To get a precise range for the next 30 days, use this formula: (20/√(12)) * 17,500. This gives us +/- 1,010. On Friday, domestic equity benchmarks closed higher, with the Nifty 50 finishing above 22,450. The Sensex increased by 253.31 points (0.34 per cent) to close at 73,917.03, while the Nifty 50 rose 62.25 points (0.28 per cent) to 22,466.10. The Nifty 50 formed a small positive candle on the daily chart, suggesting a high wave type candle formation, indicative of a positive market sentiment as it closed above Thursday's high of 22,432. Varun Aggarwal, founder and managing director, Profit Idea, said, "The Nifty faces resistance at the 22,500 level, where significant open interest on the call side exists. A decisive break above this level is required for the index to reach its all-time high. Support is currently at 22,300, with dips viewed as buying opportunities. The index trades above its 20-day SMA and has formed a 'Piercing Line' pattern on the weekly chart, with an RSI of 62." Internationally, the markets also showed mixed trends. Indian markets conduct disaster recovery test amid improved sentiment and positive FIIs

The New Delhi-based company plans to raise ₹836 crore from the public issue. Founded in 1994, Uniparts India obtained the market regulator Securities Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) clearance to launch its IPO twice, but never went ahead with it. The price band has been fixed between ₹548-577 per share. Each lot will consist of 25 shares. The IPO will go live on November 30 and will be available for subscription till December 2, according to the red herring prospectus filed by the company. Since this is entirely an offer for sale, the company will not receive any proceeds from the issue. Uniparts India’s ₹836 crore IPO to open on November 30

As of 9:26 am, Nifty was up by 0.22% and was trading at 24,595.85 points, while BSE Sensex was trading at slightly over the 80,000 mark, at 80,542.08 points. Bankex was up by around 114 points and is trading at 57,748.40 points. <keyword id="19923397" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ONGC" source="keywords">ONGC</keyword>, <keyword id="19908646" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="BPCL" source="keywords">BPCL</keyword>, <keyword id="19903558" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="NTPC" source="keywords">NTPC</keyword>, <keyword id="22163816" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shri-Ram-Finance" source="keywords">Shri Ram Finance</keyword>, and Hindalco gained early lead during trade today and were among the top gainers. On the other hand, Mahindra and Mahindra, Nestle India, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra were trading in red during early trade today. Aditya Gaggar, director of Progressive Shares noted that finally, the Index has given the much-awaited range breakout (23,970-24,420) and opened gates for 24,870; while on the flip side, the support level is shifted higher to 24,420. <keyword id="22183748" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="BankNifty" source="keywords">BankNifty</keyword> is still in the range of 49,730-50,730. We remain bullish on HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra. "Another sector which we are bullish on, with a stock-specific approach is FMCG ( Balrampur Chini, ITC, Jubilant Foodworks). After a spectacular rally, the pharma segment has formed a small bearish candle on the weekly chart. The round of correction, if any, is likely to be short-lived considering a strong bullish momentum. In the realty segment, a hidden bullish divergence was observed, defining trend continuation (DLF, Prestige Estate). Few stocks from the mid and smallcap segments appear strong on technical front namely Birla Corporation, Kitex Garments, and Avadh Sugar/PCBL/Sterling Tools", continued Gaggar. All broad market indices opened the day in green, with India VIX inching up by over 2%. Small caps and micro cap indices achieved an early lead, and were trading with gains over 1% each during trade today. As for sectoral indices, auto and IT registered marginal dips. Media, PSU banks and Oil and Gas registered gains of over 1% each.

If the market falls below this, it may decline to 23,700 or 23,600/78,000-77,800, where it has support from retracements and long-term averages. It's advisable to consider selective buying around this level. "On the upside, the major resistance levels are 24,150/79,000 and 24,400/79,900. It's recommended that weak, long positions be reduced to around 24,300/24,400. With the overbought conditions in the Auto sector, we recommend booking profits; however, selective buying can be seen in the ancillary space. We are bullish on ONGC and Reliance from the Energy space. The FMCG and IT sectors have given a breakout which indicates an extension of the current up-move. Keep an eye out for Colpal, Dabur, GodrejCP, ITC, Nestle-Tech Mahindra and Wipro. "We are bullish on the Pharma sector but it is approaching the higher end of the rising channel indicating a short-term reversal in the form of profit booking, however, the overall uptrend remains intact. Some stocks from the Textile segment have given a strong breakout namely Cantabil and Welspun Living", he continued. Shrikant Chouhan, Head Equity Research, Kotak Securities highlights that in the past week, the benchmark indices showed positive momentum, with the Nifty ending 0.73 percent higher and the Sensex gaining 522 points. The FMCG and IT sectors recorded strong momentum, both rallying over 3 percent. However, the Metal and Reality sectors experienced selling pressure despite the overall market momentum. "We believe that 24,400/80,100 and 24,350/79,800 would be crucial support levels for trend-following traders. On the higher side, 24,550-24,600/80,100-80,200 would serve as the resistance zone. A close above 24,650 could drive the market towards 24,900-25,000/81,000/81,300. Conversely, dropping below 24,350/79,800 could alter the sentiment, leading to a retest of the level of 24,150-24,100/79,500-79,100. The strategy should be reducing weak long positions between 24,550/24,600 levels. Buying is advisable around 24,250/24,200, with a stop loss at 24,100 on a closing basis.
