The national capital alone has close to 100 tattoo studios and around 300 home-based artists. Soundwave tattoos And a new feather to the cap is the ‘soundwave tattoos’ — which refers to the tattoos that have audio. This latest invention in the world of tattooing was first created by a Los Angeles-based tattoo artist in 2017 and was later adopted by the artists in India. Lokesh Verma, founder of Delhi-based studio <keyword id="8657757" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="devilz-tattooz">Devilz Tattooz</keyword> , which was also the first in India to start the concept of talking tattoos told Business Insider how soundwave tattoos are emerging as a new inking trend. “You can have the messages or sound of your special one and hear it anytime you want. This is more like a coded message which no one else can know; but whenever you feel like hearing their sound you can just scan the tattoo and playback." Given the complexity of the design, tattooing costs between ₹4,000 and ₹10,000 per hour. However, in case of the soundwave tattoos, the cost can go as high as ₹15,000, depending on the length of the audio. The potential market for this technology are enthusiasts who get new tattoos done every few months and those who want something beyond conventional tattoos. Verma, who has clients like Remo D’souza, Taapsee Pannu and Swara Bhaskar, said that there have been instances where people who are not really into tattooing got their soundwave as their first tattoo. “This is because instead of a design they were more interested in the idea behind the technology which allows them to hear the voice of a loved one anytime they want by simply scanning the tattoo with their phone,” he told. “To put it in simple words, it works pretty much the same as your phone scanning a QR code. After scanning the unique soundwave, it redirects to the server where the sound is stored and plays it with the help of an active internet connection,” he explained. Growing demand As India embraces this artform, the demand for training has also witnessed a surge in recent years. The professional studios that extend training and certification in the field charge nearly ₹60,000 to ₹125,000. Devilz Tattooz also offers a 90-day certification course that helps students build artistic skills along with hands-on experience with the tattoo machine. The course costs nearly ₹120,000. While a basic tattooing course would cost nearly ₹65,000. Other inventions in the tattooing industry include black and gray portraits, glowing tattoos, permanent cosmetic procedures like SMP (Scalp MicroPigmentation), microblading and laser tattoo removals among others. Dangal review: Here's what Bollywood's celebrities tweeted about Aamir Khan's film

Although the plots and the genres widely vary, there is one thing in common – all these four movies have turned out to be <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> disasters. 
 
Fugly hit 1,100-plus screens in India and managed to collect Rs 2.95 crore on the opening day in spite of mixed reviews. <keyword id="303" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Director">Director</keyword> Kabir Sadanand was happy, though. “Good 1st day for @FuglyTheFilm, domestic box office collection of 2.95 cr. So guys go out there and watch the film, fight against the Ugly,” Sadanand tweeted on Saturday. The movie netted around Rs 9.5 crore after the first three days (Rs 7.23 crore as per trade figure). Although it had a big release, the movie’s budget is quite low (around Rs 16 crore) and Fugly just might avoid ending up in the red. 
 
But even then, Sadanand’s third outing as a director takes him nowhere near his earlier release <keyword id="30111" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Tum-Milo-Toh-Sahi">Tum Milo Toh Sahi</keyword> (2010). Fugly is all about four close <keyword id="343" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Friends">friends</keyword> – <keyword id="330" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dev">Dev</keyword> (<keyword id="1466941" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mohit-Marwah">Mohit Marwah</keyword>), <keyword id="6815" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Devi">Devi</keyword> (<keyword id="1788525" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kiara-Advani">Kiara Advani</keyword>), <keyword id="1438" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gaurav">Gaurav</keyword> (<keyword id="132330" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="boxer-Vijender-Singh">boxer Vijender Singh</keyword>) and <keyword id="967" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aditya">Aditya</keyword> (<keyword id="1664323" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Arfi-Lamba">Arfi Lamba</keyword>) – living a fast-track life in and around <keyword id="66" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Delhi">Delhi</keyword>. But when the corrupt cop <keyword id="2343896" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="R-S-Chautala">R.S. Chautala</keyword> (<keyword id="4666" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jimmy-Shergill">Jimmy Shergill</keyword>) takes control of their life, the foursome gets entangled in social issues and tries to find solutions, Bollywood ishtyle. The outcome is a wobbly plot that fails to delve into the myriad layers of reality or string together a robust, coherent human drama. At the end, the movie with a mission and a message (it is bound to remind you of <keyword id="3735" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="80" keywordseo="Rang-de-basanti">Rang de Basanti</keyword>) simply ends up in a meaningless mess. 
 
The other four flicks look like box office bombs although 18.11… A code of secrecy endeavours to decode terrorism. And this time, a <keyword id="49316" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Software-engineer">software engineer</keyword> (<keyword id="2343901" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rehal-Khan">Rehal Khan</keyword>) comes to the rescue with a hi-tech alert system and fights off all the baddies. The opening day collection of 18.11 stood at an approx. Rs 15 lakh, but the weekend numbers are not in yet. 
 
 
 
Prakash Saini’s Chal Bhaag tells the tale of three crooks – <keyword id="2333769" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Munna-Supari">Munna Supari</keyword> (<keyword id="109372" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Deepak-Dobriyal">Deepak Dobriyal</keyword>), <keyword id="320578" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Daler-Singh">Daler Singh</keyword> (<keyword id="2249438" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Varun-Mehra">Varun Mehra</keyword>) and <keyword id="6412911" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="bunty">Bunty</keyword> (<keyword id="947916" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tarun-Bajaj">Tarun Bajaj</keyword>). A deadly game of hide and seek with the police begins after they are charged with a political murder and in the process, you get a chilling glimpse of fake encounters and other atrocities. But the movie fails to retain the momentum or the irreverent, light-hearted tone that would have made it a well-rounded <keyword id="530399" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Black-Comedy">black comedy</keyword>. Official numbers are not in yet, but according to industry insiders, nett collection of the first three days has fallen well below Rs 1 crore. 
 
And the same holds true for the other two movies – Machhli Jal Ki Rani Hai and Unforgettable. Both are box office washouts although Machhli may hook the horror movie fans. As expected, the plot is a cliché where <keyword id="173" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ayesha">Ayesha</keyword> and Uday (<keyword id="437076" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Swara-Bhaskar">Swara Bhaskar</keyword> and <keyword id="344170" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bhanu-Uday">Bhanu Uday</keyword>), a happy couple, fall prey to <keyword id="589050" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Paranormal-Activities">paranormal activities</keyword>. It has all the usual trappings to get you <keyword id="843642" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="spooked">spooked</keyword>, including an act of exorcism for a climax. On the other hand, Unforgettable features the eternal love triangle, with <keyword id="23365" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Iqbal-Khan">Iqbal Khan</keyword>, <keyword id="551555" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alka-Verma">Alka Verma</keyword> and <keyword id="276456" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Hazel-Crowney">Hazel Crowney</keyword> in the lead roles. This is another <keyword id="2076872" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Box-office-bomb">box office bomb</keyword> that could not garner more than Rs 20 lakh on Day I and then sank into oblivion. As it is a high-budget movie and shot at the UAE, it is quite likely that Unforgettable would not be able to cover the costs.

Supporting actresses have been a part of Bollywood for as long as you can remember and more often than not, they have acted their hearts out in a way that people are not likely to forget. Many of them come from a theatre background and have strong acting calibre. So we think they will be equally impressive in carrying off a lead role.

What might come as a shocker is that Shahana Goswami has been around for more years than you can remember. Her first outing was in Zoya Akhtar’s Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., when she was just 20. To date, she has several laudable performances to her credit, including her most memorable role of Debbie in Rock On, the role that won her Filmfare Best Actress (Critics) award, a first for any supporting actress. <keyword id="582713" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aanand-L-Rai">Aanand L Rai</keyword>, who has given several <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> hits like Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhanaa and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Tanu-Weds-Manu-Season-2-Will-It-Be-Able-To-Recreate-The-Magic/articleshow/45135824.cms">Tanu Weds Manu Returns</a>, has always believed in the power of story and not stars. This is why he has never banked on casting just superstars, but only good talent in his films, making several names like Deepak Dobriyal, Swara Bhaskar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub famous with their roles and acting skills. 
 
However, this doesn’t mean that the man would never take a huge superstar in any of his movie, which is why he has now announced casting the king of Bollywood, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Shah-Rukhs-just-got-sued/articleshow/51224833.cms">Shah Rukh Khan</a>, in his next movie. 
 
Not only this, Rai has also confirmed that Khan would be playing a dwarf in the movie, something which no mainstream actor has done in Bollywood in a long time. What comes to mind when we think of Bollywood actor playing a dwarf is when Kamal Haasan played one in the 1989 movie Appu Raja, for which he received a lot of critical acclaim. 
 
"He is a gutsy actor. He always takes challenges. It is a delight to have him in the film. We both have liking for each other. We want to work together and we are on that process. Shah Rukh is a very intelligent man. He makes you feel so important and responsible so it is fun to work with him. He was very happy to hear the story," Rai told PTI. 
 
Rai also said that the movie would be high on romance and songs, since it would be foolish on his part to have the king of romance in his movie and not make him romance his leading lady, the actress for which is yet to be finalised. As for Shah Rukh, looks like a string of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/ItsDilwale-vs-Bajirao-Mastani-as-Shah-Rukh-Khan-starrer-bags-Rs-100-Crores-worldwide/articleshow/50267619.cms">commercially successful</a> but critically panned movies, he is really <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Fan-will-be-Shahrukhs-redemption-Watch-thetrailer-to-know-why/articleshow/51205859.cms">trying hard for redemption</a>.

Shah Rukh Khan roped in to play a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s next

<keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword> has had a special relationship with <keyword id="40284" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="rajshri">Rajshri</keyword> Films ever since he first tasted success with Maine Pyar Kiya, their first collaboration together, and became a star overnight. Since then, he has appeared in a number of Rajshri films, and his upcoming movie <keyword id="2133234" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Prem-Ratan-Dhan-Payo">Prem Ratan Dhan Payo</keyword> is his fourth film with the production house. The previous ones were: Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, and Hum Saath Saath Hain. 
 In all these movies, like every other movie directed by <keyword id="146044" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sooraj-Barjatya">Sooraj Barjatya</keyword>, the name of the male lead was Prem, and this time, the name has also found its way into the movie title itself. 
 
The trailer of the movie was launched today, and it looks like this is the most expensive film Barjatya’s have made till date. 
 
Talking of the trailer, it takes us to what looks like a rajwara, where the royal family still lives in a haveli and wears traditional clothes with embellishments and headgears. Prem is probably the eldest of the family, <keyword id="3795" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Neil-Nitin-Mukesh">Neil Nitin Mukesh</keyword> plays his younger brother and a debutant girl plays their sister. <keyword id="710" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sonam-Kapoor">Sonam Kapoor</keyword>, who plays Salman’s love interest, can be seen dancing to the title track, and we also catch glimpses of Swara Bhaskar, Anupam Kher, Deepak Dobriyal and Armaan Kohli. 
 
The cinematography of the movie definitely makes it look grand and the music reminds you of the 90’s, but we can’t guess anything about the plot of the story with the first trailer. Neil’s character looks like it would turn negative, and it’s a safe bet to say that there would be a lot of tears and melodrama in the second half of the movie, as has been the case with almost all the Rajshri movies till date.

<ul><li>When we say, ‘Jaago Re,’ do you also hum the entire tune? </li><li>Here is the saga behind one of the most loved social-led campaigns of our country that Sushant Dash, President, Beverages– India &amp; Middle East, TATA Consumer Products, Amer Jaleel, Group CCO and Chairman, <keyword id="3222480" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="MullenLowe-Lintas-Group">MullenLowe Lintas Group</keyword> and Puneet Das – SVP, Marketing - Beverages, TATA Consumer Products walk us through.</li></ul>Tata Tea, for more than a decade, has remained synonymous with brand-led activism because of its campaign Jaago re. Over the years, Jaago Re has nudged us towards social awakening. The brand has used this property to catalyse change around important issues like women safety, representation of women, voting, corruption, etc. It was born in 2008 when Tata Tea decided to onboard MullenLowe Lintas as its agency on record for the brand. The campaign was launched at a time when Indian brands were still trying to understand the idea of brand activism and advertising in the tea category was limited to functional aspects of refreshment. Tata Tea started the trend of looking beyond the obvious by offering a tea that doesn’t just help you wake up, but also awakens you by focusing on self-actualization, increased civic consciousness and political awareness. We reached out to the team (Sushant Dash, President, Beverages– India &amp; Middle East, TATA Consumer Products, Amer Jaleel, Group CCO and Chairman, MullenLowe Lintas Group and Puneet Das – SVP, Marketing - Beverages, TATA Consumer Products) behind this initiative to pick their brains about this much talked-about campaign that continues to stay relevant even after all these years. <div type="Video" msid="80884312" hostid="261" title="How Tata Tea's communication has evolved from brand-led activism to hyperlocalisation" dataSource="BUSINESSINSIDER" thumbUrl="https://denmark.timesinternet.in/cmslite/api/app/images.jpg?msid=80884312"></div> Jaago Re helped a newly-launched premium brand become synonymous to the category. In the age of digital marketing, agency Lintas and Client Tata Tea Premium share one of the longest relationships in our industry. We also asked them to share a few tips of sustaining the relationship between client and agency, how to evolve with changing times and they didn’t disappoint. The beginning of Jaago Re The partnership of Lintas and Tata Tea started much before Jaago Re. It was in 2003 that the brand decided to foray into the premium segment by launching Tata Tea Gold. Back then, Lintas wasn’t in the picture. Tata Tea had a couple of agencies for its roaster but Dash, who Jaleel refers to as the ‘Architect of the brand,’ told us that they were looking to weave a story and build it on an insight this time, not just sell tea. The brand decided to go out and call a few more agencies in for a pitch. R Balki and Jaleel presented the ‘Na kahoge toh pachtaoge’ idea on a phone call to Dash, which he says, is his favourite till date. Even then, Lintas was handling communication for Tata Tea Gold, not Tata Tea Premium. Rival tea brands with a variety of products had different campaigns for each but Dash decided to market only the mother brand. It had four sub-brands Gold, Premium, Agni and Life. “From a marketing point of view, it was a risky decision and obviously came under a lot of debate. But at that time, the main reason from a business point of view was also that we needed to save our media monies. It was also very difficult to sustain and grow all four brands and put the kind of media monies that were required. So, the idea was that you create the mother brand, and then put more money behind the mother brand, advertising and campaign. The idea in the brief was that it should help each of the individual brands. It also said that we need to create a mother brand, which needs to connect at an emotional level and needs to cut through all the variants,” recalled Dash. It also had to carve a niche for itself and beat the likes of HUL’s Brooke Bond Red Label and Taj Mahal, which had a strong recall for its ads, thanks to the famous Waah Taj ad featuring tabla maestro Zakir Hussain. However, the brief didn’t mention anything about cause marketing or a social campaign. It was divided into three main objectives: establish the mother brand, cut across different verticals and get coffee-loving millennials to be loyal to tea. Walking us through the brief and sharing the challenge that the agency had to face in terms of drafting a campaign for a diverse audience, Dash said, “The challenge for the creative agency was to find a cause that appeals to someone in a South Bombay or a South Delhi who uses Tata Tea Gold brand and at the same time, appeal to someone in a Pratapgarh who uses Tata Tea Agni brand because that was our width. We cut through urban and rural. So the third part of the brief was that when we talk and when we come out with this campaign, at least in terms of storytelling and in terms of the language that we use, it should appeal to the youth, because till that point Tea was seen as appealing only to the housewife, not so much to the youth or to men.” At that time, coffee drinkers were considered ‘cool’ because tea was preferred by mid-age audience. As per the brief, Jaleel and his team had to reverse the image and also position tea drinkers as young and cool. The agency was right to think that the coming generation would actively participate in building an inclusive and woke society. Recounting how the thinking came into place and how a tea brand chose a purpose-led brand building approach, Jaleel said, “Somewhere, this thought entered our mind that whenever you have a tea, you discuss various things, and you're young, and you want to change the world. And therefore, if tea is associated with changing the world like that, if it can bring about some kind of awareness, that would be a good strategic direction for tea and that's how we landed on the idea of Jaago Re.” The client was looking for an idea that would bind different strata of society together and Lintas’ pitch ticked all the right boxes. “I still remember when we first heard the line, 'Har subah sirf utho mat, Jaago Re.' It in some ways redefined and gave us that stature, because every tea brand and including us, we used to talk a lot about rejuvenation. But this was actually taking it in a sense philosophically a step ahead, which was not just about waking up, but awakening. So in some ways, it was very strongly ingrained in terms of what the category stood for, but took your brand to a higher plane,” shared Dash. Taking the message ahead The first ad under the campaign was about political awareness, voting the right candidate and asking questions. The brand knew how to walk the talk as the initiative was backed with a website <a href="http://www.jaagore.com/">jaagore.com.</a> Before the 2009 election, Tata Tea launched this website to help first-time voters to create IDs, register themselves as voters and find the nearest voting booth. The Jaago Re campaign had become a big hit by 2010 and Lintas had to come up with a cause that would surpass the previous ads by creating something bigger. Like always, it gave us goosebumps and made us question everything that was happening around us. It was a comment on arm-chair activism. It urged people to act before it is too late in a hard-hitting manner and it continues to stay relevant today. <div type="Youtube" id="gRA4wYsqA5c" title="Tata Tea Official 2017 Ad - Alarm Bajne Se Pehle Jaago Re!" thumbUrl="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/gRA4wYsqA5c/mqdefault.jpg"></div> Das said reviving a property of this stature wasn’t an easy task. “Jaago Re is not just a marketing campaign for us, it's almost a clarion call for representing the right issues. The tenants of Jaago Re are so well set -- there has been a lot of consistency in the thought which has come across, which is about finding the right thing, inspiring people to make that change and walk the talk. In 2006, nobody had heard the word cause advertising and all this brand purpose is just flavor of the day. But at that time, for us, it was clutter breaking. Over the 10 years, many brands jumped into the bandwagon. More importantly, the entire new generation has also grown up expecting this now from brands. So it was no longer about armchair activism. So the idea was, how do you still stay consistent with the thought, but taking to the next level? Then this thought came about is that the key shift is from activism to pre-activism. Don't let things become issues. The real way to solve for them is to actually nip them in the bud and that shift in thinking is what we call Jaago Re 2.0,” said he. Jaago Re and its perfect casting Tata Tea’s Jaago Re was much ahead of its time. It shed various gender filters and brought a much-needed campaign that represented women in politics and sports. Lintas also had a good eye for budding talent. It featured Pankaj Tripathi, Swara Bhaskar, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, Anand Tiwari, to name a few, much before they had become names to reckon with in the industry. <div type="Youtube" id="hAEV1K8JuV4" title="Tata Tea Premium -- Badi Duty, Choti Duty" thumbUrl="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/hAEV1K8JuV4/mqdefault.jpg"></div> Telling us the filter agency used for casting these actors, Jaleel said, “I think it's a coincidence that some of the great choices that we made also turned out to be great actors. But you can also say that it's no coincidence, and I'll tell you why it is that look. The approach that we always had about Jaago Re was always about realism. And if you notice, there is a wave of realism happening, you can almost track it back to the time Jaago Re started. Even in cinema, starism is going down and realism is coming in. We always had that thing about Jaago Re that we will pick up real people because we owe it to the subject that we are talking about. Das answered, “Jaago Re has been a campaign for the mother brand and this hyper localization campaign that we have been doing is actually on the flagship brand Tata Tea Premium. What we are bringing out to consumers is something that is seeming like localization for them, but actually that has been one of the success DNA of the brand in the sense in a in a country where tastes and preferences especially when it comes to food etc, pretty much changes district by district -- it is very important for a beverage brand and a mass brand to understand these preferences, and and that has actually been always what already premium has been doing. It has blend across different states, which cater to the local tastes, preferences, etc. So, the idea was, how do you leverage your knowledge and your national stature as a brand, but at the same time connect and reinforce your regional expertise that has made you the brand it is.” It has also launched packaging that is customised to different states of India and seen a good response from the consumers. “In every market that we have been able to execute it so far, we have seen a big jump in terms of consumer connect, and it's also reflecting in the market shares, etc, which, at the end is also a proof of what the consumer has responded to, but yes, the shift is, is more to the consumers,” shared Das. The Jaago Re campaign went on to create wonders for the brand and is still fresh in our minds like it was launched yesterday. And now, on connecting with its consumers on a local level and instilling regional pride, the brand is just getting started.
