">Khalifa Haftar</keyword> who has been battling to seize Tripoli. Wagdy, the hospital director in Cairo, said that Jibril was in and out of consciousness during his time in the hospital's intensive care unit, where he had been quarantined since his admission. Mrimi said that Jibril had appeared in stable conditions in recent days "and was even getting ready to leave the hospital" before his condition deteriorated again. Libya's former PM Mahmud Jibril dies of coronavirus in Egypt

<div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image"></div></div></div><ul class="summary-list"><li>General Motors on Wednesday <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/gm-lawsuit-against-fca-analysis-uaw-what-does-it-mean-2019-11">filed a damning lawsuit against its rival Fiat-Chrysler</a> accusing the automaker of bribing union officials for a better labor contract to help it get a leg up on competition.&#xa0;</li><li>The same day, <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/category/uaw">United Auto Workers</a> president Greg Jones resigned as union leadership voted to expel him.&#xa0;</li><li>Wall Street analysts estimate that damages, which weren't specified by GM, could total up to $15 billion.&#xa0;</li><li><a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/prime?module=article&amp;area=summary">Click here for more BI Prime stories.&#xa0;</a></li></ul>The <a href="https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/uaw-president-takes-leave-of-absence-as-corruption-probe-continues-2019-11-1028653072">alleged corruption that eventually led to the resignation of a high-ranking union official</a> was on full display in a lawsuit filed by General Motors against its rival Fiat-Chrysler on Thursday.In a bombshell 95-page complaint, GM accused executives of its crosstown Italian rival of bribing United Auto Workers officials in order to undercut competition and violating federal labor law in the process."As part of this bribery scheme, and to lock in the competitive efficacy of the purchased benefits, concessions, and advantages for FCA, GM was denied similar union commitments and support," the racketeering suit, filed in Detroit federal court, says.Since 2009, GM alleges that FCA, in cahoots with its now-deceased former chief executive Sergio Marchionne and UAW executives spent millions on bribes that included a Venetian wedding, luxury watches, resort outings, and more, all of which went underreported (if reported at all). In some cases, GM alleges, fake businesses, charities, and even a fake hospice were used as fronts to move the money."For example," GM writes, "in February 2010, Marchionne, acting in the interest and as an agent of FCA Group, gave [former UAW official General] Holiefield a custom-made Terra Cielo Mare watch worth several thousand dollars in direct violation of the Taft-Hartley Act."From there, things got even more complex."As the bribery scheme grew in complexity and depth," the complaint says, union executives "Holiefield and Morgan, with FCA Group's knowledge, used false front businesses, including Monica Morgan Photography, Wilson's Diversified Products, and even a fictitious hospice organization, in an attempt to launder funds from the NTC and LTLOF."(NTC in the above quote refers to a joint training center financed by FCA and the UAW. LTLOF is the "Leave the Light on Foundation," a nonprofit controlled by UAW official Holiefield.)Marchionne personally approved FCA's financing of the now-deceased Holiefield's wedding in Venice in 2015, GM alleges in the suit. That same year, the automaker claims, the union used FCA funds for lavish golf-and-steak outings in Palm Springs and a villa rental nearby.From the suit:<ul><li>$7,569.55 on January 9, 2015 at LG's Prime Steakhouse,</li><li>$1,267.79 at Indian Canyons Golf Resort,</li><li>$4,587.04 on January 18, 2015 at LG's Prime Steakhouse,</li><li>$3,372.74 on January 23, 2015 at Spencer's Restaurant,</li><li>$6,200.05 on January 24, 2015 at Palm Springs Steak &amp; Chop Restaurant, and</li><li>$4,147.74 on January 28, 2015 at Melvyn's Restaurant.</li></ul>All of these alleged bribes helped FCA net a better deal with the union in 2015, saving the once-bankrupt automaker plenty of cash. As part of that agreement, the union lifted a cap on "tier two" workers, allowing FCA to hire more of the cheaper, less-skilled workers, and gain a leg up on the competition, the lawsuit claims.Because of those alleged disadvantages, GM is demanding a jury trial and relief for "substantial damages," though the company did not specify an amount beyond "billions."That pluralized word could be key.Fresh off the heels of a 40-day strike that ate into third-quarter earnings and is expected to take an even bigger chunk out of this quarter's financials, GM will likely be looking to recoup as much as possible."There is reason to believe this amount is at least $6 billion and - under one scenario we would regard as extreme high-end - could potentially be $15 billion," Ryan Brinkman, an analyst at JPMorgan, told clients in a note Thursday.Based on the math of a $4 per hour disadvantage for every worker, JPMorgan estimates that GM was spending about $416 million per year more than FCA. Payback for those could be huge for the company and shareholders, even if the spat ends in a settlement instead of a jury trial."We believe investors may not have fully considered its potentially materially positive ramifications [of the suit]," JPMorgan said.In response to the lawsuit, Fiat Chrysler said it was "astonished.""We can only assume this was intended to disrupt our proposed merger with PSA as well as our ongoing negotiations with the UAW," <a href="https://www.fcagroup.com/en-US/media_center/fca_press_release/FiatDocuments/2019/november/FCA_General_Motors_Lawsuit_Without_Merit.pdf">the automaker said</a>. This is according to Wells Fargo data cited by V-2 Cigarettes, a major online electronic cigarette retailer.
Sales in brick and mortar stores are now at $700 million annualized, while online transactions are expected to tick at least $500 million. 
“When combined with online sales, the industry has now exceeded $1 billion for the first-time ever, with the consumption of e-cigs likely surpassing that of traditional cigarettes in the next decade,” Wells Fargo's Bonnie Herzog said.

E-cig retail sales through online channels will total an estimated $500 to $625 million in 2013. As America’s largest volume online retailer of electronic cigarettes and the third-largest overall electronic cigarette company in the world, whether on or offline, V2 will own at least 20 percent of the total online market with year-over-year sales doubling in 2013 to well north of nine figures.

But that deal only affected about 350,000 employees directly employed by the Department of Defense.This new Windows 10 arrangement accounts for all employees who work at sub-agencies of the Department - which means that it gets the additional benefit of having all its employees everywhere on the same version of Windows. This likely makes life much easier for the DoD's IT department, which has had to manage a mishmash of operating systems across agencies.As an added bonus for Microsoft, the Department of Defense has certified Microsoft's Surface line of tablets as having met the necessary security requirements, meaning that agencies are free to buy them for their employees. Plus, Microsoft's very cool "<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/microsoft-surface-pro-4-windows-10-hello-2015-11">Windows Hello</a>" facial recognition sign-on tech is similarly certified as usable for Department employees.For Microsoft, this is a big deal in all senses of the phrase. Not only will it draw in a lot of cash for Microsoft's Windows business, which has been struggling to gain traction amid a shrinking overall PC industry, but it's a big marketing victory, too.
