"The stable value of investments, despite the higher number of transactions, indicates a strategic adjustment towards spreading investments across various sectors, aiming to capitalize on emerging opportunities while mitigating large-scale risks," says the report. "The deal outlook for 2024 continues to remain positive as India stands at the cusp of a new era of growth and investment supported by a growing consumer market, a flourishing tech start-up ecosystem, and supportive government policies," concludes Shanthi Vijetha. The company is recalling the units manufactured between July 21, 2022 and April 30, 2024 to fix the part, data on the SIAM website said. When contacted, a Hyundai company spokesperson said: "At Hyundai Motor India, customer safety is our top priority. The Ioniq 5 recall is a proactive step to inspect and upgrade the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU) in the affected vehicles at no cost to the customers." The company's dedicated teams will be in touch with vehicle owners and guide them through the recall process, the spokesperson said. Price of Ioniq 5 starts at Rs 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Vivo has emerged as a close second with a market share of 18.8% in Q2 2024, up from 17.4% in Q2 2023. The company maintained the second spot. Overall shipments stood at 11,92,577 units in the first quarter the current fiscal year, as compared with 10,32,449 units in the same period of the last fiscal. <keyword id="20163833" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="passenger-vehicle" source="keywords">Passenger vehicle</keyword> exports stood at 1,80,483 units in the first quarter, registering a jump of 19 per cent over 1,52,156 units in the same period last year. <keyword id="19909974" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Maruti-Suzuki" source="keywords">Maruti Suzuki</keyword> India led the space with shipments of 69,962 units in the period under review. It exported 62,857 units in the first quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal. <keyword id="20190176" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Hyundai-Motor" source="keywords">Hyundai Motor</keyword> India exported 42,600 units in the April-June period. SIAM President SIAM Vinod Aggarwal said it is a good sign for the industry that exports have started doing well. "I think that's a very good sign that exports seem to have bottomed out, especially in the commercial vehicle segment... we have started seeing the growth from the first quarter this year," he noted. Till last year, there was a huge drop in the export volume of trucks and buses, he added.
