Businesses in <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword> continue to face significant challenges like the complexity of transformation, lack of talent and limited resources in their journey towards net-zero carbon goals, a report said on Monday. While 24 per cent cite the complexity of the required transformation, 25 per cent point to the lack of talent with expertise in implementing net-zero initiatives, and 23 per cent specify limited resources to support the net-zero initiatives, according to the report by Forrester Consulting on behalf of <keyword id="18635" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="amazon" source="Orion">Amazon</keyword> and non-profit The Climate Pledge. Over 2 in 3 (71 per cent) businesses in India (and 70 per cent of firms across the APAC region) identify collaboration as critical to clearing these roadblocks and achieving their net-zero carbon goals. About 63 per cent say the lack of access to peer networks and cross-sector communities is a top challenge impeding climate collaboration. "The challenges we collectively face on the path to net-zero carbon are considerable and we can't do it alone. The study also found that businesses in India seek to accelerate collaboration most in the areas of renewable energy (52 per cent), nature-based solutions (43 per cent) and decarbonising transport and logistics emissions (41 per cent. According to the study, about a third of businesses in India shared that engaging with ecosystem partners on a strategic level is part of their company's approach to environmental sustainability going forward. Indian cos will face resource and talent challenges towards net-zero goals: Report

He has proudly represented India in many international <keyword id="150" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shooting">shooting</keyword> championships. 
 
Today, as he announced the end of his professional shooting career, let’s have a look at his achievements, and also, difficulties that he overcame to bring his fame to home—India that is. 
 
Set Records, Created History 
· When he was just 15 years of age, Bindra became the youngest participant to participate in the 1998 Commonwealth Games. 
· He won Bronze in the 2001 Munich World Cup, setting a new junior world record score of 597/600. 
· He was all of 18 who represented in the 2000 Olympics game; youngest Indian participant to achieve this feat. 
· In 2001, he won six gold medals at various international meets. 
· At the 2002 Commonwealth Games, he won a Gold medal in the Pairs event with Sameer Ambedkar, and an individual Silver medal. 
· At the 49th ISSF World Shooting Championships, he became the first Indian shooter to win gold in a World Championship. · At the 2006 Commonwealth Games, he won the Gold in the Pairs event with <keyword id="20664" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="gagan-narang">Gagan Narang</keyword> and an individual Bronze. 
· At the 2008 Olympics, he won the gold medal in the Men's 10m Air Rifle event. 
· At the 2010 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony, he didn’t only get the honour of being the flag-bearer for the Indian contingent, but also took the athletes' oath on behalf of the 6,700 participants from 71 countries and territories. 
· He set a record by scoring 1193 in 10m air rifle pair's event for men with Gagan Narang and won India her first Gold. He also won an individual Silver medal. 
· At the 2012 Asian Shooting Championships, he won the Gold medal in the Men's 10-metre Air rifle event. 
· At the 2014 Commonwealth Games, he won Gold medal in the Men’s 10m air rifle singles event. 
· At the 2014 Asian Games, he secured an individual Bronze in Men's 10m Air Rifle. 
· He is the first and as of yet, the only Indian to have held both the World and Olympic titles together. 
 
Had A Tough Road To Fame 
All these achievements didn’t reach him (Bindra) easy. He had to overcome several hurdles, like: 
 
· In the 2000 Olympics, Bindra was placed 11th in the qualification round, and thus couldn’t qualify for the finals. 
· In the 2004 Olympics, he broke the Olympic record but didn’t win a medal. 
· He could not attend the 2006 Asian Games because of a back injury. 
· In the 2012 Olympics, he finished in the 16th place, and didn’t get through the finals. 
 
Some Less-know Facts About Bindra 
Other than being a competent shooter, he also penned his autobiography, which is tited A Shot at History: My Obsessive Journey to Olympic Gold. He co-authored the autobiography with sportswriter Rohit Brijnath. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He also runs a company called Abhinav Futuristics, which is the only Indian distributor of Walther arms, a German arms manufacturer. He is the brand ambassador of Steel Authority of India Limited and is a member of FICCI Sports Committee.

Under the collaboration, Gentari Green Mobility Business will procure and deploy electric vehicles for the company in the next three years besides providing comprehensive fleet management services to the delivery service partners (DSPs) to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of the <keyword id="20475726" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="EV-fleet" source="keywords">EV fleet</keyword>, Amazon India said. The partnership will provide Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) access to more electric three-wheelers for Amazon deliveries, it added. "We aim to empower our delivery service partners by providing them access to the right electric vehicles, end-to-end vehicle life cycle management services, as well as charging and parking facilities," said Abhinav Singh, VP (Operations) at Amazon India. The company deployed more than 7,200 EVs in India at the end of 2023, and it remains well on track to achieve its goal of deploying 10,000 EVs in the domestic market by 2025, he said. Amazon India has operations across 400 cities in the country. "As we work together to deploy more EVs and contribute to India's net zero targets, I'm confident this collaboration will pave the way for a cleaner and electric future for India's transportation sector," said Nikhil Thomas, CEO of Gentari Green Mobility India. Amazon joins TVS Motor Company to scale EV mobility in India

The five new sort centres will be launched in Vishakhapatnam, Farukhnagar, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Apart from these new buildings, the expansion of the existing eight sort centres will increase <keyword id="18635" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> India's overall sortation area to more than 2.2 million square feet, across 19 states. Sort centres are central to Amazon's logistics network and help sort and deliver goods to Amazon delivery stations across the country. "By expanding and investing in the Sort Centre network, we are positioned to ensure continued customer and seller delight, ahead of the upcoming festive season," Abhinav Singh, Director, Amazon Transportation Services, Amazon India, said in a statement. "This expansion will create hundreds of opportunities for individuals and ancillary industries especially during this time when economic growth is a priority for the country." Amazon India uses technology and automation such as Sort Slides and Auto Sorters in its sortation network. Sort Slides allow fast manual sortation of packages and Auto Sorters are completely automated machines that perform end-to-end sorting of packages. This automated and expanded network helps increase the speed of transporting packages for customers and sellers in the country. New Delhi, Apr 27 () E-commerce giant Amazon India on Monday said it has strengthened its partnership with the Indian Railways and has ramped up its operations to 55 lanes in a bid to enable faster deliveries to customers amid the nationwide lockdown. Last year, Amazon India had partnered with Indian Railways for inter-city transportation of e-commerce packages on 13 lanes, and had also set up pickup kiosks for customers in Kolkata and Mumbai. Amazon India will transport consignments via rail across the country and is leveraging the 'COVID-19 Parcel Special Trains' introduced by the Indian Railways to ramp up its operations to 55 lanes during the lockdown period, it said in a statement. Indian Railways with the support of the Railway Board and the zones across Western, Central, Northern, Eastern, South Central, Southern, South Eastern, North East Frontier, North Western and South Western have created a proactive solution to provide support for transportation during lockdown. "This enhanced network will enable sellers in Amazon India's network to ship their products across the country and keep their businesses running, thereby, allowing people to access a more diverse selection of essential products," the statement said. Address structural problems in the nose and mouth</h2>Sometimes snoring is caused by the size and shape of your nose, jaw, tongue, and tonsils. This is when the wall between your nostrils is bent to one side.
