The 68<sup>th</sup> annual <keyword id="6362016" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Cannes-film-festival">Cannes Film Festival</keyword>, which starts today in the beautiful city of Cannes, France, is all set to make a lot of headlines, like it has been doing, year after year.<br />
<br /> This year, the world would see not one or two but three Indian beauties walking down the red carpet of the Cannes film festival. All three divas, namely <keyword id="6366471" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aishwarya-Rai">Aishwarya Rai</keyword> Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif would be representing the popular international cosmetic brand, L’Oreal.<br />
<br />
This would be the Cannes debut of Katrina Kaif, as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor have already appeared and represented the brand at the prestigious film festival.<br />
<br />
Katrina Kaif would be walking the red carpet on the first and second day of the festival, which means that she would be gracing the red carpet today and tomorrow.<br />
<br />
For Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who completes 14 years at Cannes this year, the red carpet appearance would be towards the end of the festival, reportedly on 17<sup>th</sup> and 20<sup>th</sup> May.<br />

Sonam Kapoor, for whom this is the 5<sup>th</sup> Cannes appearance, would be showing off her elegance on 16<sup>th</sup> and 18<sup>th</sup> May. <br />
<br />
Talking of movies, there are two Indian feature films that will be screened under the Uncertain Regard section. The first one, titled <em>Masaan</em> has Richa Chaddha in the lead. The movie has been shot in Varanasi, is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and co-produced by Anurag Kashyap. The second movie is Gurvinder Singh's Punjabi movie <em>Chauthi Koot</em>, which is a period drama set in Punjab of the 1980s.<br />

Other than this, there is a short movie to be screened, called <em>Miyan Kal Aana</em>, which is produced by actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and directed by his brother Shams Siddiqui.<br />

Exclusively built for promotional purpose for cosmetic brand L'<keyword id="1518571" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Oreal">Oreal</keyword> <keyword id="106" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Paris">Paris</keyword>, of which the actress is the brand <keyword id="2722" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="ambassador">ambassador</keyword>, the account has twitter handle of Katrina@Cannes.<br />

As per a news report by The Economic Times, Kaif, 31, will be walking the red carpon the first day of the 12-day fest (May 13-24) as the ambassador of cosmetic brand L'Oreal Paris and also be a part of the opening ceremony. <br />

One of the most hotly anticipated parties each year is the exclusive yacht party he holds <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/crazy-facts-about-paul-allens-superyacht-2015-5">on his 414-foot superyacht</a>, "Octopus". Each year has a different elaborate theme: last year, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/paul-allen-cannes-yacht-party-2015-5">it was Bollywood</a>. This time, it was a riff on Shakespeare's classic comedy of romantic errors.</p><p>Lucky guests reportedly included Mick Jagger, Mischa Barton, and Chloe Sevigny, who got to spend the evening sipping champagne aboard Octopus. Along with his fiancée, Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani threw yet another star-studded bash ahead of their nuptials in July — this time on a luxury cruise.</p><p>Pop star Katy Perry performed some of her hit singles, including "Firework," on Friday in Cannes, with clips circulating online.</p><p>Other <a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7oR8xdyb7Y/?igsh=d2JucTRwZXJ2cThm">video clips</a> shared online show The Backstreet Boys and Pitbull took to the stage as part of the pre-wedding festivities.</p><p>The couple and a large group of their guests also stopped over in Portofino, Italy. They took over a plaza where Italian singer Andrea Bocelli performed, Hindustan Times <a target="_blank" href="https://www.hindustantimes.com/entertainment/music/ambanis-shut-down-an-entire-plaza-in-portofino-for-anant-radhika-bash-legendary-singer-andrea-bocelli-performs-watch-101717392459115.html">reported</a>.</p><p>India Today reported that several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, were seen at the party in Italy. Hollywood actor Adam Sandler was also present, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C7vHMN7yurZ/?igsh=MWN0ZHJ1MjVyMnRnNw%3D%3D&amp;img_index=5">photos</a> shared on social media showed.</p><p>The cruise <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/ambanis-throwing-another-pre-wedding-party-cruise-ship-2024-5">set sail last week</a> from Italy to the south of France.
