New Delhi [India], September 6 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday advised all the ministers to download the <keyword id="42981" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="G20" source="Orion">G20</keyword> India mobile app ahead of the <keyword id="42982" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="G20-Summit" source="Orion">G20 summit</keyword> to be held in New Delhi this week. The advice came during <keyword id="2238662" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="PM-Modi" source="Orion">PM Modi</keyword>'s interaction with the <keyword id="245371" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Council-of-Ministers" source="Orion">Council of Ministers</keyword> meeting ahead of the significant G20 summit in New Delhi. The Prime Minister said that the app would help the ministers to interact with foreign delegates seamlessly. The Ministry of External Affairs in India has launched the mobile application titled 'G20 India', marking a significant digital milestone ahead of the G20 Leaders' Summit to be held in New Delhi. The app offers users a comprehensive, interactive guide to event-related information. Features of the platform include a calendar for the G20 India 2023 event, resources, media, and insightful details about the G20. The unveiling of the 'G20 India' mobile app amplifies India's ongoing technological advancements and underscores the nation's commitment to leveraging digital tools to facilitate major international events. The government of India has launched a <keyword id="18675735" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="G20-India-App" source="Orion">G20 India app</keyword> ahead of the G20 summit being held under India's presidency on September 9-10 this year. The app will function till India's G20 presidency. According to officials of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, more than 15000 mobile apps were downloaded globally till Tuesday. The G20 India mobile app will help the delegates to interact with foreign delegates in all G20 countries languages. Government officials further emphasize that the mobile is also a navigation facility that helps the foreign delegates move from place to place in the country and to the Bharat Mandapam. With the G20 India app, the Indian ministers can overcome language as well as communication barriers with the foreign delegates. The G20 India mobile app has services built in which people can access in 24 languages. India is all set to host the G20 Summit in New Delhi from September 9-10. World leaders will arrive in New Delhi to attend the G20 Summit. The summit will be hosted at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Notably, India assumed the G20 presidency on December 1 last year and about 200 meetings related to G20 were organized in 60 cities across the country.

"Have just got the good news that due to the hard work of our teams and your cooperation, a consensus has been reached on New Delhi G20 Leaders Summit Declaration," Modi told the leaders while addressing the second session of the Summit at the Bharat Mandapam here. "It is my proposal that this G20 Declaration be adopted," the prime minister said. After the approval of the members, Modi said, "I announce the adoption of this Declaration". "On this occasion I would like to thank our ministers, sherpas and all officials who made this possible with their hard work," he said. With consensus eluding on the paragraph relating to the Ukraine conflict, India had on Friday circulated a draft Summit Declaration among the member countries without the paragraph on the geopolitical issue in an attempt to hammer out a positive outcome, according to diplomatic sources. "The New Delhi Leaders Declaration has been officially adopted at the G20 India Leaders' Summit! Today's era must be marked as the golden age of human-centric globalisation and India's G20 Presidency under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi has worked tirelessly towards this goal," India's G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant said on X. "Historical and Path breaking G20 Declaration with 100% consensus on all developmental and geo-political issues. New Delhi [India], September 9 (ANI): Noting that India's <keyword id="4709730" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="g20-presidency" source="Orion">G20 Presidency</keyword> has become a symbol of inclusion both inside and outside the country, Prime Minister <keyword id="6354477" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="narendra-modi" source="Orion">Narendra Modi</keyword> said on Saturday that it has become "People's G20" in India and crores of citizens are connected with it. In his opening statement at <keyword id="42982" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="g20-summit" source="Orion">G20 Summit</keyword> being hosted under India's presidency, PM Modi spoke of global challenges and said 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' can be the torch bearer to address these. The plaque in front of PM Modi at the G20 Summit said "Bharat". "India's G20 presidency has become a symbol of inclusion, of 'sabka saath' both inside and outside the country. This has become People's G20 in India. Crores of Indians are connected to this. In more than 60 cities of the country, more than 200 meetings have taken place. With the sense of 'Sabka Saath', India had proposed that the <keyword id="148491" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="african-union" source="Orion">African Union</keyword> be granted permanent membership of G20. I believe that all of us agree to this proposal," he said. PM Modi also invited the head of the African Union to take his seat as a member of the G20. The first session of the summit under the theme 'One Earth' started at Bharat Mandapam, the venue of the conference. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar accompanied the President of the Union of Comoros and Chairperson of the African Union (AU), Azali Assoumas he took his seat among world leaders. "With everyone's approval, I request the African Union Chairperson to take his seat as a permanent G20 member," PM Modi said. African Union's inclusion in G20 was among India's key priorities in the G20 summit under its presidency. African Union's inclusion in G20 grouping was proposed by PM Modi in June this year. At the beginning of his speech, PM Modi expressed his condolences over the loss of lives due to an earthquake in Morocco. "Before we start the proceedings of G20, I want to express my condolences over the loss of lives due to an earthquake in Morocco. We pray that all injured recover at the earliest. India is ready to offer all possible assistance to Morocco in this difficult time." PM Modi noted that the world has faced a new challenge of trust deficit after the COVID-19. He referred to conflict between Ukraine and Russia and said the war had deepened the trust deficit further. "If we can defeat a pandemic like COVID, we can also win over the challenge of this trust deficit. Today, as the President of the G20, India calls upon the entire world to transform this global trust deficit into trust and confidence. This is the time for all of us to move together," he said. "In this time, the mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' can be the torch bearer for us. Be it the divide between North and South, the distance between East and West, management of food and fuel, terrorism, cyber security, health, energy or water security, we will have to move towards a solid solution to this for future generations." PM Modi had on Friday expressed confidence that the New Delhi G20 Summit will chart a new path in the human-centric and inclusive development "India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit on 09-10 September 2023 at New Delhi's iconic Bharat Mandapam. This is the first ever G20 Summit being hosted by India. I look forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days. With the same spirit, India is proposing the launch of the 'G20 Satellite Mission for Environment and Climate Observation', he said. "The climate and weather data obtained from this will be shared with all the countries, especially the countries of the Global South. India invites all G-20 countries to join this initiative," Modi said during a session at the G20 Leaders Summit.
