"We thank @iamsrk &amp; @gaurikhan for offering their 4-storey personal office space to help expand our Quarantine capacity equipped with essentials for quarantined children, women &amp; elderly. Indeed a thoughtful &amp; timely gesture," BMC's official Twitter handle post read. The 54-year-old superstar on Thursday announced various initiatives to help the country during the crisis. The actor has taken the help of his companies -- Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX -- to provide support to the central and state governments. SRK along with Gauri and business partners -- Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta -- will be contributing to the PM-CARES Fund through IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and will also make a donation to the Maharashtra CM's Relief Fund through his film banner Red Chillies Entertainment. Then the NCB launched its full-scale raid, detained eight passengers, including two women, consuming drugs, and seized different types of narcotics in varying quantities. Simultaneously, the cruise ship was ordered to turn and sail back to the ICT at Ballard Pier where the detained passengers were offloaded along with their baggage. A comprehensive search of their belongings as also the cruise ship is being carried out, while the detainees were sent for a medical examination.

The government on Wednesday released the draft Indian <keyword id="15052971" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="TELECOMMUNICATION-BILL" source="Orion">Telecommunication Bill</keyword>, 2022, under which it has proposed a provision to waive off fees and penalty of telecom and internet service providers. The ministry has proposed provision for refund of fees in case a telecom or internet provider surrenders his license. "Seeking your views on the draft <keyword id="10642" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="INDIAN-TELECOM" source="Orion">Indian Telecom</keyword> Bill 2022," Telecom Minister <keyword id="7796574" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="ashwini-vaishnaw" source="Orion">Ashwini Vaishnaw</keyword> said in a post on a social media platform in which he also shared the link of the draft bill. The last date for public comment on the draft is October 20. According to the draft , the central government may, "waive in part or full any fee, including entry fees, license fees, registrations fees or any other fees or charges, interest, additional charges or penalty" for any licence holder or registered entity under the telecom rules. The bill proposes to exempt "press messages that are intended to be published in India" of correspondents accredited to the central or state government from interception. However, the exemption will not be granted in case of any public emergency or in the interest of the public safety, sovereignty, integrity or security of India, friendly relations with foreign states, public order, or to prevent incitement to an offence, according to the draft. In such cases "any message or class of messages, to or from any person or class of persons, or relating to any particular subject, brought for transmission by, or transmitted or received by any telecommunication services or telecommunication network, shall not be transmitted, or shall be intercepted or detained or disclosed" to the authorized officer, according to the draft bill. The 'prevue', as the makers dubbed the 2.12 minute long clip, showcases <keyword id="4546" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="Orion">Shah Rukh</keyword> featuring in several death-defying stunts, songs and mouthing dialogues in his quintessential style. Directed by Atlee of "Theri" and "Mersal" fame, the upcoming pan-India movie also features <keyword id="16829" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="nayanthara" source="Orion">Nayanthara</keyword> and <keyword id="6354625" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="vijay-sethupathi" source="Orion">Vijay Sethupathi</keyword>. It is produced by Gauri Khan and co-produced by Gaurav Gupta under the production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. "Jawan" is billed as "a high-octane action thriller that outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in the society", the makers said in the accompanying press release. "Who am I, who am I not? I don't know. A promise to a mother or a purpose unfinished. Ask yourself if I am good, bad, a virtue or a curse? Because, for better or worse, I am also you. Ready? "You must have heard the name. This is just the beginning... When I become the villain, no hero stands a chance against me," Shah Rukh's character says in the clip. In the video, the actor is seen sporting four looks -- his face almost covered with bandages, a clean shave, his face half-covered with a grey mask and a bald look. "Jawan" also stars Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in key roles. In the clip, Nayanthara is seen arriving in style in her police jeep, whereas Vijay can be seen taking his best aim at a punching bag. The viewers see Deepika, clad in a red sari, wrestle it out with her opponent in rain and mud as she pins him down. According to the video, Shah Rukh's character is aided by an army of women in his mission. "Good to go, Girls?" he asks, to which they respond in unison: "Ready, Chief!" Set to 'The King Khan' rap, a foot-tapping song by Raja Kumari, the "Jawaan" footage ends with the star dancing to the classic Hemant Kumar song "Beqaraar Karke Humein" in a Metro train coach. "Jawan" is slated to be released worldwide on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film was earlier scheduled to premiere on June 2.
