He won the Worli seat with a 26,000 vote margin over his nearest competitor NCP's Suresh Mane. He has secured 87, 453 votes, as per election commission website while his closest competitor Suresh Mane got 21,393 votes. So much so, his party members have already started suggesting his name for the post of deputy CM as Sena and BJP have already started a war of words over portfolios. One of Maharashtra’s youngest candidates, the 29-year-old <keyword id="6380894" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="aditya-thackeray">Aditya Thackeray</keyword> is likely to win his first election, says an exit poll by Times Now. As per the poll, he will conveniently win from the Worli seat that he is contesting. A total of 13 candidates are contesting from the seat across various parties like NCP, BSP along with seven independents. Aditya has been playing an active role before and after campaigning as well. After he cast his vote today, he kept hopping from booth to booth across the city, meeting voters and party workers. He also urged the public to come out and vote in the several interviews he gave today. The son of Uddhav Thackeray and grandson of deceased Sena supremo Bal Thackeray started his career in politics nine years back as the Youth wing leader of the party. He soon rose to become a leader and has contested his first-ever election this time around, fighting from the Worli constituency. The party has strong roots in the Maharashtrian community which lives around Dadar and Worli areas. In fact, the headquarters of the party is located in the same area. His father Uddhav Thackeray who heads the Sena party, recently said that he sees a Sena member becoming the chief minister of the state, one day. Currently, Sena is in alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party which fields the chief ministerial position. Many political pundits and public alike believed that the statement was made to coincide with Aditya’s political debut. But Aditya did not have a smooth ride. He was ridiculed for sporting a lungi, a South Indian attire, as his detractors cited his grandfather’s attacks on South Indian migrants a few decades back. He was also caught on the wrong foot endorsing the BEST bus service, and his refusal to address issues like a toddler slipping down the drain--did not go down well with the social media.

MUMBAI: American <keyword id="6354553" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="real-estate">real estate</keyword> tycoon <keyword id="6354484" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Donald-Trump">Donald Trump</keyword> plans to <keyword id="47916" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="invest">invest</keyword> in the upcoming uber-luxury residential project in Mumbai to which he has lent his name. While the quantum of equity stake is still being negotiated, the move will mark the 68-year-old billionaire’s first investment in India. 
 After two non-starter projects in Mumbai and Bangalore, Trump’s bet on India’s realty sector has finally materialized with the business magnate tying up with <keyword id="45817" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Lodha">Lodha</keyword> Developers for a complex in Worli. “India is a great place to invest, especially after the elections, and this project (Trump Tower) speaks well about the prospects for the country,” said Trump, adding that several Indians reside in his towers globally. Indian rules allow a foreigner to invest $5 million in a joint venture with a three-year lock-in period. 
 Trump earns billions of dollars by licensing his name to various residential and hospitality projects across the world. Besides Lodha’s Trump Tower in Worli, the chairman and president of <keyword id="1002277" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="The-Trump-Organization">The Trump Organization</keyword> has licensed his name to a 22-storey residential complex in Pune, which is being developed by Panchshil Realty. 
 
Trump said that he has been looking at India for many years but it is only now that he found the right partner and the right opportunity. According to him, the partnership with Lodha is like “seeing a beautiful person and falling in love”. “Getting into partnership is like getting into marriage — chemistry is very important,” said Trump. 
 The 75-plus-storey Trump Tower, which entails an investment of Rs 2,300 crore, comprises 3-, 4- and 6-BHK apartments, priced between Rs 9 crore and Rs 18 crore. Already 100 units out of the 300 have been sold, claimed <keyword id="167433" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Abhishek-Lodha">Abhishek Lodha</keyword>, MD of the Rs 8,700-crore Lodha Developers. Non-resident Indians from Hong Kong and the Middle East form a good chunk of the buyers. Lodha expects to earn revenues of up to Rs 5,000 crore from the Worli project.

It also says you might experience changes in mood, and depression.For years women have been telling anecdotes, such as <a href="https://thedebrief.co.uk/news/real-life/side-effects-pill-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">this story in The Debrief</a>, about how they feel their personalities changed after going on the pill. Some of them experience serious mental health problems, which they believe is directly caused by taking hormonal contraception.The scientific evidence was shaky until 2016 when <a href="https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapsychiatry/fullarticle/2552796" target="_blank" rel="noopener">a massive study of over one million people in Denmark</a> found that women taking the combined pill, which contains oestrogen and progestin (progesterone), were 23% more likely to be diagnosed with depression than women who didn't take any pills.Those on progestin-only pills, also called the mini pill, were 34% more likely to be diagnosed with depression.Women who had suffered from mental health problems, such as <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/oct/03/pill-linked-depression-doctors-hormonal-contraceptives" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Holly Grigg-Spall in the Guardian</a>, felt like their worries about the pill had been validated. There was finally scientific research that backed up what a large proportion of women had been saying all along.However, <a href="https://www.nhs.uk/news/2016/09September/Pages/Women-taking-the-contraceptive-pill-more-likely-to-be-depressed.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener">as the NHS states on its website</a>, this type of study can provide possible explanations for the use of contraception and the increase in depression, but it cannot say outright that one causes the other. Due to the inability of scientific studies to cover every possible variable, all the researchers can conclude is that it is possible.A new study, <a href="http://www.contraceptionjournal.org/article/S0010-7824(18)30032-5/pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">published in the journal Contraception</a>, complicates things even further. It is an analysis of 26 studies over 30 years of research, and the conclusion is that progestin pills aren't linked to women developing depression at any age."Depression is a concern for a lot of women when they're starting hormonal contraception, particularly when they're using specific types that have progesterone," said Brett Worly, an obstetrician-gynecologist at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and lead author of the study, <a href="https://news.osu.edu/news/2018/02/26/study-birth-control-depression/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in a statement</a>. "Based on our findings, this side effect shouldn't be a concern for most women, and they should feel comfortable knowing they're making a safe choice."Even for women at high risk, such as those already diagnosed with depression, there was no evidence being on progestin pills made them worse."Adolescents and pregnant moms will sometimes have a higher risk of depression, not necessarily because of the medicine they're taking, but because they have that risk to start with," Worly said. "For those patients, it's important that they have a good relationship with their health care provider so they can get the appropriate screening done - regardless of the medications they're on."The new study looked at large areas and included women with varying access to healthcare. The researchers believe this makes their findings more widely reliable than the Danish study.However, none of the papers in the review were randomly controlled trials - meaning participants probably knew what they were taking. This can cause biases and women reporting incorrect symptoms, particularly if they had read a lot about hormonal contraception before. There were a few papers in the review that found a link between progestin and depression, but the evidence wasn't strong enough to influence the final conclusion.Worly admits this shouldn't be the end of the conversation on contraception. He said patients have valid concerns about their mental health, and they should continue to talk to their doctors about the best option for them.Ultimately, the aim of the research was to put women's minds at ease, and to say that progestin pills are an effective and safe form of contraception for many people - so keep using them."We live in a media-savvy age where if one or a few people have severe side effects, all of a sudden, that gets amplified to every single person," Worly said. "The biggest misconception is that birth control leads to depression.
