IPO watch: List of upcoming public issues in 2021 – from Zomato to GoAir, over a dozen companies have filed for a listing

<ul><li>Shares of <keyword id="10737432" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="India-Pesticides">India Pesticides</keyword> list at 27% premium from its price band of ₹290-296 per share.</li><li>The IPO of the agrochemical company had been subscribed 29 times on the last day of bidding.</li><li>The company is the sole Indian manufacturer of five agrochemical technicals.</li></ul>Shares of India Pesticides made a strong listing on National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE on a 27% premium from its price band of ₹290-296 per share. The shares of India Pesticides were trading at ₹358.05 at 10.04 a.m. The issue was open for subscription between June 23 and June 25. The grey market had indicated a premium of ₹50-55 from its price band on Friday, which means at least 18-20% upside for the stock over the issue price. The agrochemical company is looking to raise ₹800 crore through the initial public offering (IPO). The company is one of the sole Indian manufacturers of five agrochemical technicals. The IPO had received good response from investors considering that investors have bid for 56.07 crore shares against the 1.93 crore shares on offer. The portion for qualified institutional investors was subscribed 42.95 times while the non-institutional investor category received a bid for 51.88 times. The company has said it would utilise the net proceeds from the public issue to fund working capital requirements and general corporate purposes. India Pesticides currently has registrations and licences for 22 agrochemical technicals and 125 formulations for sale in India and 27 agrochemical technicals and 35 formulations for export purposes. India Pesticides IPO: Shares list at 27% premium on exchanges

<ul><li>Chemspec Chemicals is looking to raise ₹700 crore through a complete offer for sale by promoters.</li><li>Chemspec Chemicals is one of the leading manufacturers globally of critical additives for FMCG ingredients used in skin and hair care products, and intermediates for active pharmaceutical ingredient (APIs) used in antihypertensive drugs.</li><li>The company exports products to 42 countries in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific region, the Middle East and Africa. </li></ul> The year 2021 continues to witness a barrage of initial public offerings (IPO). Here is another, which is gearing up for a listing soon. The chemical manufacturing company filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) on July 14. A DRHP is filed when a company is planning to raise money from and it provides details about its business operations and financials. The company is looking to raise ₹700 crore through a complete offer for sale (OFS) by existing promoters Bhaichand Amoluk Consultancy Services (₹233 crore), Mitul Vora (₹233 crore) and Rushabh Vora (₹233 crore). Chemspec Chemicals is one of the leading manufacturers, globally, of critical additives for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) ingredients used in skin and hair care products, and intermediates for active pharmaceutical ingredient (APIs) used in antihypertensive drugs. As part of its FMCG product portfolio, it manufactures active ingredients used in sunscreen lotions and creams, antibacterial soaps, anti-dandruff shampoos, and preservatives. The Company is also the largest manufacturer of ‘piroctone olamine’ in India, and the largest producer of ‘chemilide’ (an antibacterial ingredient) in the world with an approximate market share of 70% market share. Its clientele include Beiersdorf AG, Unilever Supply Chain Company AG, L’Oreal, DSM Nutritional Products, Godrej Consumers Products, Glenmark Life Sciences, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, CTX Lifesciences etc. Over the years, the company has evolved from a local supplier to FMCG companies in India to a supplier to multinational FMCG companies in 43 countries across five continents. Revenue from such companies constituted 86.67%, 88.88% and 89.76% of total revenue from operations in FY21, FY20 and FY19 respectively. Happiest Minds IPO: The 8th most successful IPO in the decade The Soota-backed Happiest Minds IPO received a stellar response from investors and was oversubscribed nearly 151 times on the last day of bidding, making it the 8th most successful IPO in the decade. The Happiest Minds IPO received bids for 3.51 billion shares against the offer size of the 23.3 million. It was also the most subscribed IPO this year, followed by Route Mobile, which was subscribed 73 times. It was already on the cards! Well, Soota isn’t a newbie in the tech industry. The 77-year-old promoter brings with him more than 30 years of experience on the table. Before starting Happiest Minds 13 years ago, Soota was the founding Chairman and Managing Director of MindTree. Mindtree had completed its IPO in 2007 during his tenure and was subscribed 103 times by the investors. Soota also worked at Wipro for 14 years, rising to the post of the vice-chairman before he left Wipro to join Shriram Refrigeration Industries as senior vice president. The premium fell from 7% on day one to 2% today — all thanks to the recent correction, when the benchmark index Sensex plunged nearly 3,000 points in mere 5 days. The ₹4,634 crore share sale concluded with the subscription of little over 3 times the offer value on January 20. Even brokerages which gave it a “subscribe” rating advised investors to see it with a long-term investment horizon. The analysts believe that the IPO was attractively priced and the company has a strong business outlook, which can mint great money for the investors in the long term. “Looking at the strong business profile of the company, but with limited growth aspects, we give Subscribe rating for long term. That said, we are not expecting any major negative movement for the stock after listing,” said Astha Jain at Hem Securities.
