It comes with the Dell logo at the back, with the rest of the back being empty. It offers an elegant yet utilitarian look, which is what the laptop’s target audience is probably looking for. The hinge of the laptop is also well-built and feels very sturdy.<br /><br />Opening the Dell Latitude 7455 with one hand may be an issue sometimes as you may not find anything on the lid to hold onto. The touchpad is large, which makes it easier to use and is very responsive.<br /><br />The keyboard is backlit and feels good to type on. As someone who has to type a lot, I had no issues while typing on the laptop. It features an anti-smudge coating so you don’t have to worry about fingerprint smudges.<br /><br />The laptop is good for viewing content and working, thanks to its colour accuracy. It offers a 60Hz refresh rate, which is a bit disappointing considering laptops in this segment usually offer a higher refresh rate.<br /><br /> <h2>Dell Latitude 7455 performance</h2>Coming to performance, the Dell Latitude 7455 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite Platform processor. The laptop is available in a single variant with 16GB LPDDR5x 8400 MHz RAM and a 512TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD.<br /><br />It is able to handle multi-tasking with ease, without any issues. There was no stuttering or lag, despite many applications and tabs open at once. You can easily multitask on the device with several applications running at once.<br /><br />The laptop comes with Windows CoPilot+ and offers a dedicated CoPilot key, allowing you to get access to AI-powered features with ease.<br /><br />The laptop’s cooling system also works well and I did not notice any abnormal heating.<br /><br />The laptop is equipped with a 3-cell 54 Whr battery and offers excellent battery life, thanks to the Snapdragon chipset. During regular usage, I could get around 12 hours of usage on a single charge, which is great.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Dell Latitude 7455 is a feature-packed laptop that is aimed at professionals looking for a powerful laptop with a compact form factor and a sleek design. It offers an elegant yet utilitarian look, which is probably what the laptop’s target audience is looking for.<br /><br /><div type="image" title="Hinge" msid="112447884" hostid="261" sizebytes="40532" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Dell Latitude 9450 hinge&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />The Latitude 9450 2-in-1 features a compact design but weighs 1.5 kg. The laptop comes with a 2-in-1 form factor, meaning it can also be used as a tablet. It features a sturdy hinge that allows you to comfortably convert it from a laptop to a tablet and vice versa, without worrying too much.<br /><br />The company says that this is the most compact business laptop in the market and it’s true. The weight is slightly on the higher side but that has been done to make it durable and sturdy. The metal edges and soft-touch matte finish give it a premium look and it feels good when you hold it.<br /><br />One of my gripes about a lot of laptops is that they are difficult to open with on hand. Opening the Dell Latitude 9450 may be an issue sometimes as you may not find anything on the lid to hold onto. Unlike Apple’s MacBook which can be opened easily with a single hand, I often had to use both hands to open the laptop.<br /><br />Once you open the laptop, you appreciate the design even more. The keyboard offers a smooth and velvety feel. The palm rest is also very soft and feels very comfortable to use. It features an anti-smudge coating so you don’t have to worry about fingerprint smudges. While you can easily navigate the touchscreen with your fingers, Dell also offers a stylus to help you make the best out of the touchscreen.<br /><br />While an OLED panel would have offered improved contrast and better blacks, the IPS panel on the Latitude 9450 performs well. The biggest issue with the display is that the refresh rate is limited to 60Hz.<br /><br /><h2>Performance</h2>The Dell Latitude 9450 is available in various configurations. I tested the variant with the Intel Core Ultra 7 165U chipset. The chipset offers which offers two performance cores and eight efficiency cores. The Intel Core Ultra is a new Meteor Lake chipset from the company and comes with Intel Arc graphics.<br /><br />The laptop is equipped with up to 16GB LPPDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe.<br /><br />The new chipset from Intel is equipped with a dedicated neural processor unit that is aimed at performing AI tasks with ease. The laptop can handle machine learning and AI workloads without breaking a sweat.<br /><br />As the device is packed with powerful hardware, I had no issues with performance. The laptop easily handles everything that you throw at it without any issues and multi-tasking is a breeze. The laptop is available in a single variant with 16GB LPDDR5x 8400 MHz RAM and a 512TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 SSD.<br /><br />The laptop is able to handle multi-tasking with ease, without any issues. There was no stuttering or lag, despite many applications and tabs open at once.<br /><br />The laptop’s cooling system also works well and I did not notice any abnormal heating.<br /><br />The HP EliteBook G1q comes with the Windows CoPilot+, alongside HP’s AI Companion app. The app can be used to streamline daily tasks, helping boost productivity.<br /><br />The app offers AI-powered features such as auto-framing and panning, keeping you in centre during calls. It also offers various enhancement options using AI, including the ability to reduce echoes.<br /><br />The laptop is equipped with a 59 Whr battery and offers a decent battery life, allowing you to get around 8 hours of usage. It supports 65W charging, allowing you to quickly charge the device.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The HP EliteBook G1q is a feature-packed device designed for professionals looking for a sleek and powerful laptop. The device ticks all the right boxes, including a good design, powerful hardware and a lightweight form factor.<br /><br />At the end of the day, price does come into play and the EliteBook G1q is priced on the higher side. A plain-Jane design, barely enough performance so that you can fill out your spreadsheets, right? Well, <keyword id="28251" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="dell" source="Orion">Dell</keyword> is trying to add a bit of flair to this category of laptops with the Dell Latitude 7320. There are actually two variants in this line-up, the vanilla Latitude 7320 which is a 2-in-1 laptop capable of a full 360-degree split and the Latitude 7320 Detachable which comes with a detachable folio keyboard.<br /><br />I got to spend a couple of weeks with the former and I found it pretty refreshing, to say the least, and here’s how it fared in my review.<br /><br /><strong>Design &amp; I/O</strong><br /><br />  <div type="image" title="ports - cropped" msid="88126237" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Dell Latitude has a bunch of ports to offer, including a full-sized HDMI and two USB type-C ports.&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br /><br />Let’s start with one of the things that I really came to like about the Dell Latitude 7320 — its design. It’s not too mundane like most <keyword id="2427663" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="business-laptops" source="Orion">business laptops</keyword> in the wild nor is it trying too hard to impress with something gaudy. It has a minimalist yet timeless design.<br /><br />It’s crafted out of aluminium, which yields it a premium feel and its overall footprint is pretty portable. Although it’s marketed as a lightweight laptop, tipping the scales at 1.12kg, it feels a bit heavy in your lap because of how dense it is. But given all this, it still can be carried around easily in a backpack.<br /><br />Opening the lid is manageable with a single hand, and once you do that you are greeted with a 13-inch display, keyboard and trackpad. Thanks to the aluminium build, there’s very little flex on the keyboard deck as well as the lid.<br /><br />In terms of I/O options, on the right side of the laptop, you’ll find a microSD card reader, a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port, a USB-A port, an HDMI port, and the wedge lock slot. The left side features another Thunderbolt 4 port and a combo audio jack.<br /><br />This laptop only charges via Type-C and ports on both sides can be used — something that I find really practical. It usually sucks when the direction of your AC socket is opposite to that of your charging port, so the ability to charge your laptop via both sides is really convenient.<br /><br /><strong>Specifications and Pricing<br /></strong>Since this is a business laptop, it comes in a plethora of configurations to choose from. This is because employers buy such laptops in bulk, and configure them to their liking. But Dell says that in its top configuration, you can power it up with Intel’s vPro-enabled 11th-Generation i7-1185G7 processor paired with Iris X integrated Graphics, 32GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a terabyte of PCIe Gen 3 M.2 SSD. It is also TPM 2.0 compliant, so you may get support for Windows 11.<br /><br />The vPro badge basically means IT can have remote access to your laptop and can also provide timely updates tailored to your company’s needs.<br /><br />In terms of pricing, Dell says the bare basic version of Dell Latitude 7320 starts at Rs. 85,000 (exclusive of taxes) and then you can start building it up according to your enterprise’s needs.<br /><br />  <div type="image" title="intel core i5 - cropped" msid="88126258" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Dell Latitude 7320 comes in a plethora of configurations but all of them feature Intel&amp;#39;s latest 11th-generation processors. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />Having said that, my review unit came with an Intel i5-1135G7 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB PCIe NVMe Class 35 SSD. All this was backed by a 42WHr battery that was accompanied by a 65W charger.<br /><br /><strong>Hardware performance<br /></strong>The hardware was good enough to get through most of my casual work which mostly included some heavy Chrome browsing. Heavy spreadsheets along with some docs and CMS duties worked just fine -- both with and without the charger.<br /><br />This laptop also comes with Dell Optimizer pre-installed. Once I took out the time to set it up (and not treat it as yet another piece of bloat), I ended up liking it. For starters, it gave me access to ExpressConnect, which made sure I connected to the fastest access point available around me, something that I found really useful in the office. ExpressSign-in is another such feature that I found useful. It used the laptop’s proximity sensor enabled by Intel’s Context Sensing Technology to determine when to ask me for the four-digit pin to log in. It worked well in the day, but the night I could see it faltering. Then you also have ExpressResponse, which may be the most undervalued of all these. It lets you prioritise the apps you use the most so that you can open them faster.<br /><br />I didn’t expect much in terms of video editing or gaming, as my unit lacked standalone graphics and sufficient RAM, and I was mostly right. Adobe Premiere Pro was mostly unusable due to the stuttering and 13-inch screen size. The same is the case with gaming. F1 2020 was too slow to be played. But older titles, such as Age of Empires 2 and Stronghold Crusader HD from Steam worked fine. So if you’re a person who is into casual gaming, you may not mind it all that much.<br /><br /><strong>Display</strong><br />While we are on the topic of screen size, I think the 13-inch display of this laptop is actually pretty good at what it does. As the full HD resolution isn’t being stretched much, it looks crisp. I also like the colour saturation of the display— it’s vibrant and very much to my liking. The display also comes with ComfortView technology that claims reduces blue-light emissions, making sure your eyes aren’t stressed when you’re working for long hours.<br /><br />The display has a glossy finish, so reflections are going to be problematic if you’re planning to work outdoors or in a brightly lit room. But indoors, it’s pretty much manageable.<br /><br />  <div type="image" title="glare - cropped" msid="88126275" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Dell Latitude 7320 comes with a 13-inch full HD touchscreen that is prone to catching fingerprints and reflections.  &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br /><br />The touchscreen performance was nothing to write home about. Sometimes it was pretty responsive to my inputs, sometimes it wasn’t. But swipe gestures were a bit difficult to execute precisely overall. The speakers, though downward-firing, sounded a little tiny to my liking and lacked thump. Further, the glossy nature of the display also makes it a fingerprint magnet, something that becomes more noticeable when you use it in tablet mode.<br /><br />It was nice, nevertheless, to have 2-in-1 functionality. I’m a bit of a loner and I liked having a big-ish display to accompany me in the kitchen (I don’t recommend you do this) as I watched the latest episode of Young Sheldon.<br /><br />The top of the display also houses a 720p webcam with a privacy slider. It doesn’t take up a lot of bezel real estate and is compatible with Windows Hello, which means you can unlock your laptop with it. The webcam quality is nothing extraordinary, but it’s not terrible either and you can totally use it to attend Zoom calls or Google Meets.<br /><br /><strong>Keyboard and trackpad<br /></strong>Given its small footprint, the Latitude 7320 has a surprisingly well-spaced keyboard. But that didn’t translate into a good typing experience. While I did like the size and travel of the keys, I didn’t like the feedback. I wasn’t quite sure about my inputs getting registered at times, which is a bummer for a work laptop. One thing I did like was the distinctive feel of the power button and how well it was integrated into the keyboard. I never pressed it by accident, and whenever I did press it, it felt purposeful and deliberate. The trackpad, though small, was pretty responsive and I had no issues with it.<br /><br />  <div type="image" title="keyboard - cropped" msid="88126284" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The Dell Latitude 7320&amp;#39;s keyboard is nice and spaced out, but has poor tactile feedback. &amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br /><br /><strong>Connectivity</strong><br />In terms of wireless connectivity, you have the latest WiFi 6 offering along with Bluetooth 5.1 across the lineup. Connecting to a network is quick and so are the data speeds. I also connected a pair of headphones and speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth, and the results were acceptable, offering about 7-8m of uninterrupted wireless connectivity.<br /><br /><strong>Battery</strong><br />Battery backup is pretty important for a business laptop like this and I was able to extract eight hours easily. This was achieved while browsing some Chrome, filling spreadsheets, playing videos and writing documents. Playing Age of Empires 2 for an hour, cut the backup by an hour and a half, which isn’t terrible by any measure.<br /><br /><strong>Verdict</strong><br />Given the great design, portability, build quality, crisp display and good battery life, the Dell Latitude 7320 makes for a good business laptop. The keyboard, though pretty well laid out, wasn’t very comfortable for my long fingers, but the typing experience may be slightly different for you. This is basically WearOS with Samsung’s tweaks on top. The watch can be connected and managed using the Galaxy Wearable app, which is easy to use. To track your health and activities, you need to download the Samsung Health app.<br /><br />Like any WearOS or Samsung watch, the interface on the Galaxy Watch Ultra is smooth and easy to use. You can install applications from the Play Store and use them on the watch.<br /><br />You get a ton of watch faces and customisation options to choose from. If you aren’t happy with these, you also have the option to download more from the Play Store.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with its own watch face, offering a red-coloured night mode.<br /><br />Like most gadgets these days, the watch also comes with AI baked in, allowing you to quickly reply to messages and more.<br /><br />One issue that I faced with the watch is that for some important features such as taking an electrocardiogram (ECG) or getting a blood pressure report, you will need to connect to a Samsung smartphone. These features are not available on other Android smartphones.<br /><br /><h2>Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra features and performance</h2>The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by the Exynos W1000 chipset, equipped with a 5-core CPU, which is claimed to offer nearly four times better performance than its predecessor, along with 30% improved power efficiency. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with a new Siren feature, allowing you to hold down the Action Button to enable a loud siren, which can come in handy during emergencies.<br /><br />Samsung has packed the device with features and offers a ton of health tracking sensors. It comes with a new Samsung BioActive Sensor, which includes an optical bio-signal sensor, electrical heart signal and bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor.<br /><br />The watch also comes with an optical heart rate sensor, a temperature sensor, a light sensor, a geomagnetic sensor and more.<br /><br />For positioning, the Galaxy Watch Ultra comes with L1+LG dual-frequency GPS, offering improved accuracy.<br /><br />The watch accurately offers activity and fitness tracking, making it a great option for those looking for accurate activity tracking in a smartwatch.<br /><br />The watch was also accurately able to track my sleep patterns, along with blood oxygen during sleep, skin temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate. If you track your sleep regularly for seven days, it starts offering more insights about your sleep patterns and also offers recommendations.<br /><br />Another area where Samsung has deployed AI is to determine your energy score. It uses aspects such as sleep time and activity to help you determine your energy levels for the day. It also offers suggestions if any particular thing needs your attention.<br /><br />One of the key health metrics that the watch offers is ECG and BP tracking.<br /><br />The watch offers alerts for abnormally high or low heart rates and can detect irregular heart rhythms that can indicate atrial fibrillation.<br /><br />The Galaxy Watch Ultra is powered by a 590mAh battery, which is claimed to offer up to 100 hours of battery life with workout detection in power-saving mode.<br /><br />With AOD and regular HR tracking enabled, I managed to squeeze out nearly three days of battery life from the device, which is quite good.<br /><br />Samsung has offered a wireless magnetic charger with the watch and it does not work with regular wireless chargers. It takes nearly 2 hours to charge, so you need to plan accordingly.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is a feature-packed watch and is the only such option in the market. gaming monitor is premium and the design reflects this. The monitor features a sleek and elegant design. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful monitors I’ve used to date.<br /><br /><div type="image" title="2" msid="113404216" hostid="261" sizebytes="6750" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Alienware logo at the back&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />At the back, the monitor comes with a black-and-white theme, offering a good contrast. While the black part is glossy, the white part is matte. The back comes with the Alienware logo with RGB lighting on the right side and a “32” logo on the left side with RGB lighting. The lighting at the back can be customised using the Alienware Command Centre.<br /><br />The monitor comes with a wide-base V-shaped stand with matte white plastic on top of a sturdy metal base. The monitor comes with Alienware branding at the front on the bottom bezel.<br /><br />You can tilt the screen up or down or swivel side to side, based on your preference to get the best viewing angles. The monitor weighs 6 kg for the panel and goes up to 8.8 kg with the stand.<br /><br />At the back, the monitor offers a white cover that allows you to tuck in your cables, allowing you to properly manage your cables.<br /><br />One of the only drawbacks of the monitor is that this doesn’t pack in speakers. While headphones are best for gaming, having a speaker comes in handy when you do not wish to use headphones.<br /><br />It comes with a joystick at the bottom that allows you to control the monitor’s menu system. The joystick works well and responds quickly. You get several customisation options with the joystick, including HDR modes, custom colour calibration, presets, modes and more.<br /><br />You also get some features aimed at gamers such as an on-screen crosshair, sniper mode, shadow boosting and a black equalizer.<br /><br />In terms of connectivity, the monitor offers one DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, two HDMI 2.1 ports, three USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port. One of the HDMI 2.1 ports also offers eARC support.<br /><br />Both the HDMI ports offer 4K 240Hz support but the USB ports work only as a hub and cannot be used as a display input.<br /><br /><h2>Display and performance</h2>The Alienware AW3225QF features a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED display with a 1700R curve, a resolution of 3,840 x 2160 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. It offers an immersive experience while gaming without having an impact on regular usage or taking up too much space on your desk.<br /><br />Despite being an ultraide monitor, you don’t have to worry about black bars on a PC or console, thanks to the 16:9 aspect ratio. <br /><br />The monitor offers a 1 million:1 contrast ratio and offers a pixel density of 140 PPI, which is an improvement. The monitor’s colour gamut covers 100% of sRGB, 98% of DCI-P3 and 94% of AdobeRGB.<br /><br />Gaming on the monitor is a completely different experience, especially when you pair it with a powerful GPU that can deliver the best graphics.<br /><br />I played various games with the monitor, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and Ghost of Tsushima. I had an amazing experience with the monitor as it delivers vibrant visuals and a smooth gaming experience.<br /><br />The monitor offers an excellent resolution, vibrant colours and excellent response time.<br /><br />The monitor comes with various HDR modes, including Dolby Vision HDR mode. You need to play around with it a bit to select the best mode for your needs.<br /><br />The monitor is equipped with a pixel refresh function, aimed at preventing burn-in, which is usually an issue for OLED panels. Considering the premium that you pay for the monitor, Alienware offers a three-year warranty for burn-in.<br /><br />The monitor offers active cooling and is equipped with a fan. The fan fans slowly so it is not audible so you don’t get disturbed.<br /><br /><h2>Verdict</h2>The Alienware AW3225QF is among the best gaming monitors that money can buy and ticks all the right boxes. It features an excellent design, a vibrant display with a high resolution and refresh rate and delivers excellent performance.<br /><br />The only question you need to ask is whether you wish to spend a huge amount on a monitor. Compared with Lenovo’s Thinkpad line-up and Dell latitude laptops, HP Pavilion series is generally considered the better looking ones. It is the performance where all three are running for the top spot. With HP Pavilion Plus, the brand is also trying to win this round. So is this indeed the perfect enterprise and student laptop? I will explain this in my review. <br /><br /><strong>Price &amp; Availability</strong><br />HP Pavilion Plus is available only in one variant. The laptop comes with an Intel core i5 processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and Intel iRIS Xe graphics. It is available at a price of ₹79,999. You can buy the laptop from Amazon India, HP’s own website, and select offline retailers. <br /><br /><strong>Design &amp; Display</strong><br />HP Pavilion Plus follows a familiar design language that we are accustomed to on HP laptops. Offered only in a natural silver color, it looks chic and yet minimalistic. Unlike the newer HP laptops with the revised HP logo on the back, here we get to see the good old circular stamp. On the right side there are two USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port and an HDMI port. On the left side it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, another USB Type-A port and a micro SD card reader. The card reader was beneficial for me since I copy footage regularly. It is rare on laptops these days, but having anything additional is a bonus.<br /><div type="image" title="You also get a dedicated Micro SD card reader" msid="95145701" hostid="261" sizebytes="30192" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;You also get a dedicated Micro SD card reader&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />Opening up the lid we are greeted with a backlit keyboard. HP is calling it a full size keyboard. However, this isn’t one considering we don’t have a dedicated number pad here. Keeping that aside, it does take some time getting used to the keyboard. Usually it is the control key that is the bigger of the two, but it’s the opposite in its case. And trust me, it’s more annoying than it seems. Anytime I would think I am pressing the control key I would end up punching the alt key. <br /><br />I find it very surprising that we also don’t get a ₹ symbol key on the keyboard. I have the same issue on my Macbook Pro as well. In both cases, I had to set up macros on the keyboard. Especially since this review is also written on the HP Pavilion Plus. <br /><br />That being said, with practice, you will reach back to your optimum typing speed, since the travel time here is indeed perfect. Also, the backlight on the keys is perhaps the brightest that I have seen lately. You have three levels of brightness for them, which is also useful for saving the battery. <br /><br />Keyboard shortcuts on a business laptop are a must, and HP has done a fairly good job with that. The F key row on the laptop lets you adjust pretty much everything necessary here. A quirky shortcut is an F1 key that has a smiley emoji on it. It is a shortcut to an emoji &amp; GIF menu for you to share. Something I have not seen on a laptop. <br /><br />Panning down from the keyboard, we have a big trackpad that takes up almost half the palm rest area on the laptop. As expected, you get some neat gestures on the trackpad. Like, pinch in to zoom and swipe to shift windows. However, they are a bit choppy in execution. When it comes to basic actions like tapping or scrolling on a page it works fine. But with complex gestures, it seems to miss out. And it does get annoying, especially when you are coming from a Macbook. I would try to view the tabs with a swipe but end up closing the page altogether. Eventually, I had to avoid using gestures.<br /><br /><strong>Display</strong><br />HP Pavilion Plus features a standard display for 2022 laptops in its segment. This is a 14-inch display with a screen resolution of 2240x1400 pixels. The display has thin bezels on three sides and a thick bottom bezel. These are textbook characteristics of an enterprise laptop.<br /><br />Now HP has tried to make the display for both entertainment and work. I watched the She-Hulk finale on it, along with the latest episode of Andor. The color tones on the panel are accurate, and the HDR also looks decent most of the time. What I didn’t like is its low brightness levels, especially outdoors. <br /><br />A show like Andor, which has a ton of scenes in outer space, demands good amounts of brightness to register the action, which was missing in this one. The black levels were also slightly underwhelming - a characteristic usually associated with LCD panels.<br /><br />But it’s not all bad here since the audio setup on the laptop will surprise you. One of the louder speaker setups I have heard on a business notebook, the HP Pavilion Plus, can provide room-filling audio. I would often find myself listening to music while working on the laptop. <br /><br /><div type="image" title="The brightness on the panel is underwhelming for watching content" msid="95146093" hostid="261" sizebytes="112960" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;The brightness on the panel is underwhelming for watching content&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />While the display performance for entertainment is a bit underwhelming, it manages to make up when it comes to working. With a matte coating on the screen, there were no glares or reflections that would distract me.<br /><br />The provided screen brightness is more than enough for general computing. This involves spreadsheets, emails, and Google Meet calls as well. Also, since the display comes with an anti-glare coating, there was no problem working on the laptop outdoors as well. <br /><br />Simply put, from a strict business notebook perspective, this is one of the better displays I have personally used. But if you wish to have an all-in-one performer, then you might be disappointed.<br /><br />I want to close this section by discussing the laptop’s integrated webcam. This is a 5MP sensor that will surprise you. Usually, laptop webcams are infamous for grainy pictures and poor low light performance. The unit here takes care of both of these issues to a large extent. The sensor captured better details on video calls and did comparatively better in low light conditions. <br /><br /><strong>Software &amp; Performance</strong><br />HP Pavilion Plus is powered by a 12th gen Intel core i5 processor, which is a favorite of OEMs when it comes to business notebooks. Efficiently tuned, the chipset does fare well for general computing tasks. Namely - emails, surfing the internet, video calls, maintaining spreadsheets, and accessing Google suite.<br /><br />This serves the core purpose of this laptop, it breezes past everyday tasks smoothly. <br /><br />But I am not a regular user, since my job also demands me to edit videos. And so I gave it a shot. I installed premiere pro on the laptop and tried rendering short videos that we publish on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/businessinsiderin/reels/">Business Insider India’s </a> Instagram. <br /><br />Do note this is a 9:16 timeline with 1080P footage shot at 30 fps and some basic transitions and graphics. And while I had some doubts about it, the performance was not shabby. A 70-second video was exported within 2 minutes which is respectable. I have tried similar renders on Dell Latitude laptops with similar chipsets and the export time was in line with those. <br /><br />Where the HP Pavilion Plus surprised me was the render quality. On the Dell Latitude laptop,, I observed a green tint in the exported file, which was a GPU limitation. However, here, the Intel Iris Xe graphics show their prowess. It’s subtle but noteworthy. <br /><br />Yes, it doesn’t mean that you can rely on the Pavilion Plus as your go-to machine for video editing, considering it taps out on 1080P resolution for editing. But yes, this is good enough hardware for urgent cuts, chopping, and a fair bit of photo editing. <br /><br />Also, the 16GB of DDR4 RAM on the laptop is worth noting. It makes the operations on it breezy. From boot up speed of the laptop to starting new applications, the experience is smooth. And I am talking about heavy apps like Premiere Pro as well. <br /><br />We get 512GB of SSD storage on the laptop which provides quick read and write speeds. I also connected an HDD with the laptop to transfer data and the speed was respectable at 90 mbps. And this is perhaps its strongest suite. I was getting upto 4 hours of average battery life on a heavy day of usage on the laptop. The ideal drainage is also minimal and I would generally just shut the lid on the laptop and go on with my day. Charging speeds are also favorable with the laptop charging upto 50% within 30 minutes with the 90 Whr charger. A complete charge takes about an hour and 15 minutes. <br /><br />Battery life is very crucial on a business notebook and HP has done well on that aspect. <br /><br />Now, on to software. The HP Pavilion Plus runs on Windows 11 Home, and the performance is standard. Instagram, Spotify, Google Chrome and Whatsapp. And the performance across them was smooth. <br /><br />So if you are familiar with the Windows 11 ecosystem and want a smoother performance then you are in for a treat. Considering the hardware does infact improve the performance to the last mile. <br /><br /><strong>Verdict</strong><br />HP Pavilion Plus finds itself at a very tough spot considering the price. At ₹79,999 it becomes very difficult to recommend this laptop to users without mentioning a specific use case. So let me break it down for you all. <br /><br />If you are someone who swears by a Windows machine and wants a reliable business notebook. Then you can consider the Pavilion Plus. It is expensive but takes care of all your executive needs. <br /><br />But, if you are a student or a dynamic user who doesn’t have a well-defined use case, then you can look at other options in the same price range. Maybe even a Macbook Air M1 if budget isn’t an issue. <br /><br /><br /><br />
