The partners in crime perfectly complement each other and remain inseparable till death takes tears them apart and leaves us teary-eyed. 
 
2. <keyword id="6609528" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dil-Chahta-Hai">Dil Chahta Hai</keyword> 
Aakash (Aamir Khan), Sameer (Saif Ali Khan) and Siddharth (Akshaye Khanna) are childhood friends who are out to enjoy their lives. But a lot of unforeseen emotional turmoil changes them forever and give a deeper meaning to their friendship. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, this is a coming-of-age story of three friends whose witty conversation and deep bonding made Dil Chahta Hai one of the best friendship films ever made in Bollywood. 
 
3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 
One of the most popular romantic flicks of Bollywood and Karan Johar’s directorial debut, this one focuses on friendship and its many hues, culminating in love. Rahul and Anjali (Shah Rukh and Kajol) are the best of buddies. They argue, they fight but at the end of the day, they are the best friends who eventually become life partners, proving that they complete each other. Love is friendship – that is what the film has endorsed and the lead duo’s on-screen chemistry has brought that phrase to life. 
 
4. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 
With ‘seize the day’ as its theme, this film tells the story of three friends who try and overcome their fears in the course of a road trip that is enriching for them and entertaining for the viewers. Director Zoya Akhtar has been applauded for bringing out the ‘bromance’ stupendously on screen. The trio, played by Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, walked away with the laurels for making the audience remember their old friends and the carefree days they spent together. A must-watch film on this Friendship Day. 
 
5. Cocktail 
A good friend and his friendship have the power to transform you. That’s what happened in this Homi Adajania movie as the ‘party girl’ Veronica (Deepika Padukone) undergoes a sea change after meeting the meek and docile Meera (Diana Penty). While Veronica gave shelter to homeless Meera, the latter filled her life with love that was missing from her life. A nice chick flick for the day as you sing Chadi mujhe yaari teri aise... jaise daaru desi!

The game has everything from torture to plane hopping stunts and cheekily offensive terms to the R-rated action. Having been in the market since 2013, Rockstar Games has sold around 90 million copies of the game worldwide according to <a href="https://www.marketwatch.com/story/this-violent-videogame-has-made-more-money-than-any-movie-ever-2018-04-06">Marketwatch</a>. Since the game pans across all the platforms, the sales account for all the versions including PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. Not only has GTA V seen massive sales, but it has amassed approximately $6 billion in revenue. The number is impressive enough on it’s own but when you compare it to the revenue generated by our cinematic universe, it really puts things in perspective. GTA V came out in 2013, when Bollywood was releasing movies like <keyword id="227940" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Chennai-Express">Chennai Express</keyword>, Race 2, and Kai Po Che. These were the highest grossing movies that year but even then, Chennai Express, which was ahead of the rest, only managed to generate $67 million in revenue. Even Rohit Shetty’s stunts could not match up to being able fly one plane into another. It’s invariable in the long run as well if you analyse the highest grossing movies in Bollywood overall. Including titles like <keyword id="6358210" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dangal">Dangal</keyword>, <keyword id="3345286" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="secret-superstar">Secret Superstar</keyword>, <keyword id="2411684" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bajrangi-Bhaijaan">Bajrangi Bhaijaan</keyword> and PK, the most they’ve been able to earn is $291 million. Aamir Khan can have all the screen presence in the world but, GTA V’s story pulls you into its darkly comic world. And here’s some more perspective, even evergreen content like Dilwaale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Hum Aapke Hain Kaun have fallen short at around $52 million. What really adds context to the $6 billion dollars generated by GTA V is the fact that despite their popularity and production value, even Hollywood movies don’t measure up. Epic features like Star Wars and Gone with the Wind get left in the dust at $3 billion. The reality of the situation is that GTA has more versions to its name than the Fast and Furious movies, and they’ve been building their fanbase for a long time now. The game operates on the edge of being plausible. But, no matter, the main characters remain relatable through and through. In all honesty, the gaming industry has always been bigger than both Hollywood and Bollywood. Any all-rounding game not only has direction, a narrative, originality and amazing stunts but also something that the film industry can’t provide - they give you a chance be a part of the story.
