Under the collaboration, Gentari Green Mobility Business will procure and deploy electric vehicles for the company in the next three years besides providing comprehensive fleet management services to the delivery service partners (DSPs) to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of the <keyword id="20475726" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="EV-fleet" source="keywords">EV fleet</keyword>, Amazon India said. The partnership will provide Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) access to more electric three-wheelers for Amazon deliveries, it added. "We aim to empower our delivery service partners by providing them access to the right electric vehicles, end-to-end vehicle life cycle management services, as well as charging and parking facilities," said Abhinav Singh, VP (Operations) at Amazon India. The company deployed more than 7,200 EVs in India at the end of 2023, and it remains well on track to achieve its goal of deploying 10,000 EVs in the domestic market by 2025, he said. Amazon India has operations across 400 cities in the country. "As we work together to deploy more EVs and contribute to India's net zero targets, I'm confident this collaboration will pave the way for a cleaner and electric future for India's transportation sector," said Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India. Our defence manufacturers are part of each other's supply chain. In the last few years, there was an unprecedented increase in interoperability between the two militaries. We have decided to further strengthen the cooperation on Homeland security and to take steps against those who support terrorism. President Trump has given priority to the war against opioids today we have a greed honour new mechanism to deal with drug trafficking narcotics and organised crime. We have further solidified the recently established energy strategic partnership today. US has become a big source of energy for India in the recent years. In the last four years, the total bilateral trade on energy has been $20 billion, from renewables to nuclear, the cooperation is getting more energy. In the same way, India and US partnership are setting new benchmarks in cooperation in Industry 4.0 and other new emerging technologies of the 21st century. Indians talent has has enriched American companies with their leadership, democratic values, and culture. India and US want open and fair and balanced rate are committed the last 3 years the bilateral trade has grown in double digits and it's become more balanced. Just four sectors⁠— energy, civil aviation, defence, and higher education⁠— have contributed send $70 billion to the bilateral trade between the two countries in the last 4-5 years. This has been possible because of some the policy decisions taken by President Trump. I am fully confident that in the days to come this number will rise significantly in the days to come. As far as the bilateral trade is concerned, there have been constructive discussions between the two Commerce Ministries. President Trump and I have agreed to our respective teams will give legal shape to the understanding between the two Commerce ministers and to start negotiations on a trade deal. The partnership between the two countries is based on shared democratic values and goals. Especially, in the area of Indo-Pacific and global commerce, this cooperation will be important to bring a rule-based order. We agreed to push for sustainable and transparent financing in global connectivity. The synergies (between India and US) are not just beneficial to the two countries but to the world at large. I have sought President Trump that the two sides must take forward the 'totalisation' process of 'social security' contributions by the Indian diaspora in US. Donald Trump, US President: I know Prime Minister Modi will agree that this has been productive discussion. The two countries have expanded defence cooperation with agreements for India to purchase $3 billion American military equipment including Apache and MH 60 Romeo helicopters India will purchase over $3 billion defence equipment including Apache and Romeo 360 helicopters. Prime Minister and I agreed to protect our citizens from radical Islamic terrorism. United States is also working productively with Pakistan to confront terrorists who operate on its soil. The Prime Minister and I are revitalising the QUAD initiative between India, US, Australia, and Japan. It seems more than a meeting of ministers with all the expanded cooperation on counter-terrorism, cyber security, and maritime security towards creating a free and open Indo-Pacific. The two countries are united by shared traditions of democracy and constitution protect freedom rights and the rule of law. During our visit, we discussed the importance of a secure 5G wireless network and the need for this emerging technology to be a a tool for freedom, progress, and prosperity and not to do anything with where it could be even conceived as a conduit of suppression and censorship; to guarantee that the infrastructure of the future is built in a safe, transparent, and accountable way. United States is working with a range of partners including Australia and Japan to create the Blue Dart network initiative to ensure countries around the world have access to private sector-led sustainable options for high quality infrastructure development. I am optimistic that we can reach a (bilateral trade) deal that will be of a great significance to both countries. While the act frames a comprehensive strategy for the US in the Asia, it singles out India as an important military partner with a key role in maintaining peace and stability in the region. It also calls for a strengthening in trade and diplomatic ties with India and well as increased exchange of military technologies and information. The US reiterated its commitment to all bilateral pacts signed with India, including the 2012 United States-India Defense Technology and Trade Initiative and the 2015 Joint Strategic Vision for the <keyword id="1551039" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indo-Pacific">Indo-Pacific</keyword> and Indian Ocean Region. The act also stressed the importance of the Quadrilateral security dialogue between the US, Australia, India, and Japan. In September last year, India signed the the <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/india-and-the-us-just-signed-a-landmark-military-intelligence-sharing-agreement/articleshow/65716448.cms">Communications Compatibility and Security Agreement (COMCASA),</a> which facilitates the sharing of military intelligence with the US. Under the pact, India will be given access to a host of technologies like advanced drones and communication platforms. Of course, since this is an act about the US’s strategy in Asia, China receives significant mention given the government’s fears about China upsetting the current power order in the world. The act highlights the country’s “illegal construction and militarization of artificial features in the South China Sea” as well as its “coercive economic practices,” the latter referring to China’s trade policies, as threats. In a clause that could prove controversial, it also recommends increasing the sale of arms to Taiwan to help defend it from possible incursions by China. The Trump administration’s foreign policy stance has largely been transactional -- ‘Help us and we will help you’. It’s no different with respect to India. The ARIA makes it clear that the US requires India’s help to counter China’s influence in Asia if the two are to become better friends. As 2019 progresses, India will look to the US for a number of concessions, such as the lifting of trade restrictions, a go-ahead for the Chabahar Port project in Iran and an exemption from sanctions for buying a missile shield system from Russia. <keyword id="4741" type="COMPANY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Tokyo">TOKYO</keyword>: <keyword id="6355311" type="COUNTRY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Japan">Japan</keyword> and India agreed on Monday to strengthen strategic ties as Asia's second and third biggest economies keep a wary eye on a rising China, and agreed to accelerate talks on the possible sale of an amphibious aircraft to India's navy. 
 Japanese <keyword id="71" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Prime-Minister">Prime Minister</keyword> <keyword id="590894" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Shinzo-Abe">Shinzo Abe</keyword> and <keyword id="6354477" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Narendra-Modi">Narendra Modi</keyword> also agreed to speed up talks on a so-far elusive deal on nuclear energy cooperation. 
 
"The two prime ministers reaffirmed the importance of defence relations between Japan and India in their strategic partnership and decided to upgrade and strengthen them," Abe and Modi said in a statement after a summit in Tokyo. 
 
The two countries agreed to pursue comprehensive security and defence cooperation, including maritime security. 
 
"Concerning economic matters, we have agreed to move towards a common goal of dramatically increasing Japan's investment in India," Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on the occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Shinzo Abe for inviting him and said he was happy that within 100 days of becoming PM he got the opportunity to visit Japan.

On the nuclear deal, Shinzo Abe said, "I had frank discussion on this issue, we are able to deepen our understanding on both sides."
