Tata Motors total sales down 1.73% at 74,172 units in Nov

New Delhi, <keyword id="6357096" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mahindra-mahindra" source="Orion">Mahindra &amp; Mahindra</keyword> on Friday said its total wholesales increased by 21 per cent year on year to 70,576 units in November. The Mumbai-based automaker had dispatched 58,303 units in November 2022. Utility vehicle dispatches stood at 39,981 units last month, an increase of 32 per cent over 30,238 units in the year-ago period, <keyword id="45224" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mahindra" source="Orion">Mahindra</keyword> &amp; Mahindra (M&amp;M) said in a statement. <br /><br /> Exports, however, declined 42 per cent last month to 1,816 units as compared to 3,122 units in November 2022. <br /><br /> "We continue our growth trend, backed by strong demand for our SUV portfolio...While we saw a healthy festive season, we faced supply challenges on select parts during the month. Mahindra sales rise 21% to 70,576 units in November

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Lamborghini is all sold out of gas-powered supercars, its CEO told the German outlet Welt. </li><li>The Italian brand is electrifying its entire lineup, starting with plug-in hybrids. </li></ul><p>The vision boards of finance bros around the world are in for an update. </p><p>Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann <a href="https://www.welt.de/wirtschaft/plus246213040/Lamborghinis-Verbrenner-sind-ausverkauft-fuer-immer.html?icid=search.product.onsitesearch">told the German newspaper Welt</a> on Wednesday that the brand has sold out its remaining production run of fully gas-powered models, per Reuters. </p><p>From here on out, all new Lambos sold will be electrified in some manner. First up will be plug-in hybrid replacements for the Aventador and <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-huracan-tecnica-supercar-review-2022-12">Huracan supercars</a> and a plug-in hybrid <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-urus-review-how-much-price-specs-lambo-suv-audi-2021-3">Urus SUV</a>. The auto industry as a whole is in the midst of an expensive, messy transition to electric vehicles. </p><p>But just because Lamborghini is rethinking the way its cars are fueled, that doesn't mean it's going soft or losing touch with its roots. Winkelmann told Insider he is intent on giving Lamborghini buyers the adrenaline-pumping performance they expect — and more — while cutting the company's carbon footprint. </p><p>The company's first <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/toyota-rav4-hybrid-prime-plug-in-review-xse-2022-7">plug-in hybrid</a> (a type of vehicle with more electric-only range and a bigger battery than a traditional hybrid) is set to hit driveways and climate-controlled 12-car garages in late 2023. Thanks to a V12, three electric motors, and a small battery, the Revuelto supercar can produce just over 1,000 horsepower and hit 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, Lamborghini estimates. </p>

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Lamborghini has unveiled its new Temerario hybrid supercar, a successor to the best-selling Huracan.</li><li>Its 907 horsepower hybrid power unit features a biturbo V8 paired with three electric motors.</li></ul><p><a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghinis-2016-2">Lamborghini's</a> electric revolution is speeding ahead with the introduction of the 907-horsepower Temerario — a supercar that marks the brand's complete hybridization.</p><p>The brand unveiled the new Temerario <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-last-fully-gas-powered-supercar-electric-plug-in-hybrid-2023-7">hybrid</a> supercar on Friday before a crowd in Monterey, California, as part of its annual Car Week festivities.</p><p>"Temerario means 'courageous' in Spanish and is the name of a fighting bull that fought in 1875," Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Business Insider in a recent interview.</p><p>Well, the Temerario better be courageous as it has the unenviable task of being the successor to the <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-huracan-tecnica-supercar-review-2022-12">Huracan</a>, Lamborghini's best-selling supercar to date, with more than 20,000 sold during its decadelong production run that ended this year.</p><p>"It will be a key player in a market that is growing bigger but is also very crowded," Winkelmann said. The Lamborghini's aluminum body panels feature only minimum lines and creases, a look Winkelmann called "pure."</p><p>The design not only looks cool but also helps the new Lambo go fast. The Temerario's aerodynamics deliver 103% better rear downforce than the outgoing <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-huracan-evo-spyder-review-photos-features-verdict-2020-5">Huracan EVO</a>; that figure improves to 158% if you opt for the track-focused Alleggerita Pack.</p><p>Inside, the Temerario's cabin is both roomier and more high-tech than the Huracan.</p><p>Engineers gave taller drivers an extra inch of headroom and an additional two inches of legroom, which are handy when wearing a helmet for track driving.</p><div type="image" title="The of a blue Lamborghini Temerario supercar parked in front of sand dunes." height="3149" width="5598" msid="112663204" hostid="261" sizebytes="2707110"></div><p>The cabin will feature three main displays: a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in front of the driver, an 8.4-inch central screen, and a 9.1-inch passenger screen. The Temerario will come equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.</p><p>The biggest change for the Temerario is the decision to replace the naturally aspirated V10 engine that has defined Lamborghini's "entry-level" supercars for the past two decades with a hybridized V8.</p><p>According to Winkelmann, going hybrid with the Temerario and the company's <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/new-lamborghini-revuelto-electrified-hybrid-supercar-aventador-photos-cost-2023-4">flagship Revuelto</a>, which launched last year, allows Lamborghini to keep big internal combustion engines in its supercars for the next decade until 2035 when EU regulations ending ICE car sales kick in.</p><div type="image" title="The cabin of a Lamborghini Temerario supercar with brown leather seats and interior accents." height="4320" width="7680" msid="112663205" hostid="261" sizebytes="1168614"></div><p>The Italian supercar maker is evaluating a host of potential solutions to keep ICE engines in its cars after 2035, including using carbon-neutral fuels, the Lamborghini CEO told Business Insider.</p><p>Mounted behind the Temerario's driver's compartment is a new 4.0-liter, bi-turbo V8 engine that produces more than 800 horsepower. It's paired with three electric motors and a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack to produce 907 system horsepower.</p><p>Two of the electric motors are mounted to the front axle. The third electric motor is mounted directly onto the engine to provide additional torque and works with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission to drive the rear wheels.</p><div type="image" title="The cabin of a Lamborghini Temerario hybrid supercar with brown leather upholstery and accents along with three screens." height="4320" width="7550" msid="112663206" hostid="261" sizebytes="934698"></div><p>Together, the system gives the Temeario a virtual all-wheel-drive system.</p><p>According to Lamborghini, the Temerario can do 0-62 mph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of over 213 mph.</p><p>A key feature of the Temerario's V8 engine is its astronomical 10,000 RPM redline that will surely be music to the ears of supercar aficionados worldwide.</p><p>In fact, Lamborghini's sound engineers have tuned the Temerario's engine mounts, chassis, and body panels to amplify and transmit the V8's rumble directly to its occupants.</p><div type="image" title="The rear end of a blue Lamborghini Temerario supercar." height="3286" width="6108" msid="112663207" hostid="261" sizebytes="307820"></div><p>The driver will be able to enjoy the Temerario's high-revving V8 in several driving modes, ranging from an easygoing City Mode to a full-on track mode.</p><p>For the first time, Lamborghini is offering a Drift Mode that helps drivers generate controlled oversteer into corners. This mode is for those who want to go into corners sideways but don't quite have the driving skill to do so without risking damaging their new Italian supercar.</p><p>Pricing has not yet been announced for the Lamborghini Temerario, which is expected to go on sale next year. The outgoing Huracan's base variant started at $250,000, while higher-end STO models started at $350,000.</p>

Lamborghini's new hybrid supercar has 900 horsepower — and marks the brand's complete move to hybrid

Ahmedabad, Feb 13 () Contrary to a belief that super-rich would not think much when it comes to buying their favourite car, the Indian arm of super sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has said around 60 to 65 per cent of their cars are sold on car finance in the country.<p> While most of the buyers of these super-cars are industrialists and businessmen, the company has rarely sold a car to a corporate professional, such as a CEO, in India, said Lamborghini India head Sharad Agarwal.</p><p> "Our buyers are wealth creators, not wealth inheritors. They understand the value of money. Though they have money they would calculate everything before shelling out Rs 5 crore on a car.</p><p> He would think about investing that much money into his own business and buy the car on loan," Sharad Agarwal told reporters here.</p><p> "Let me tell you that we do sell cars on EMI. More than 60 to 65 per cent our our cars are sold on finance. Majority of our buyers are industrialists or businessmen. Unlike in the US, very rarely we witness a corporate professional, like a CEO, buying a Lamborghini in India," he said.</p><p> He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the launch of 'Huracan EVO RWD', a super sports car.</p><p> Price of the car starts from Rs 3.22 crore, ex-showroom, pan-India.</p><p> Agarwal said the super luxury segment (cars priced above Rs 2.5 crore) too experienced a slowdown last calendar year of 2019, when just 265 such cars of different brands were sold in India.</p><p> In 2018, the number was 315.</p><p> While Lamborghini India sold 45 units in 2018, the number was 52 in 2019 calendar year.</p><p> "While the market sentiments were negative last year, our growth was around 15 per cent last year. We are looking to maintain the growth momentum in this year too" said Agarwal, adding that people from non-metro cities are also queuing up to buy Lamborghini cars these days.</p><p> "Around three years back, 99 per cent our sales was coming from metro cities, like Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.</p> Now metro cities contribute 75 per cent while 25 per cent sales is coming from tier-1 and tier-2 cities, such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Nashik, Jaipur, Indore and Kanpur. Over 60 pc Lamborghini cars sold on EMIs in India

New Delhi, Italian automaker Automobili <keyword id="75789" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="lamborghini" source="Orion">Lamborghini</keyword> plans to deploy hybrid technology in its models in India by the end of 2024 as the Italian super sports car maker aims to halve the emissions from its cars in the coming years, according to a top company executive. The niche player also expressed confidence that the country's taxation policy remains consistent though any tax reductions will be welcome. <br /><br /> The company currently sells three models -- premium SUV Urus and two super sports cars Huracan Tecnica and Aventador in the country, with prices starting upwards of Rs 3 crore. <br /><br /> "The roadmap for us is that by the end of 2024 we are going to hybridise our entire model range. So this year we will have a first hybrid, the new V12, then in 2024 we will have the Urus hybrid and also a new V10 which is also going to be a hybrid," <keyword id="1713293" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="lamborghini-india" source="Orion">Lamborghini India</keyword> Head Sharad Agarwal told PTI. <br /><br /> In 2028, the company plans to bring in a fourth model globally which is going to be the fully electric model, he added. <br /><br /> "The idea is to reduce 50 per cent of the emissions from our cars by 2025," Agarwal said. <br /><br /> The company will bring in the upgraded models globally and then introduce them in the Indian market as well. <br /><br /> Lamborghini began its India operations in 2007. Last year, it sold 92 units in India, a growth of 33 per cent over 69 units in 2021. <br /><br /> When asked if the high rate of taxation on imported cars is affecting the growth of the luxury car segment in India, Agarwal said: "Today, the market is aligned to the current tax structure that we have..who would not like to have lesser duties..but that is not the priority from our end..." <br /><br /> Further, he said, "Last 5-6 years, we have seen that there is a constant tax regime from the government and we would always request in maintaining this consistency. Once the segment is aligned with the structure let the segment grow." <br /><br /> He stated that the government should maintain the consistency in the policy. <br /><br /> "We are not asking to reduce it (tax) but if it comes down who will say no to it," Agarwal said. <br /><br /> Lamborghini imports its entire model range to India. <br /><br /> Currently, imported as CBUs (Completely Built Units) with CIF of more than USD 40,000 or with engine capacity of more than 3,000 cc for petrol-run vehicles and more than 2,500 cc for diesel-run vehicles attract 100 per cent customs duty.

New Delhi, Feb 2 () Italian super sports car maker Lamborghini expects its premium luxury SUV Urus to drive future growth in India with the model accounting for 50 per cent of its sales in the country, a senior company official said.
<p> The company, which delivered its 50th Urus in India last year, has an eight-month waiting period on the model at present.
</p><p> "Urus is playing a big role and is contributing 50 per cent of our business. Order bank is still very healthy for the car," Lamborghini India Head Sharad Agarwal told .
</p><p> He further said, "Our future growth in India will also be largely driven by Urus while sportscar will remain at the core of our operations."
</p><p> The company sold a total of 52 units in India last year as compared to 45 units in 2018.
</p><p> Explaining why the Urus will become the mainstay for Lamborghini in India, Agarwal said, "We have not seen the sports car segment growing at a very fast pace. Urus is helping us bring new customers from premium luxury sedans and SUVs, customers who were not earlier in super luxury segment."
</p><p> The model has also brought in a whole new set of buyers who are first time buyers of the Lamborghini brand.
</p><p> "What we are seeing is the newer set of people, first-time buyers of Lamborghini are further growing from earlier 70 per cent to around 75-80 per cent. It (Urus) is actually helping us expand to reach new segment. Plus it is also helping us to expand the super luxury segment," he said.
</p><p> Reflecting on how well has Urus been received in India, Agarwal said, "The model is still on eight months waiting period. In 2019 we delivered the 50th Urus in India, in flat one year of sales of the car, which means we were delivering one Urus every week in its first year of sales in India. That's a big achievement in super luxury segment."
</p><p> He further said due to Urus the overall usage pattern of Lamborghini cars in India among its customers are changing.
</p><p> "Customers are really loving the car (Urus). On an average we have our cars which are doing around 2,500 km a year and with Urus we are on an average clocking around 8,000 km. So, people are really using the car and they are coming with different set of expectation from the car," Agarwal said.

Urus to drive future growth of Lamborghini in India

<ul class="summary-list"><li>The <keyword id="1024412" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Lamborghini-Urus">Lamborghini Urus</keyword> I reviewed recently had about $50,000 in additional options.</li><li>They included extra carbon fiber trim and red contrast interior stitching.</li><li>The final price of my loaner came to $272,193.</li></ul><p>Without a shadow of a doubt, the <keyword id="75789" type="COMPANY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Lamborghini">Lamborghini</keyword> Urus is a ridiculous machine. Colossal amounts of horsepower from something with the presence of a tank tend to give you that impression. And then there are the options.</p><p>The loaner for <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-urus-review-how-much-price-specs-lambo-suv-audi-2021-3">my Urus review</a> was painted in a truly loud shade of Rosso Mars paint. With a starting price of $218,009, the 2021 Urus comes with a good amount of hardware as standard. That includes a 650-horsepower, 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8; an eight-speed automatic transmission; permanent four-wheel drive; carbon-ceramic brakes; LED adaptive headlights; four-zone climate control; and heated exterior mirrors. </p><div type="image" title="Lamborghini Urus._OEM3" height="1618" width="2500" msid="81673257" hostid="261"></div>As standard features come, it's a lot - and you'd hope so, given the $200,000 starting price. On its drive mode selector, it has options for Sabbia (sand), Terra (land) and Neve (snow). I'd love to meet the driver who takes their Urus off-roading, as I am not sure they exist.<h3>Full electric comfort seat ($3,157)</h3><div type="image" title="2021 Lamborghini Urus._KL_51" height="3750" width="2500" msid="81673273" hostid="261"></div>What, you want me to <em>manually adjust</em> the seats in my Urus? Lamborghini <a href="https://www.lamborghini.com/en-en/news/lamborghini-protective-film-is-your-cars-second-skin">says</a> it "covers the most sensitive parts of the vehicle body like a second and invisible skin."<h3>Stitching option ($733) and optional stitching ($414)</h3><div type="image" title="2021 Lamborghini Urus._KL_24" height="3750" width="2500" msid="81673276" hostid="261"></div>I wasn't able to determine what this was on Lamborghini's online configurator, but I figure it has something to do with the contrast stitching found on the seats, steering wheel, and doors. Even the Dubai Police operates a fleet of high-priced exotics for promotional purposes. So it's only reasonable that <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-history-2016-8" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lamborghini</a> would establish its largest dealership in the United Arab Emirates. </p><p>Opened in April 2017, Lamborghini Dubai features 30,000 square feet of showroom and shop space inside a stylish three-story building designed by Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. The structure features a glass facade connected to the building with steel cables. </p><p>Lamborghini Dubai is owned and operated by Al Jaziri Motors.</p><p>Recently, Business Insider had the chance to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility. </p>

<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><ul><li><strong>Bitcoin (and other cryptocurrency) millionaires are buying&#xa0;Lamborghinis as the ultimate status symbol in their community.</strong></li><li><strong>People who made riches in bitcoin and ether have bought the Italian supercar for as little as $135, because they invested in crypto before its value spiked.</strong></li><li><strong>At the same time, Lamborghini reported record sales in 2017.</strong></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Silicon Valley may be flush with cash, but its monarchs often don't like to flaunt their wealth. The culture encourages tech's casual billionaires (or mere millionaires) to stay humble, spend on <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/sneakers-worn-by-tech-execs-2017-5">sneakers</a> and hoodies instead of parties, and focus on the work more than the spoils.</p><p>So far, cryptocurrency millionaires have been the exception.</p><p>People who made their riches in bitcoin and ether, the second largest cryptocurrency by market value,&#xa0;are buying <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-history-2016-8">Lamborghinis</a> as the ultimate status symbol in their community.</p><p>The sexy Italian sports car has become an internet meme: When a new coin promises to make buyers a lot of money, someone might ask, "When's Lambo?" on social media. They want to know how long it will be until the holder can afford the supercar, which starts at <a href="https://www.caranddriver.com/lamborghini">$200,000</a>.</p><p><span>Peter Saddington, a 35-year-old coder living in Atlanta, paid 45 bitcoins to ride off in a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan (price tag:&#xa0;$200,000) last fall, at the height of the crypto craze</span>. Those coins cost less than $3 a piece when Saddington bought the digital currency back in 2011.</p><p><span> "Buying the Lambo with bitcoin is proof it can be used for real transactions, buying really cool stuff," Saddington told Yahoo Finance in 2017. "It's not only used by criminals."</span></p><p>The car was used, and Saddington paid the seller directly in bitcoin. He paid the dealership a transaction fee of $7.95 and the sales tax in cash, according to <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/news/meet-people-getting-rich-bitcoin-181650451.html">Yahoo Finance</a> and <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-millionaires-are-buying-lamborghinis-with-cryptocurrency.html">CNBC</a>.</p><p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"></div><p></p></div></div><p>In 2015, realtor Piper Moretti, whose company <a href="http://www.thecryptorealtygroup.com/">The Crypto Realty Group</a> specializes in helping <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/bitcoin-homes-for-sale-2018-2">people buy homes with crypto</a>, saw one of her first crypto-clients buy a Lambo with bitcoin.</p><p>A family from the East Coast fell in love with a $3.2 million home on Manhattan Beach. Her client, who asked not to be named, wanted to pay in bitcoin. But the seller's agent was dead-set against it. Moretti said they had to find a way to show they weren't trying to scam the seller.</p><p>Around that time, the price of bitcoin spiked, and Moretti's client decided to spend some of the extra money on a Lambo from an Orange County dealership that accepts bitcoin as payment.</p><p>Moretti told her client to "send me everything you have on this," including all the receipts and documents from the transaction, which she then provided to the seller's agent.</p><p>"The Lambo actually helped us get the house," Moretti told Business Insider.</p><p>Cryptocurrency is "not just internet-nerd money," she added. "You can actually buy things."</p><h2>Lamborghini sales are on fire</h2><p>Still, buying a&#xa0;Lamborghini may be "the single acceptable way to spend money" in the cryptocurrency community, according to a recent article in the <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/13/style/bitcoin-millionaires.html">New York Times</a>.</p><p>Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin has blasted crypto investors in the past for flaunting their new wealth.</p><p>"If all that we accomplish is lambo memes and immature puns about 'sharting,' then I WILL leave," Buterin said in a <a href="https://twitter.com/vitalikbuterin/status/945988644661207040?lang=en">Twitter rant</a> in December.</p><p>An illustration of&#xa0;Buterin, dressed as a religious icon and holding a red Lamborghini Aventador between his outstretched palms, <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/comments/6tamgo/what_is_the_origin_of_the_vitalik_jesus_lambo/?st=jfcwzvod&amp;sh=87f61d13">went viral on Reddit</a> in 2017 and has been widely shared since.</p><p>We don't know <a href="https://www.barrons.com/articles/despite-soaring-bitcoin-value-its-unclear-how-many-millionaires-have-been-minted-as-a-result-1515702929">how many crypto millionaires</a> have been minted or how many bought the car. But a recent article in <a href="https://qz.com/1180009/as-the-ethereum-price-has-soared-so-have-lamborghini-sales/">Quartz</a> points out that as the price of ether rises, so do Lamborghini sales.</p><p>The luxury automobile maker delivered a record 3,815 vehicles to customers in 2017. It was the seventh consecutive year of sales growth, <a href="http://media.lamborghini.com/english/latest-news/all/automobili-lamborghini-achieves-another-record-year--3-815-cars-delivered-to-customers-in-2017/s/d75a27c5-122f-4cdc-9942-1508007b72a1">according to Lamborghini</a>.</p><p>A general manager at Lamborghini Newport Beach in Costa Mesa, California, told <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-millionaires-are-buying-lamborghinis-with-cryptocurrency.html">CNBC</a> that the dealership had "over 10 transactions" involving cryptocurrency in December, when bitcoin reached $19,000 per coin. Bitcoin millionaires are buying Lamborghinis as a status symbol of crypto wealth, and the carmaker says sales are rocketing

<p>The <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/geneva-motor-show-preview-photos-2014-2" target="_blank">Geneva Motor Show starts this week</a>, and the world is about to get its first in-person look at the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghini-unveils-new-huracan-supercar-specs-photos-2013-12" target="_blank">all-new Lamborghini supercar, the <span>Huracán</span></a>.</p>
<p>But first, Lamborghini is asking us to listen to the 5.2-liter V10 engine that will produce over 600 horsepower and send the <span>Huracán</span> from 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. It's glorious.</p>
<p>Pricing for the <span>Huracán</span> hasn't been announced yet, but <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/lamborghinis-new-supercar-selling-like-crazy-2014-2" target="_blank">Lamborghini has already sold more than 700</a>.</p>

<p><div class="KonaFilter image-container float_right"><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Lamborghini</span></p><p class="caption">Lamborghini has unveiled its new supercar, the Huracán. </p></div><p></p></div>Just a few weeks after the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/the-last-lamborghini-gallardo-ever-2013-11">very last Gallardo rolled of the assembly line</a>, Lamborghini has given us our first official look at the car that will take its place: the Huracán.</p>
<p>Continuing a tradition, the name comes from a famous bull who fought in Spain in 1879, "showing his unrelenting character and remaining defiant and invincible, thus entering into the legend of fighting bulls' history."</p>
<p>No doubt Lamborghini hopes the supercar will do the same.</p>
<p>From the photos and details released today, it's off to a good start. The Huracán is designed from scratch, and the first version, the LP 610-4, is powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine that generates over 600 horsepower. It will go from a dead stop to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, and top out at 201 mph.</p>
<p>In terms of style, it's unmistakably a Lambo, and not a big departure from the looks of the Gallardo.</p>
<p>But the supercar market is crowded with excellent offerings from Ferrari, Lamborghini's traditional rival, as well as McLaren, Porsche, and Aston Martin. So we'll have to see how the Huracán handles on the road - and how much it costs - before finding out how it will compete.</p>
<p>The Gallardo was introduced at the Geneva show in 2003, and saw a production run of 14,000 units. Those make up half of all Lamborghini cars ever made.</p>
<p>The brand new supercar will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but Lamborghini will host private viewing parties for "qualified prospects" starting in January.</p>
<p>First deliveries should start in the Spring of 2014. Pricing has not been announced.</p>
