<ul class="summary-list"><li>Insider spoke with "<keyword id="185454" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="the-circle">The Circle</keyword>" winner <keyword id="11247592" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="deleesa-st-agathe">Deleesa St. Agathe</keyword> about what it was like to film the show. </li><li>Contestants don't have access to clocks or calendars the entire time they're on the show. </li><li>And starting a private chat with someone on the show isn't as easy as it looks on <keyword id="6355065" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="TV">TV</keyword>. </li></ul><p>Many reality competition shows are filled with challenging obstacle courses, explosive confrontations, and exotic locations. </p><p>But <a href="https://www.insider.com/surprising-cool-facts-about-the-circle-on-netflix-2020-3">"The Circle" is a series</a> completely designed around virtually chatting with strangers in brightly-decorated apartments for weeks on end. </p><p>So how long do the contestants actually spend talking to each other each day, and what do they do when they're not typing away?</p><p>Insider chatted with <a href="https://www.insider.com/the-circle-winner-learned-she-was-pregnant-during-filming-2021-5">second season winner DeLeesa St. Agathe</a> to find out. </p><h2>The contestants don't have access to a calendar or clock the entire time they're on 'The Circle' </h2><div type="image" title="Chloe from &quot;The Circle&quot;" height="1506" width="2008" msid="82755878" hostid="261"></div><p><a href="https://www.insider.com/why-the-circle-winner-thought-courtney-was-going-to-win-2021-5">St. Agathe told Insider</a> that she isn't even completely sure how long she spent filming the show because she had no concept of time inside "The Circle." </p><p>"We had to quarantine beforehand for two weeks, so I want to say overall maybe four to six weeks," she said. "But listen, my time is all messed up! I didn't have a calendar and then you go through this emotional roller coaster and then it's like, I'm going home to see my family." </p><p>Since there are no clocks, the contestants could be talking to each other at three or four in the morning.</p><p>"I had no clue the time of anything, honestly," St. Agathe said. </p><h2>You can message whoever you want, just not necessarily when you want to </h2><div type="image" title="The Circle chat messages" height="1594" width="2816" msid="82755879" hostid="261"></div><p>While the show may make it look like starting a private chat with someone is super easy, St. Agathe said you actually have to spend a lot of time waiting. </p><p>"When it comes to chatting with people, you can chat with whoever you want," she said. "But there's so many people and you're not able to talk to everyone at the same time or whoever you want, when you want. It's not as free as you sending a text message, it doesn't work that way. You have to be fully invested in the conversation." </p><p>"If that person's in another conversation, you have to wait your turn," she added. </p><h2>There isn't as much downtime in 'The Circle' as you think </h2><div type="image" title="Mitchell on &quot;The Circle&quot;" height="1406" width="1874" msid="82755880" hostid="261"></div><p>One of the running gags on "The Circle" is showing the various ways the contestants try to entertain themselves when they're not chatting with each other. </p><p>But St. Agathe said there actually isn't that much free time during filming. </p><p>"You don't have as much time as people think you have," she said. "Some of the games take much longer than you see on TV. You're actually doing a lot all day long, and you need to fit in cooking, eating, shower, hair and makeup, so you really don't have that much." </p><p>When she did have free time, St. Agathe discovered creative ways to keep herself occupied. </p><p>"I was playing with my hair and my wigs and my makeup, and that takes a lot of time," she said. "I had puzzles and Sudoku. I'd just twerk around the apartment. I was doing the dumbest things!" </p><h2>You can also eat whatever you want in 'The Circle' </h2><div type="image" title="Khat on &quot;The Circle&quot;" height="1348" width="1798" msid="82755881" hostid="261"></div><p>Contestants are often shown cooking up a storm in their kitchens on "The Circle," and St. Agathe revealed the producers make sure you get whatever your heart desires. </p><p>"They take care of your groceries for you," she said. "You give a list and they refill your groceries for you - whatever you need, whatever you want."</p>

<ul class="summary-list"><li>"<keyword id="185454" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="60" keywordseo="the-circle">The Circle</keyword>" winner <keyword id="11247592" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="deleesa-st-agathe">DeLeesa St. Agathe</keyword> thought Courtney Revolution was going to win the season. </li><li>St. Agathe told Insider she thought Revolution won it after sharing what he'd do with the money. </li><li>Revolution told the contestants he wanted to win for his stepdad, who has stage 3 kidney disease.</li></ul><p>DeLeesa St. Agathe didn't think she stood a chance to win "The Circle" before <a href="https://www.insider.com/the-circle-winner-learned-she-was-pregnant-during-filming-2021-5">she took home the $100,000 prize</a>. </p><p>St. Agathe, who won <a href="https://www.insider.com/surprising-cool-facts-about-the-circle-on-netflix-2020-3">the Netflix show</a>'s second season while pretending to be her husband Trevor, told Insider this week that she thought Courtney Revolution was the contestant to beat. </p><p>Initially, St. Agathe said she expected Chloe Veitch - who came in second place - to take the top spot, but that changed when the contestants had to share what they would do with the prize money before the final ranking. </p><p>"The whole time I thought Chloe was going to win," St. Agathe said. "Chloe was very popular of course, influencer status all the time, and I never really heard anyone say anything bad about her. She was always my top. Then we spoke about what we would do with the money, and obviously I was crying and boohooing when Courtney said his piece." </p><p>Revolution shared with the group that he would spend the money on his stepdad, who has stage 3 kidney disease. </p><p>"After being abandoned by my biological father, he taught me what it meant to be a man," Revolution said during the episode. "Winning means celebrating his life, which he dedicated to teaching me life's greatest lessons." </p><p>St. Agathe said she then believed that Revolution was going to win the finale. </p><p>"It quickly changed over to Courtney 'cause I'm like, you know what, I feel people are really going to connect with Courtney. I connected with it, I was crying and I felt like he really played the game to better his family's life. And you know, obviously I'm all about family, so that really touched me." </p><p>"So I'm like, if anything, I'm pretty sure it would be Courtney," she added. "I didn't think it was going to be me at all." </p><p>After it was revealed that Revolution had come in third place, St. Agathe figured Veitch had won after all. </p><p>"I'm like, okay it's going to be Chloe, let's be happy for this girl," St. Agathe recalled with a laugh. "Just smile and don't cry, be happy for her because she deserves it too. I really thought that was going to happen." </p><p>As for which fellow catfish surprised her the most, St. Agathe said she was most impressed that Lee Swift, 58, was able to successfully pretend to be a 20-year-old for the entire competition. </p><p>"I knew River was a catfish but I'm like hold up, this dude is an older man, he's not just a regular person his age trying to be someone else - he's a whole older man!" St. Agathe said. "I was just like, how did you pull that off? I thought he did a great job. I think we were all surprised. It was hilarious."</p>

You're forming friendships, contemplating alliances, and <a href="https://www.insider.com/the-circle-netflix-unlike-any-other-reality-show-on-tv-2020-1">weeding out the catfish</a> - all in the hopes of making it to the final and winning $100,000. </p><p>But Netflix's hit reality show was even more demanding <a href="https://www.insider.com/michelle-buteau-the-circle-season-2-surprise-2020-10">for season two</a> winner <a href="https://www.instagram.com/leesaunique/?hl=en">DeLeesa St. Agathe</a>, who found out she was pregnant in the middle of filming. </p><p>St. Agathe - who competed on the show pretending to be her husband Trevor - spoke with Insider about the moment she knew she was having baby number two. </p><p>"The Circle" winner revealed that she found out she was pregnant about midway through filming the season, but that she "kind of knew in the back of my head" before taking a pregnancy test because she'd started having the same symptoms she had during her first pregnancy.</p><p>Even still, St. Agathe tried to keep her head in the game as she survived blocking after blocking in the competition. </p><p>"It's one of those things like, if you don't see it, it doesn't exist," she said with a laugh. "I was thinking like, if I don't pay attention to it, I'm not gonna get hit with the early symptoms of pregnancy - the nausea, the tiredness." </p><h2>The show's producers asked St. Agathe to take a pregnancy test, and it was positive </h2><p>"I swear to you, the next day it was like bam, nausea, bam. You're 10 times more exhausted than you were these last few days, because now you have a little baby growing inside of you," she said. "And that was pretty difficult for me, I was really tired at times." </p><p>"Obviously it's a show, and I came to put on a show. I want to have energy, I want to have fun with it and be really involved. So it was really hard for me to not be so tired," she added.</p><p>But the pregnancy gave St. Agathe even more motivation to win the game. </p><p>She told Insider finding out she was pregnant gave her "that motivation and push to make sure I do everything I can to try to win that money."</p><p>"Even [after the positive pregnancy test], I tried to push it to the back of my head because I needed to focus on the game. I was like, I can't have this take away from my game because now - especially at this point - the game is everything. The game was everything, but now it's everything times two," she added.</p><h2>St. Agathe didn't tell her husband about the pregnancy until after the finale</h2><p>She called Trevor to deliver the news, revealing that they were $100,000 richer <em>and</em> expecting a second child in just a matter of minutes. </p><p>"I don't even remember his reaction, there was so much going on, he was just so shocked," St. Agathe recalled. "He was like, 'Oh my god, you won, this is crazy!' and then I'm like, 'Yeah, yeah, and I'm pregnant,' and he's just like 'What? You're pregnant? What do you mean!?'" </p><p>"At some point all of the emotions kind of hit him, he was tearing up," she added. "It was just crazy!"  </p><h2>St. Agathe already has a lot planned for her future after 'The Circle' </h2><p>St. Agathe - who is due in about a month - used her prize money for the mortgage on a new home in Atlanta. And she said she's going to keep being a "mompreneur," running both her <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/LeesaUnique">personal YouTube channel</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgCixpReJi92JkmO21wmuHA/videos">her family's YouTube channel</a>, which have more than 60,000 subscribers between them. </p><p>"People are so invested in what's going on in our lives and our relationship as a couple, as a family, as young parents, and our challenges are on there as well," St. Agathe said. "It's basically our own show on YouTube and that is what I would also love to see in the future - to possibly have our own family show. We have a lot to offer the world!"</p><p>In the meantime, St. Agathe is also keeping busy running her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/BeUniqueShoppe/">clothing store</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/GoodieBoxStore/">gift box store</a>. She's also about to release children's books to help inspire "little girls to grow up strong and independent." </p><p>"I'm just doing the damn thing, I'm trying to make generational wealth here," she said with a laugh. "I want to make sure my family is good. That's my whole purpose in life, to make sure we are good.</p>
