The impossible might just happen in 2016. By the end of the year, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=salman+khan&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Salman </a>Khan might not single (or a virgin) anymore. 
 If reports are to be believed, Khan is all set to marry his Romanian girlfriend, <keyword id="772608" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Iulia-Vantur">Iulia Vantur</keyword> on December 27 this year which incidentally also happens to be the actor’s 51st birthday. 
 
Khan made his first public appearance with rumoured girlfriend of six years recently at <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=preity+zinta&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Preity </a><a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=preity+zinta&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Zinta’</a>s wedding reception, which was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. 
 
 
 
Their joint appearance after years of stoic silence regarding their relationship was more than enough to set the rumour mills buzzing about the couple wanting to take their relationship to the next level, but amidst never-ending reports of their wedding dates, there are also numerous contradictory reports that claim that the duo are not getting married, in the first place. 
 
Infact, one report even goes as far as claiming that Khan hasn’t even proposed to Vantur as of yet. 
 
Naturally, the barrage of congratulatory messages he’s been receiving after their appearance has been making Khan quite uneasy. Regardless of the wedding date actually being fixed or not, it goes without saying Iulia Vantur is indeed a very important part of <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>’s life, and yet very little is known of her. 
 
We decided to dig deeper and here’s everything we know about Iulia Vantur- 
 
 
 
Iulia Vantur is a 35-year-old Romanian TV actor who was previously married to Grammy winning musician and Romanian producer Marius Maga. The duo parted ways in 2011 due to Moga’s involvement with another woman. 
 It was also around this time that Salman Khan made an entry into her life. Vantur had made a trip to India in early 201 with her former flame who had reportedly introduced her to Khan on the sets of <keyword id="35445" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="bodyguard">Bodyguard</keyword>. 
 
Later that year, after she and her ex-husband parted ways, she made another trip to India for over a month and Khan, being the gentleman not only hosted her but also helped nurse her broken heart. 
 
Since then, Vantur has made numerous trips to India and has spent time with Khan and his family. The duo have also been spotted at various five-star clubs and hotels. 
 
In 2014, they were both caught kissing at Dubai airport. Recently, she was also spotted exiting the Mumbai airport with Khan and his mother. 
 
 
 
She has also made a special appearance in Khan;s home production “Oh Teri” and is currently anchoring a show called ‘The Ferma’ (The Farm) on a Romanian channel.

Even before the horrex thrill of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/entertainment/movies/Box-Office-RaginiMMS-2-Thrills-All-Gang-Of-Ghosts-Lacks-Finesse/articleshow/32673836.cms">Ragini MMS 2</a> could be well purged out of our system, cine-goers had to face a ‘thoughtful’ <keyword id="2179860" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Political-movie">political movie</keyword> in the form of <keyword id="499327" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="youngistaan">Youngistaan</keyword>, starring <keyword id="37379" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jackky-Bhagnani">Jackky Bhagnani</keyword>, <keyword id="21114" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Neha-Sharma">Neha Sharma</keyword> and the late <keyword id="27989" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Farooque-Sheikh">Farooque Sheikh</keyword>. The other two releases on Friday the 28th included <keyword id="2179863" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Underworld-action-flick">underworld action flick</keyword> <keyword id="2025912" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dishkiyaoon">Dishkiyaoon</keyword> and the comedy movie <keyword id="1669247" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="O-Teri">O Teri</keyword>. Although the themes and the genres vary widely, there’s one thing in common about these Bollywood flicks – all three had a <keyword id="2179866" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Poor-opening-day">poor opening day</keyword> at home, with low occupancies ranging from 5-10%. And the <keyword id="25892" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="box-office">box office</keyword> numbers did not look up even after Day 5. 
 Directed by debutant <keyword id="2071198" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Syed-Ahmad-Afzal">Syed Ahmad Afzal</keyword>, Youngistaan is still the best as far as content and <keyword id="1996031" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Box-office-performance">box office performance</keyword> go. The movie netted Rs 3.79 crore at the <keyword id="827271" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Domestic-Box-Office">domestic box office</keyword> during the opening weekend while Dishkiyaoon netted Rs 3.45 crore in the first three days and O Teri just managed to nett Rs 2.45 crore, according to trade figures. 
 
Youngistaan, however, saw a sharp fall in revenues on the crucial Day 4 (Monday, March 31), netting around Rs 75 lakh, while Day 5 (April 1) collections were estimated to be a little over Rs 50 lakh, according to some industry sources. Going by the current trend, the movie may turn out to be a huge flop as it has been made on a budget of Rs 22-23 crore and opened across 1,000 theatres in India. 
 
The storyline of Youngistaan is intriguing enough, though. Here, you have a young <keyword id="1043723" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Game-developer">game developer</keyword> <keyword id="2179870" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Abhimanyu-Kaul">Abhimanyu Kaul</keyword> (Jackky Bhagnani) living in <keyword id="6355311" type="COUNTRY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Japan">Japan</keyword> with his girlfriend <keyword id="2179850" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Anwita-Chauhan">Anwita Chauhan</keyword> (Neha Sharma). But things turn topsy-turvy when Dad <keyword id="2179873" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Dashrath-Kaul">Dashrath Kaul</keyword> (he is also the <keyword id="71" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="Prime-Minister">prime minister</keyword> of India) suddenly dies and Abhimanyu is forced to step into his shoes. The rest could have been mayhem, but the <keyword id="2179851" type="POSITION" weightage="80" keywordseo="young-PM">young PM</keyword> seems to be handling it all (except his love life) with incredible efficiency. We do believe that is the weakest part of the movie – the incredible ease of things. However, one can’t help admiring Farooque Sheikh who handholds the <keyword id="2179854" type="POSITION" weightage="100" keywordseo="novice-politician">novice politician</keyword> throughout the twists and turns. It is definitely worth a watch but tends to get too predictable at the end. As Shubha Shetty-Saha of Mid-Day says, “While the film has a very interesting premise, it is totally diluted by lazy scriptwriting and sketchy direction.” 
 
 
 
As for Dishkiyaoon, starring the likes of <keyword id="9271" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sunny-Deol">Sunny Deol</keyword>, <keyword id="13128" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Harman-Baweja">Harman Baweja</keyword> and newcomer <keyword id="322563" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ayesha-Khanna">Ayesha Khanna</keyword>, the first Monday collections were equally dismal and stood in the range of Rs 70 lakh, according to Koimoi (Day 5 collections are not available yet). Directed by Sanamjit Singh Talwar, this one was made on an all-inclusive budget of Rs 35 crore and released across 1,500 screens all over India. Interestingly, <keyword id="6358615" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shilpa-Shetty">Shilpa Shetty</keyword> Kundra and <keyword id="217320" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sunil-Lulla">Sunil Lulla</keyword> are the producers here but in spite of the big names all around, the action flick has failed to gain much traction. And not without reasons. The movie could have portrayed the rise of the young aspirant, <keyword id="2179853" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Viki-Kartoos">Viki Kartoos</keyword> (Harman Baweja), to ‘gangsterhood’ with a lot more depth and understanding. Instead, we simply get some stereotype script, some superb action scenes and nothing more. 
 
Finally, there is the Umesh ​B​isht-directed comedy flick O Teri, narrated by <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>. This one, too, has opened across 1,000 screens, but totally fails to impress (weekday numbers are yet to come in). Here are two <keyword id="69943" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="TV-journalists">TV journalists</keyword> – <keyword id="2179878" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Prantabh-Pratab">Prantabh Pratab</keyword> or <keyword id="2179879" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="P-P-">P.P.</keyword> (<keyword id="76825" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Pulkit-Samrat">Pulkit Samrat</keyword>) and <keyword id="2179849" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Anand-Ishwaram-Devdutt-Subramanium">Anand Ishwaram Devdutt Subramanium</keyword> or <keyword id="19472" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="aids">AIDS</keyword> (<keyword id="946726" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bilal-Amrohi">Bilal Amrohi</keyword>) – trying to unravel a <keyword id="41357" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Scam">scam</keyword> and going through many improbable adventures in the process. In a way, it would remind you of the dark, corrupt world of Youngistaan and Dishkiyaoon, but all three flicks fail to deliver the ruthless reality on paper. And consequently, they fail miserable at the box office.

10 Things in Politics: Amazon union fight draws lawmaker support

The demonetization snafu and upcoming state elections will mean that <keyword id="6360189" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Union-Budget">Union Budget</keyword> 2017/18 will have a predominant electoral flavour, with a focus on employment, jobs and direct poverty reduction programmes. The <keyword id="6355261" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Finance-minister">Finance Minister</keyword> should take this opportunity to emphasize that poverty is multi-dimensional and goes beyond income. It is perpetuated significantly by the lack of environmental services- clean air, clean water, sanitation and waste management – through a deprivation in what Amartya Sen calls, the capability to live a healthy and good life. 
 Take the case of municipal solid waste (MSW). Of the estimated 62 million tonnes of MSW generated annually in urban areas, over 80% is disposed of indiscriminately at dump yards and scientific disposal is virtually non-existent. The <keyword id="43588" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="World-Health-Organization">World Health Organization</keyword> (WHO) observes that 22 types of diseases can be prevented or controlled in India by improving the MSW management. The High-Powered Expert Committee (<keyword id="704521" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="HPEC">HPEC</keyword>) for <keyword id="4125827" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="urban-infrastructure-services">Urban Infrastructure Services</keyword> had estimated that about 275, 000 crores would need to be spent annually to meet the capital and O&amp;M needs for solid waste management in urban areas. As against this, the aggregate annual revenue of Urban Local Bodies from all sources is below 100,000 crores as per estimates of a study done for the XIV <keyword id="74136" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="finance-commission">Finance Commission</keyword>. Waste management is a local body subject, yet it is evident that urban local bodies will not be able to deliver on their own. A ready indicator of this capacity constraint is the persistent lack of reliable revenue and expenditure accounts of local bodies. The situation are improved little even two and a half decades after the 1993 Constitutional Amendments which made way for the third tier of government in India, and despite successive <keyword id="25455" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="finance">Finance</keyword> Commissions flagging this as a a major impediment in any realistic assessment of resources required by local bodies for carrying out their core functions. The central budget must set aside resources to tackle the growing mounds of waste that dot our urban landscape. However, the current approach of uncoordinated support through multiple Ministries- agriculture, finance, urban development, new and renewable energy, environment and climate change must be discontinued. Instead, the <keyword id="6357307" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Central-Government">Central Government</keyword> must provide the leadership of a well thought out strategy that addresses fundamental issues such as the capacities and resources of municipal bodies, the availability of technologies that are suitable for Indian municipal waste and the incentive structures in the supply chain of activities in MSW management. The strategy must also effectively leverage the resources of the private sector and the users of municipal services. 
 
 
The need for a larger strategy is evident also in India’s ambitious renewable energy programme, which aims to contribute to universal clean energy access and energy security, while ensuring minimum growth in carbon emissions. The programme is laudable, yet the target of achieving 175 GW of renewable generation capacity, cannot be realistically achieved without giving an impetus to indigenous manufacturing in the solar power segment in India. At present, India has a cumulative solar cell and module capacity of about 5.5 GW annually which is less than one-third of the annual requirement of about 18 GW capacity addition to be achieved in next 5 years. The main problems for the Indian module manufacturers in India is the cost of finance i.e. 12-15% which is more than double the cost in US and China. Secondly, India does not have local ecosystem of quality raw material suppliers, which leads to longer lead time for importing raw material (45 to 90 days). It results in requirement of heavy investment in working capital. The cost competitiveness for Indian manufacturer is further reduced as imported finished modules are duty free however the import of glass and some other raw material for module manufacturing attracts import duty. Finally, Indian manufacturers purchase raw material in Dollars and sell the finished product in Rupees, taking on an additional risk of currency fluctuation. Unless the entire ecosystem of indigenous production is systematically addressed, our renewable energy targets, and the full potential of their linkages with the rest of the economy, are unlikely to be realized. 
 
The Finance Minister needs to send out a strong message on the saliency of environmental concerns for the development agenda and to commit resources for awareness building towards this. He also needs to ensure that the incentives and resources of the central Government are used tactically as part of an integrated and long term strategy, which is executed in a coordinated manner across ministries and states.

A little over two years later, the contract has become one of the worst in baseball.In his final three seasons with the Texas Rangers, Hamilton hit .313 with a .952 OPS and averaged 33 home runs. More importantly, he averaged 134 games played in those seasons.Since signing with the Angels, Hamilton has hit .255 with a .741 OPS and averaged just 16 home runs and 120 games played per season.<div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image"></div></div></div>To make matters even more troublesome for the Angels, Hamilton's situation is getting worse and the team still owes him $83 million over the next three seasons.Hamilton, who was suspended for three full seasons in the minors because of drug problems, suffered another drug relapse this offseason, putting his 2015 season in jeopardy.While initial reports suggested Hamilton could be suspended for the entire 2015 season, an <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/arbitrator-rules-josh-hamilton-angel-dodges-suspension-article-1.2172441">arbitrator ruled that MLB could not suspend him</a> since he did not violate the terms of the league's drug program.Hamilton did not fail a drug test. Instead, he self-reported what his lawyer argued was a "one-night slip," <a href="http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/arbitrator-rules-josh-hamilton-angel-dodges-suspension-article-1.2172441">according to Michael O'Keefe and Teri Thompson of the New York Dail News</a>.This was important for the Angels financially because it meant they were still obligated to pay Hamilton his 2015 salary of $23 million whether he plays during the season or not.Hamilton started the season on the disabled list with what the Angels say is recovery from offseason shoulder surgery.During the first week of the season, Angels owner Arte Moreno would not say if Hamilton will ever play for the Angels again, noting there was "specific language" in Hamilton's contract that he was not permitted to use drugs or drink alcohol, <a href="http://www.latimes.com/sports/angels/la-sp-sn-arte-moreno-josh-hamilton-angels-20150410-story.html">according to Bill Shaikin of the L.A.
