As it is entirely an OFS, the company won’t receive any funds and all the funds raised will go to Hyundai Global. The majority of [our customers] — I actually don't know the reason, but I think it's much simpler — they're choosing to cover the drugs with lifestyle support alongside," Duffy said.<h2 id="d2408f5d-2923-4e91-b037-e2b5136c8d9c">The fraught market for Ozempic</h2>While dozens of healthtech companies, from <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/weightwatchers-ceo-out-ozempic-weight-loss-drugs-2024-9">WeightWatchers</a> to <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/ro-weight-loss-program-insurance-delays-wegovy-shortage-2023-6">Ro,</a> have rushed to build online programs to prescribe Ozempic and Wegovy, as well as <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/hims-and-hers-cheap-weight-loss-drugs-stock-soaring-2024-5">compounded versions of the weight-loss drugs</a>, Omada doesn't prescribe GLP-1s itself. They've been called "adult sippy cups," the modern version of Beanie Babies, and become a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/stanley-cups-tearing-apart-gen-alpha-middle-schools-2024-1">middle-school status symbol</a>.In just a handful of years, Stanley has gone from a brand popular among blue-collar workers and outdoor recreationists to one with a huge audience of millennial mom fans. Recently its 40-ounce stainless steel Quenchers, which start at $45, have become <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/stanley-cup-quencher-collector-parents-buy-status-symbol-teen-tiktok-2024-1">a must-have among Gen Alphas</a> and the TikTok generation.Here's how the 121-year-old brand transformed in the space of a few years to target a completely new demographic and, with it, brought in booming sales.<h2>For more than 100 years, Stanley targeted men</h2>The brand was founded by William Stanley Jr, who patented his steel, vacuum-walled bottles in 1913. Born in Brooklyn in 1858, Stanley was an inventor who was granted <a target="_blank" href="https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/1245790">over 100 patents</a>.For more than 100 years, Stanley's bottles, designed to keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold, were targeted at laborers as well as outdoor enthusiasts like hikers and campers. The Buy Guide — a blog and Instagram account by sisters Ashlee LeSueur and Taylor Cannon, as well as their cousin Linley Hutchinson — highlighted the products to its readers back in 2017. LeSueur had bought one at a Bed, Bath and Beyond store, quickly became enraptured, and <a target="_blank" href="https://thebuyguide.com/home/the-story-of-the-cup/">gifted</a> them to friends and family."Of all the insulated cups... this is the one," The Buy Guide wrote on <a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BbnA7QOB72f/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=56a7a21b-2a97-4b7c-b5d6-009b6daa4597">Instagram</a> in November 2017. "Just trust.""Every time we linked it, it would sell out so quickly," LeSueur told <a target="_blank" href="https://www.nytimes.com/2022/05/17/style/stanley-tumbler.html">The New York Times</a>. "We got so many pictures from teachers who all have them in their classrooms and from nurses stations with cups overflowing in different colors, and we knew we were onto something."The bloggers <a target="_blank" href="https://thebuyguide.com/home/the-story-of-the-cup/">gifted one</a> to reality-TV star Emily Maynard. After Maynard posted about getting the Quencher from The Buy Guide, a Stanley sales manager put the blog's founders in touch with company leadership in spring 2019.Later that year, when Stanley stopped restocking the product on its website, LeSueur urged the company to keep producing Quenchers. But instead, Stanley suggested that The Buy Guide made a wholesale order to sell the tumblers directly to its readers, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/23/how-a-40-ounce-cup-turned-stanley-into-a-750-million-a-year-business.html">CNBC</a> reported.So LeSueur placed an order for 5,000 Quenchers. The Buy Guide had to pay for warehouse space and shipping and handling fees, but was allowed to keep the profits, The Times reported."It was a big risk," LeSueur told CNBC. "It took every penny that we had in the business account, plus some personal funds to make that happen." But the cups sold out within days.The Buy Guide placed another wholesale order for 5,000 – and they sold out in an hour, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.retaildive.com/news/stanley-quencher-tumblers-viral-success/699416/">Retail Dive</a> reported.Stanley agreed to restart Quencher sales on its website and in a wider range of colors in exchange for The Buy Guide promoting the products, The Times reported. And we were right."<h2>People have scrambled to buy limited-edition Quenchers at Target</h2>The tumblers are largely available in block pastel colors, though brighter and sparkly versions are available. Some have patterns etched into them, and they're available in a variety of sizes. The Quenchers were the most-featured item in Gen Z Christmas-haul videos on TikTok, Casey Lewis, a youth consumer-trends analyst, previously told <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/stanley-cup-trend-gen-z-peaked-what-is-next-2024-1">Business Insider</a>. Over the next two years, the company plans to open five more Stanley Level Next outlets with an investment of Rs 20 crore, a statement said.Besides, it would also expand its omni-channel mid-segment furniture outlets - 'Sofas &amp; More', from seven to 50 stores with an investment of Rs 50 crore. The company is also planning for an IPO by FY2024."Stanley plans to expand its 3.5 Lakh sq ft manufacturing facility in Bangalore, with an additional 2 lakh sq ft to meet the growing demand and looks to increase its employee base from 1,200 to 5,000 in the next five years," it added.The company has commissioned two new factories in 2019, one for kitchen and wardrobes and the other for premium mattress and bedding, with an investment of Rs 15 crore."Stanley group aims to achieve Rs 700 crore sales by FY25 from its current sales of Rs 360 crore," it said. Morgan Stanley has said that the stocks have peaked and the returns may not be as exciting in the next 3-6 months. Rising inflation both in the US and India may hurt Indian stock markets. The analysts at Morgan Stanley said that they expect the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to increase interest rates in February 2022. Inflation has been a cause of concern for many companies this earnings season including consumer goods giants — including Marico, Nestle, Hindustan Unilever, Britannia and Parle to name a few ⁠— that may have to pass on more price hikes if inflation remains high. In fact, consumer product companies are <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/retail/news/profit-margin-of-britannia-declines-in-q2-of-fy-2022/articleshow/87600806.cms">unable to hike prices</a> to cover the entire rise in costs and that has led to shrinking margins for many. The risk of a mutant virus that is resistant to vaccines is the biggest downside risk, as it might leave the government no choice but to roll out new mobility restrictions, say analysts at UBS. More restrictions would mean several pockets of the economy would be forced to halt physical operations leading to slowdown in economic activity. What could turn the tide in India’s favour? A correction in the market typically means either a fall in prices or they remain stagnant or rangebound for a while. The latter is also called ‘time correction’. But there could be other factors that could come into play too. For instance, India has been pushing to get its bonds included in the global indices. UBS emerging markets strategist Rohit Arora has said that it is possible in early 2022 while Bloomberg has noted that these decisions are usually announced in September. If it happens, India could see a foreign fund inflow of $15-20 billion and that could be a big mover for the equities too. <div type="image" title="FII" height="900" width="1200" msid="87667318" hostid="261"></div> What is a global bond index?
