<ul><li><keyword id="19908621" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="MediaTek" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="MediaTek" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="MediaTek">MediaTek</keyword> has announced that it has joined the <keyword id="21932111" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Arm-Total-Design" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="Arm Total Design" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="Arm Total Design">Arm Total Design</keyword> ecosystem.</li><li>The chipmaker intends to use the <keyword id="21937910" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="arm-neoverse-css" source="keywords">Arm Neoverse CSS</keyword> to boost AI innovation.</li><li>This was announced at the ongoing <keyword id="21495252" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="COMPUTEX-2024" source="keywords">COMPUTEX 2024</keyword> conference in Taiwan.</li></ul> MediaTek announced on Tuesday that it has joined Arm Total Design, an ecosystem that aims to accelerate and simplify the development of products based on Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS). The announcement came at the ongoing COMPUTEX 2024. The Arm Neoverse CSS is designed to meet AI applications' performance and efficiency needs in the data centre, infrastructure systems, telecommunications, and beyond. “We will be working closely with Arm as we expand our footprint into data centres, utilising our expertise in hybrid computing, AI, SerDes and chipsets, and advance packaging technologies to accelerate AI innovation from the edge to the cloud,” said Vince Hu, Corporate Vice President, MediaTek. MediaTek intends to use Neoverse CSS with its SoC integration design capability to deliver differentiated solutions and expedite time to market. Neoverse CSS can be used to deliver optimized SoCs for specific application needs, addressing the complex computing requirements of AI. “AI is driving an insatiable need for more compute and greater power efficiency. By joining Arm Total Design, MediaTek is building on our longstanding partnership, which has delivered billions of high-performance, energy efficient devices, and will bring that world class expertise to infrastructure as we rapidly deliver sustainable, AI-powered cloud data centers on Arm Neoverse CSS,” said <keyword id="21937909" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mohamed-awad" source="keywords">Mohamed Awad</keyword>, senior VP and GM, Infrastructure Line of Business, Arm.
