The shares of television channel company New Delhi Television Ltd (<keyword id="6420486" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="ndtv" source="Orion">NDTV</keyword>) on Wednesday hit the upper circuit at the bourses with the change of guard at the promoter's holding company <keyword id="7773953" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="rrpr-holding" source="Orion">RRPR Holding</keyword> Private Ltd. At the <keyword id="35140" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="bse" source="Orion">BSE</keyword>, the NDTV scrip opened at Rs 447.70 (upper limit) after closing at Rs 426.40 on Tuesday. With the Adani group acquiring a 99.5 per cent stake in RRPR Holding, the latter's original promoters <keyword id="360054" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="prannoy-roy" source="Orion">Prannoy Roy</keyword> and <keyword id="213943" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="radhika-roy" source="Orion">Radhika Roy</keyword> resigned as Directors, the NDTV said on Tuesday. The company also said it was informed by the promoter group vehicle RRPR Holding that the latter's board approved the appointment of Sudipta Bhattacharya, Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvarayan as Directors with immediate effect. The RRPR Holding owns a 29.18 per cent stake in NDTV, which has three national television channels. The Adani group has also made an open offer to acquire an additional 26 per cent stake in NDTV at a price Rs 294 per share. The Prime Minister on Sunday reprimanded his party members for making inappropriate and inaccurate statements every time they see a camera. This slap on the wrist came a day after Union minister <keyword id="6344967" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="santosh-ganwar">Santosh Ganwar</keyword>’s controversial statement that “In a nation as big as India, one or two incidents of rape should not be hyped.” This comment was quick to draw criticism and he, in turn, blamed the media for ‘twist(ing)’ his statement. Here’s a refresher course on some of the other comments made in the recent past by BJP party members that might have nudged the Prime Minister to make the above statement. <ol><li>Tripura Chief Minister <keyword id="3595308" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="biplab-deb">Biplab Deb</keyword> insists Internet existed in the days of Mahabharata. Here’s the <a href="https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/internet-existed-in-the-days-of-mahabharata-tripura-cm-biplab-deb/articleshow/63803490.cms?utm_source=AMPusers&amp;utm_medium=fbshare&amp;utm_campaign=socialsharebutton&amp;from=mdr">statement</a>: "India has been using internet since ages. In Mahabharata, Sanjay was blind but he narrated what was happening in the battlefield to Dhritarashtra anyway. This was due to internet and technology. Satellite also existed during that period." A day after this comment was made, the state’s Governor <keyword id="866788" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tathagata-Roy">Tathagata Roy</keyword> backed Biplab Deb’s theory by <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/governor-tathagata-roy-backs-biplabs-mahabharata-remark/articleshow/63823137.cms">saying</a>, “Tripura Chief Minister’s observations about the happenings of the Puranic period are topical. It is virtually impossible to conceive of devices like ‘Divya drishti’, Pushpaka Ratha’, etc without some kind of prototype and study thereon”. </li><li>Junior Education Minister Satyapal Singh rubbishes Darwin’s theory of evolution. Here’s what he had to <a href="https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/junior-education-minister-satyapal-singh-says-charles-darwin-wrong-nobody-saw-ape-turn-into-human-1802617">say</a>: "Darwin's theory (of evolution of humans) is scientifically wrong. It needs to change in school and college curriculum. Ever since humans came to Earth, they have always been humans." He went on to say, "Nobody, including our ancestors, have said or written that they ever saw an ape turning into a human being. No book we have read or the tales told to us by our grandparents had any such mention."</li><li>BJP leader S Ve Shekher shared a Facebook post titled “Madurai University, Governor and the Virgin Cheeks of a Girl.” This was in <a href="https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/s-ve-shekher-booked-fb-post-case-against-journos-who-pelted-stones-his-house-79991">response</a> to when the Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit inappropriately patted a woman journalist on the cheek. The rest of the post read: “I feel pity while looking at that woman journalist. She claims she was disturbed because the governor touched her. But when you read her tweets, it is understood that her intention was to target the Governor and Modi. It is actually the governor who has to wash his hands with Phenoyl after touching her. These (TN media persons) are cheap and disgusting creatures. Most people who work in the media in TN are usually Illiterate, cheap and don’t have any general knowledge. This woman is not any different.” </li><li>BJP MP <keyword id="6462806" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vinay-Katiyar">Vinay Katiyar</keyword> believes Muslims have "no business" to be in India. They divided the country on the basis of their population. There is no need for them to stay in this country. They got a separate land. They should go to Bangladesh or Pakistan. Two <keyword id="6359674" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="IIT-Roorkee">IIT Roorkee</keyword> batchmates have returned to the campus five years after graduating from the college to start a café called Sattiviko Idea Café. You may call it their way of paying back to the college which it is, but more importantly, the duo wants GenNext to get inspired and feel encouraged to start their own businesses. It is for this reason <keyword id="2741713" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Prasoon-Gupta">Prasoon Gupta</keyword> and <keyword id="633617" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ankush-Sharma">Ankush Sharma</keyword>’s venture is not simply a restaurant, but an innovation/incubation center of sorts. It's a place for students to interact and exchange ideas with former graduates/seniors/mentors while sitting across the food tables savouring some delicious food in between their classes. 
	 
	This idea cafes will see mentoring sessions by a group of over 300 entrepreneurs and professionals like InMobi co-founder Mohit Saxena, Commonfloor founder Sumit Jain, and Raman Roy, chairman of Quattro BPO Solutions among others.

	 
	For their noble deed, the duo has got 2,200 sq/ft space inside the campus, and that too at a very cheap rent. 

	 
	Their vedic journey started back in February 2014 when Prasoon had quit his five year old venture Tech-buddy, a consultancy firm, and opened an NGO called Swarajneeti with the sole purpose of educating the modern generation for transparency in democratic India via innovative technological tools. 
	 Post elections, however, he decided to devote all his time to his new venture <keyword id="2241713" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sattviko">Sattviko</keyword>, along with his batchmate Ankush Sharma. 
	The start-up was inspired by the sattvik way of life that emphasized purity and served cuisine from India. But soon after some time, they adopted cuisines from across the world, such as Mexican, Italian and American that conform to certain rules - no onions or garlic! 

	 
	Sattviko started as a quick-service restaurant and then evolved over the years to become an e-marketplace, delivering an exceptional experience to customers who look to adopt yoga and its practices.

	 It currently has two outlets in Delhi and one in Gurgaon which cater to approximately 500 people. Sattviko raised Rs 2 crore as seed funding last year, in a round led by online real estate portal CommonFloor co-founder Sumit Jain, Xerox India Non-Executive Director <keyword id="116474" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rajat-Jain">Rajat Jain</keyword>, and <keyword id="10591" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Samsung">Samsung</keyword> executive <keyword id="358198" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sanjay-Bhasin">Sanjay Bhasin</keyword>. 
	Both the young founders have big dreams for Sattviko. They want to take their baby to become a 100-crore plus company in the next few years. We were really thrilled and excited about it, but all we got was high dosage of melodrama. 
 
Aishwarya plays Anuradha Verma, a Mumbai-based top-notch lawyer who is also a single mother to her daughter Sanaya. When Sanaya gets abducted by the group of goons who want Anuradha to defend a criminal and make him walk free from a murder and rape case, Anuradha has to make a choice between fighting against the justice and fighting for it. 
 
Last seen in Guzaarish (2010), in the role of a nurse, Aishwarya has been away from the screen for a long time now; however, that has not steered her away from being one of the most prominent actresses of all times. In Jazbaa though, at least in the first trailer, we have to say that she disappoints. 
 
There is something that’s not right in the way she shouts after coming to know of her daughter’s abduction, and runs to save her. We certainly think that Aishwarya, who’s a good actress as proven in a lot of movies, and has become a mother in real life as well, could have done a lot better than shouting a name that lasts longer than it should. Even in the last scene where she slaps the convict in anger, she doesn’t look convincing.

Jazbaa Official Trailer: A Tad Too Dramatic For A Thriller

Reliance and its partner bp Plc currently produce around 30 mmscmd or about 30 per cent of India's gas production, from the KG-D6 block. At an investors' call announcing the fourth quarter earnings, Sanjay Roy, senior vice-president for exploration and production at <keyword id="19896380" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Industries" source="keywords">Reliance Industries</keyword> Ltd, said the development plan for incremental production has been approved by the government. "One good aspect of this quarter gone by was that we had an incremental development plan approved by the government, which has the potential to deliver incremental production of 4 to 5 million standard cubic meters (per day) in the coming few years, which would augment the production that we have," he said. He, however, did not give details of the investment approved. Reliance-bp produces some 30 mmscmd of gas from three sets of discoveries in the deep-sea KG-DWN-98/3 or KG-D6 block, the last - MJ oil and gas field - being put into production in May 2023. All three sets of discoveries, with MJ being the deepest, were made more than a decade back and have been progressively put into production. Prior to that, they had brought the R-Cluster field to production in December 2020 and the Satellite Cluster in April 2021. KG-D6 has helped domestic production of natural gas, which is used to generate electricity, make fertilizer or turned into CNG for running automobiles or piped to kitchens for cooking, touching a multi-year high of 99 mmscmd. Total gas demand in the country is around 188 mmscmd, with the difference being met through imports. "When we look at the (domestic) production, we can see clearly there's been a sharp increase in production since FY21. And although the overall domestic production, besides KG-D6, has been flat, KG-D6 production is almost 90 per cent of the incremental domestic gas production," Roy said. Reliance is the operator of the KG-D6 block with a 66.67 per cent stake and bp holds the remaining 33.33 per cent. Reliance has so far made 19 gas discoveries in the KG-D6 block. Of these, D-1 and D-3 -- the largest among the lot -- were brought into production in April 2009, and MA, the only oilfield in the block, was put into production in September 2008. While the MA field stopped producing in September 2018, output from D-1 and D-3 ceased in February 2020. Since then, Reliance-bp invested USD 5 billion in bringing to production three deepwater gas projects in block KG-D6 -- R-Cluster, Satellites Cluster, and MJ. The MJ field is located about 2,000 metres directly below the Dhirubhai-1 and 3 (D1 and D3) fields. It is a high-pressure and high-temperature (HPHT), gas and condensate field. This is the view held by five brokerage firms — ICICI Securities/Direct, Motilal Oswal, Prabhudas Lilladher and ShareKhan. They believe that good movies can help them replicate the March success which came with superhits like the controversial Kashmir Files; Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Gangubai Kathiawadi, followed up by KGF 2 in April. “They witnessed a March — which was the best ever in the history, led by superlative performances of movies,” ICICI Direct said in its views on PVR and INOX both. The March footfalls made up for half of the Jan-March quarters footfalls in theaters. But both these companies need more than a good month to turn things around.
