<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Pakistan+troops">Pakistani troops</a> resorted to <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ceasefire+violation">ceasefire violation</a> twice overnight and targeted Indian posts and civilian areas by shelling 120 mm mortar bombs along the <keyword id="44759" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Line-of-Control">Line of Control</keyword> in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. 
 
The <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=indian+army">Indian army</a> also retaliated to the shelling. 
 
"Pakistan troops fired from small arms, mortar bombs of 120 mm and 61 mm range on forward posts along the LoC in Sabzian and Balakote sectors in Poonch district overnight,” a defence spokesman informed. 
 
Pakistani troops fired from automatic weapons in Sabzian sector and Balakote sector till this morning. 
 
The spokesman said that the troops effectively retaliated and informed there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the firing. 
 
As per reports, there have been 21 ceasefire violations along the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=India-Pakistan+border">India-Pakistan border</a> in Jammu region this month. 
 
On August 11, the Pakistan Army had resorted to unprovoked firing twice across the LoC in Krishna Ghati Sector of Poonch district and Bhimbhergali sector in Rajouri district on August 10 night. 
 
Last month, there were 19 ceasefire violations in which four persons, including three jawans, were killed and 14 others injured. 
 
This month in August, Pakistani troops targeted forward Indian posts along the LoC in Hamirpur-Balakote, Hamirpur, Krishnagati and Sabzian sectors, possibly to facilitate <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=infiltration">infiltration</a> from across the border. 
 
An army jawan was also injured as Pakistani troops opened fire at villages and forward posts in Poonch district along the LoC on August 7.

In a special review meeting, the board of Reliance Capital took note of views from legal experts and other joint auditors to arrive at the conclusion that it did not violate any laws, as <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/anil-ambani-reliance-capital-auditor-pwc-resigns/articleshow/69750766.cms">alleged by PwC</a>. Reliance Capital’s share price closed the day 2% lower and the board decision was announced after market close. The stock has lost nearly half its value since PwC quit as the auditor nearly two months ago. It’s down over 47% since that day. “The Board also noted that PWC had duly audited the accounts for the financial year 2017 – 2018, as also limited review of financial results of three consecutive quarters ended December 2018, without any qualifications or raising any concerns,” Reliance Capital said in a media release. On June 11, PwC shot off a letter quitting as the statutory auditor of the company alleging that the company disallowed it from making an independent judgment in its report. “The PWC letter is devoid of any rationale or basis and is invalid,” RCap said. In its letter, PwC said, “RCap impaired its independence and hence it is no longer in a position to complete the audit and instead feels compelled to withdraw from the audit engagement and resign.” The dispute started when PwC noted some observations and transactions, which according to its auditor, had to resolved satisfactorily. If not done so, it would be “significant or material” to the financial statements. When it questioned the company, PwC did not receive satisfactory response to its queries. “PWC had chosen not to attend the audit committee meeting on June 12, 2019 despite being invited to do so. It abruptly resigned at the unearthly hour of 4.32 am on June 11,” RCap said in today’s statement. However, PwC is not the only company which had found discrepancies in with the highly indebted Anil Dhirubhai Group. In the very same month of PwC’s exit, Reliance Infrastructure’s auditor said that they did not receive enough evidence to complete the audit. Pathak H D&amp; Associates could not find any ‘evidence’ of Rs 8,858 crore which were listed as receivables and inter-corporate deposits like interests and advances. Anil Ambani’s Reliance Capital gets a clean chit from the Board on audit violations

Four civilians were on Saturday injured when Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rampur sector of Jammu and Kashmir, according to an Army spokesperson. "On 20 June, 2020, in the morning hours, Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC in Rampur sector by firing mortars and other weapons," the spokesperson said. He said four civilians were injured in the Pakistani firing. In another ceasefire violation, Pakistani troops fired mortars and other weapons on Indian posts in Uri sector on Saturday afternoon, the spokesperson said. He said there are no reports of any casualty in the incident. The Army has given a befitting response to the Pakistani aggression in both the sectors, he said. Pakistan ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir leaves four civilians injured

Pakistan continues to violate LoC ceasefire with India for the 5th consecutive day

New Delhi, In a significant development related to war between e-commerce giants and traders of India, the Union Government has directed the Enforcement Directorate and Reserve <keyword id="6355303" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="bank-of-india">Bank of India</keyword> to take necessary action against <keyword id="18635" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword> and Walmart-owned-Flipkart. The Centre has taken strong cognizance of various complaints made by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) for <keyword id="2621917" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="blatant-violation">blatant violation</keyword> of <keyword id="35066" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="fdi-policy">FDI Policy</keyword> and Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999 (FEMA) by these companies. CAIT National President B.C. Bhartia and Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal informed that on several complaints made by the CAIT to Union <keyword id="84" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Commerce">Commerce</keyword> Minister Piyush Goyal in the recent past against Amazon &amp; Walmart-owned-<keyword id="6354742" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Flipkart">Flipkart</keyword>, the Department of Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT) of the Ministry of Commerce in its letter issued on December has asked both Enforcement Directorate and Reserve Bank of India to take necessary action against Amazon and Flipkart. Bhartia and Khandelwal said that in its communication to ED and RBI, the DPIIT has forwarded four complaints of CAIT including violation of FDI policy in deal between Flipkart and Aditya Birla Group, violation of FDI policy related to FDI in manufacturing which is being used for Multi Brand Retailing by various e-commerce companies, violation of FEMA and its rules by Amazon and blatant violation of FEMA and FDI Policy by Amazon and Flipkart and exploitation of loopholes by them. CAIT said that traders across Country will observe Year 2021 as "Bhartiya Vyapaar Samman Varsh" under the aegis of CAIT and all efforts will be made to clean the e-commerce landscape of India and an era of manipulations, mal-practices and exploitation will come to end and the CAIT will promote and encourage traders across Country to adopt digital commerce and digital payments as new instruments to widen the net of business in India. Cairo, The Egyptian government has announced a series of new restrictions to control the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The <a href="https://int.nyt.com/data/documenttools/fortenberry-false-statement-indictment/95fa753d0f8a4801/full.pdf">indictment</a> charged him with one count of "scheming to falsify and conceal material facts" and two counts of making false statements to investigators in connection with an FBI investigation into potential campaign finance violations. Fortenberry is among several lawmakers who investigators said received illegal campaign contributions from the Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire Gilbert Chagoury, violating federal laws banning foreign nationals from donating to political candidates."A number of years ago, some very bad people illegally transferred money into my campaign, along with several other members of Congress," Fortenberry <a href="https://www.3newsnow.com/news/local-news/some-very-bad-people-illegally-transferred-money-into-my-campaign-says-fortenberry">said</a> in October in response to the accusations. "They were caught, they were punished and they've been held accountable, thankfully."According to an FBI affidavit filed earlier this year, the donations went to Fortenberry's campaign in March 2016."I answered their questions. Later, we went back and answered further questions," Fortenberry said in a YouTube <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHcIBNazStw">video</a>. "I told them what I knew and what I understood. They've accused me of lying to them and are charging me with this. We're shocked. We're stunned. I feel so personally betrayed. We thought we were trying to help and so now we will have to fight."Fortenberry has pleaded not guilty to all charges. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Tuesday before US District Judge Stanley Blumenfeld Jr. of Los Angeles.
