However, the first look at the phone is enough to tell you it is an entry-level device. The buttons on the right feel wonky to use, but thankfully, there were no squeaky noises during my tests.<br /><br />The phone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display, with slightly thick bezels and a noticeably thick chin. The display gets bright enough indoors, but readability under direct sunlight can be challenging. The colour reproduction is good and uniform.<br /><br /><strong>Software</strong><br /><br />Software is unarguably the biggest strength of the Moto E7 Power. It runs on stock Android with almost zero bloatware. This comes as a breath of fresh air in this price segment, so kudos to Motorola -- owned by Chinese firm Lenovo -- for this. It comes with the Facebook app bundled, but it can be uninstalled. <br /><br />Apart from this, the Moto E7 Power sticks to stock Android, with zero modifications to the interface. It does have a dedicated button to summon Google Assistant, which can be useful if you use it frequently.<br /><br />The one area where Motorola could have done better is the Android version – the Moto E7 Power comes with Android 10 out of the box instead of Android 11, which has been out for over 5 months now.<br /><br /><strong>Performance and battery life</strong><br /><br />An octa-core MediaTek chipset drives the phone, paired with up to 4GB memory and 64GB storage. In my tests, I noticed the Moto E7 Power stutter while scrolling and navigating. However, it is worth remembering that this is an entry-level phone, so sheer power is not the important consideration here.<br /><br />The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that lasts for over a day of usage, with intermittent calls and messages, streaming a few videos on YouTube and browsing social media. Essentially, the camera is serviceable but you shouldn’t expect it to do wonders.<br /><br /><strong>Verdict</strong><br /><br />The Moto E7 Power is an entry-level smartphone and as such, the primary focus is on the basics like the software and ease of use. It does well in these two areas since it runs on stock Android and features almost no bloatware. The memory and storage are adequate as well, so that is another point in Motorola’s favour.<br /><br />The display quality and camera performance could have been better, though. The design and build feel unfinished, too. The phone has curves on the sides to make it easier to hold the device, but you still can’t escape the fact that this is a thick phone, and at 220 grams, it is heavy, too.<br /><br /><div type="image" title="Moto G10 Power" msid="81583656" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Moto G10 Power&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div><br />Another area where Motorola could have done a better job is the design of the phone’s back. The bloat-free operating system is an advantage, but it does not completely make up for the lack of power. Switching between apps, clicking photos or even scrolling might sometimes test your patience, but then again, there’s only so much you can expect from an entry-level phone.<br /><br />The highlight of the phone is its massive 6,000mAh battery, and it shines in real world usage. It is bright, crisp and also supports Widevine L1 certification, which is needed if you want to stream content in Full HD resolution. However, it is a 60Hz panel, unlike the OnePlus Nord which comes with a 90Hz display.<br /><br />In my usage, the phone was readable even under direct sunlight. It has a hole punch notch on the top that houses the selfie camera.<br /><br /><strong>Software</strong><br /><br />Samsung packs in plenty of features with its custom skin One UI. The Galaxy F62 comes with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 out of the box – both being the latest versions currently available.<br /><br />You can start using the Galaxy F62 out of the box without any customization and you will still appreciate the balance Samsung has struck in terms of ease of use and power features like the Edge panel that houses shortcuts. If that is not enough, you can customise the phone to your heart’s content by going into the Settings and playing with the options available.<br /><br />Overall, Samsung’s One UI skin offers a great balance between simplicity, performance and customizability.<br /><br /><strong>Performance and battery life<br /></strong><br />The Galaxy F62 is powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset that promises to deliver fast performance, rivalling its competitors or even exceeding them. It is paired with up to 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage.<br /><br />In my tests, I found that the Galaxy F62 delivers smooth performance in regular usage. There were no noticeable lags or stutters in apps, browsing the internet or using the camera. Even while playing games, the performance was smooth for the most part – but after extended sessions of gaming, the phone did heat up a bit, which is fairly normal for most phones.<br /><br />In terms of battery life, it has a massive 7,000mAh battery that refuses to die out in a single day. With normal usage, I could easily complete two days on a single charge, which is impressive no matter what.<br /><br />The downside of this big battery is the weight – at 218 grams, the Galaxy F62 can seem a bit heavy, but it’s easy to get adjusted once you use it for a while.<br /><br /><strong>Camera<br /><div type="image" title="Samsung Galaxy F62" msid="81084437" hostid="261" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Samsung Galaxy F62&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div></strong><br />The Galaxy F62 has four cameras on the back and one selfie snapper on the front. The secret to a dealmaking giant's success is an old school flip phone

<p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>YouTube/DW English</span></p><p class="caption">GoEuro founder Naren Shaam.</p></div><p></p></div></div>GoEuro, a travel platform that allows customers to search and book trains, buses and flights across Europe, has raised $70 million (£54 million) in a bid to accelerate product development and growth.</p><p>The funding round, led by Silver Lake Kraftwerk and Kleiner Perkins Caufield &amp; Byers, is one of the biggest European funding rounds of 2016 so far.</p><p>It comes less than a year after GoEuro raised a $45 million (£35 million) round and total investment in the company now stands at $146 million (£113 million). Other investors in the four-year-old startup include Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, as well as venture capital firms Atomico, Battery Ventures, Lakestar, and NEA.</p><p>Headquartered in Berlin, GoEuro's 180 employees are aiming to unify and standardise Europe's ground transportation to make it more like the air industry.</p><p>The company claims that its platform allows customers to book the fastest, cheapest and best travel options by train, bus and flight to any city, town or village in Europe.</p><p>Naren Shaam, CEO and founder of GoEuro, said in a statement: "Our objective is to connect every single location on the map with a click of a button. After three years of intensive work, we've managed to attract 10 million users a month, integrate more than 5 million routes across Europe, 12 countries, 500 partners and sell tickets to millions of customers from more than one hundred countries.</p><p>"This new investment from such experienced investors will allow us to scale into many new markets and go deeper into the ones we already have, as well as accelerate development of the world's most comprehensive reservations platform for trains, buses and flights."</p><p>The company claims it is now poised to join the small circle of European start-ups seen to have the potential to become multi-billion dollar companies.</p><p>Mood Rowghani, general partner at Kleiner Perkins added: "GoEuro provides an essential service to travellers across Europe and has grown tremendously to become a part of consumers' daily lives. 	In her keynote at MWC this morning, IBM CEO Virginia Rometty made it clear that the company sees Africa as a huge opportunity over the next decade. </p>
<p>
	What sets Africa apart from other markets, according to Rometty, is that its infrastructure was built with mobile in mind. Payments and communications are already built on top of <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/africas-technology-market-2013-2" target="_blank">a booming phone market and incomes continue to rise</a>, driving demand for better gadgets and services.</p>
<p>
	That's why IBM is pushing for a bigger presence on the continent. It already has locations in 20 of the 54 countries in Africa, and last year opened the first of its 12 major research labs in the world in Nairobi, the capital and largest city of Kenya. Rometty herself visited the continent four times last year; a visit to the continent earlier this month was <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/africas-technology-market-2013-2" target="_blank">actually the first time the whole top brass had assembled outside New York</a> since she became the boss just over a year ago.</p>
<p>
	In addition to pushing its mobile capabilities, IBM will also be deploying its Watson supercomputer in Africa, where it will be put to use in education and cervical cancer research.</p>
<p>
	Rometty's statements mirror a common thread running through the presentations being given at this year's Mobile World Congress going on in Barcelona: the rising importance of mobile in low-income nations.</p>
<p>
	Earlier this week, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/its-a-race-to-the-bottom-2014-2" target="_blank">people were talking</a> about the slew of phones coming in the $25 to $35 price range that will bring the versatility of the mobile Web to a price category dominated by feature (or "dumb") phones.</p>
<p>
	Nokia, much to Microsoft's chagrin, also <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/nokia-x-microsoft-2014-2" target="_blank">unveiled three low-cost Android phones</a> built on top of Microsoft services for release in international markets.</p>
<p>
	It's increasingly looking like Apple and Samsung own the high end of the smartphone market. With everybody else in the space pursuing the burgeoning low end, it'll be interesting to see what kinds of services IBM will be able to offer to an unusual but quickly growing market.</p>

IBM Says Africa Will Be A Huge Growth Opportunity

I’m not a city guy. Growing up in the suburbs, some memories still stick. Baba’s office senior bought a swanky penthouse in the city. Cut to the housewarming party. The company MD arrives. Everybody stands up. I hear a ring. The MD takes out a black alien device. I remember reading the words ‘<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Blackberry">Blackberry</a>’. That’s the enduring image most 90s kids have – their rich dads, or richer neighborhood uncles using a device that doubled up as a weapon if you’re cornered in an alley.<br />

<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Blackberry">Blackberry</a>, you were the voluptuous diva of the 90s. A symbolic, if possible polite middle finger to announce one has arrived. The coolest features were ‘email’ and ‘camera’. Then the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=iPhone">iPhone</a> boomed, smartphones, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Android">Android</a>, and cut to now. The world went and got itself into a goddamn hurry.<br />

Your bullishness to have an enterprise focused OS proved fatal. When most brands jumped on the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Android">Android</a> bandwagon, you took your time. Today, the then leader Nokia’s dead, and it’s too late for you too. While you’ve pledged to keep the Priv secure, nobody cares while <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Apple">Apple</a>’s around.<br />
<br />
I repeat, there’s nothing wrong with you baby. You just ain’t the ‘cool crowd' anymore. Your forte, the QWERTY keypad is now a double-edged sword. It’s what makes the Priv special, and also a deal-breaker.<br />
<br />
The Priv is attractive (a bit fat though) and has a 5.4-inch quad HD display with Gorilla Glass 4. The display’s sharp, and the colors vibrant. The 18-megapixel Schneider-Kreuznach camera is fine, even though the 2-megapixel selfie camera sucks.<br />
<br />
Hardware isn't top class, but won't disappoint either. It’s a 64-bit Snapdragon 808 hexa-core system-on-chip (SoC). It handles hardware-intensive games and multi-tasking well, though the device will get a bit hot. The Priv's 3,410mAh battery may not be better than the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Samsung+Galaxy+Note+5">Samsung Galaxy Note 5</a> or <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Samsung+Galaxy+S6">Samsung Galaxy S6</a>, but we’ll let that pass too.<br />

In the age of vulgar specifications, ‘fine’ isn’t just fine anymore. You just ain’t got the booty to attract eyeballs. <p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span><a href="http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:114468695AP007_TechCrunch_D.jpg">TechCrunch/Wikimedia Commons (CC)</a></span></p><p class="caption">Hollywood actor and investor Ashton Kutcher.</p></div><p></p></div></div>The man behind navigation app Moovit told Business Insider this week that he accepted investment from Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher and music manager Guy Oseary even though he didn't necessarily need their money.</p><p>Moovit received an undisclosed amount from the pair's fund, <a href="http://www.sound-ventures.com/blog/" target="_blank">Sound Ventures</a>, two weeks ago, according to Moovit cofounder and CEO Ner Erez.</p><p>The Israeli startup had received $82 million (£54 million) in venture capital funding for its <a href="http://www.techworld.com/news/apps/moovit-navigation-app-raises-50m-help-it-take-on-citymapper-in-uk-3593975/" target="_blank">Citymapper-like app, with $50 million (£33 million)</a> of that coming at the start of the year from the likes of Sequoia, BMW Ventures and Nokia Growth Partners.</p><p>Despite Moovit not being strapped for cash, conversations with Kutcher and Oseary began approximately six months ago, according to Erez.</p><p>"We'd just closed such a big round and I said: 'Guys I don't need the money,'" said Erez, adding that he met the pair multiple times in New York and San Francisco.</p><p>"Money is quite available today so that wasn't why I took the investment," he continued.</p><p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Moovit</span></p><p class="caption">Moovit iOS screenshot.</p></div><p></p></div></div>Kutcher and Oseary have also backed companies like Uber, Airbnb, and Spotify through another fund known as A-Grade Investments.</p><p>Erez said that the pair are "really very strong in understanding media and supporting their companies."</p><p>Giving examples, Erez pointed to when <a href="http://dailycaller.com/2015/07/22/ashton-kutcher-skewers-bill-de-blasio-in-scathing-facebook-post/" target="_blank">Kutcher helped Uber take on the Mayor of New York</a>, Bill de Blasio, and when <a href="http://blog.airbnb.com/no-were-not-punking-you-ashton-joins-airbnb-t/" target="_blank">Kutcher helped out Airbnb</a> when it was going through a period of "bad press". </p><p>Erez is also well aware that the pair have vast social media followings that Moovit could draw on to build out its own user base, which currently stands at more than 30 million people. Kutcher, for example, has 17.2 2 million followers on Twitter. </p><p>Kutcher told Business Insider via email: "At Sound Ventures we're on the hunt for hyper growth companies that are not only heading for greatness in size but that are also tackling real world issues. Moovit's mission to make public transport a first choice for people across the globe, cutting back on individual car usage and making cities smarter, sits well with our vision to invest in game changers.</p><p>"We're very excited to help Moovit on its journey to build a more eco friendly way to navigate our cities worldwide."</p><h2>Taking money without making money</h2><p>Moovit employs approximately 80 people in an office 10 miles outside Tel Aviv, but it currently has no revenues, and it doesn't look like Erez has any plans to sell the product any time soon.</p><p>"I don't care eventually if we're not going to make any money at all but if I can touch a billion people around the world I'll be satisfied," he said. "I don't care about how much money we even make. My dream is to influence the lives of a billion people. I think Ashton Kutcher and Guy resonate with such a vision of doing good."</p><p>"Public transport users deserve to have a free product everywhere, it's a democratisation," Erez continued. "As long as I'm CEO or a shareholder at Moovit I will not allow them to sell the product to users.</p><p>"We were blessed enough to raise so much money we don't really need to care about that [making money]. Monetisation for us is a secondary focus. Our main focus is to try and cover the world of public transportation and it will take us at least two more years to have 100% coverage of the world of public transportation. Today we have more than 800 cities. Food prices jumped 7.4% versus a year ago, but that was a bit slower than the March reading of up 7.6%. Notable was the 33.5% year-over-year spike in pork prices. Nonfood prices were up just 1.1% compared with a year ago. Also out were producer prices, which fell 3.4% YoY. The Chinese yuan ended unchanged at 6.5161 per dollar.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.ft.com/fastft/2016/05/10/german-current-account-surplus-swells-to-record/">Germany's trade surplus is the largest on record</a>.</strong> The trade surplus of Europe's largest economy swelled to <span>€20.6 billion in March, a record high, according to the Financial Times. The data showed that German exports within the European Union totaled <span>€62.6 billion, while imports from the bloc reached €53.9 billion. Additionally, Germany's current account surplus reached a record high of <span>€30.4 billion. The euro is little changed at 1.1379.</span></span></span></p><p><strong><a href="http://www.ekathimerini.com/208489/article/ekathimerini/business/greek-bond-yields-drop-below-8-percent-after-debt-relief-offer">Greece has been offered debt relief</a>. </strong>Reuters reports that Greece has been offered debt relief if it makes good on all of the reforms it has promised its creditors. The deal would reportedly extend the maturities on Greek debt and cap interest payments. But a haircut, which has been publicly supported by the International Monetary Fund, doesn't appear to be in the cards. More details on the deal will come from a meeting of deputy finance ministers on May 24, according to the report. Greece's 10-year yield is down 53 basis points at 7.54% - at its lowest level in five months.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-05-09/brazil-senate-chief-says-rousseff-impeachment-to-continue">Impeachment proceedings will continue in Brazil</a>. </strong>The impeachment proceedings against Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff will continue despite an earlier announcement they had been shelved. Bloomberg reports, "<span>Lawmaker Waldir Maranhao released a statement in the dead of night revoking his own call to annul impeachment sessions in the lower house." A vote on whether to put Rousseff on trial is scheduled for Wednesday, and if it passes, she would be removed from office until the trial concludes.</span></p><p><strong><a href="http://www.cnn.com/2016/05/09/asia/philippines-election/">"The Punisher" is the Philippines' new president</a>.</strong> <span>Rodrigo Duterte has won the presidential election in the Philippines. According to CNN, Duterte's top rival, Grace Poe, conceded when exit polls showed she was trailing by <span>38.92% to 22.14%.</span> Duterte has been compared to Donald Trump for his outspoken demeanor. The results won't be official until June.</span></p><p><strong><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/r-weak-demand-for-banana-republic-old-navy-weighs-on-gaps-results-2016-5">Gap warned</a>.</strong> The retailer announced that same-store sales cratered 7% in April. Gap was hit especially hard by an 11% slide in Banana Republic same-store sales. The company issued downside EPS guidance of $0.31 to $0.32, far worse than the $0.44 that was expected by the Thomson Reuters consensus. Gap shares were down about 10% in after-hours trading.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/solarcity-getting-whacked-after-earnings-whiff-2016-5">SolarCity is getting destroyed</a>. </strong>The Elon Musk-led solar company lost a whopping $2.56 a share, missing the $2.31 loss that was expected. Revenue surged 81.6% versus last year to $122.6 million, however, topping the $110 million Bloomberg consensus. Second-quarter guidance came in at a loss of $2.70 to $2.80 a share, worse than the $2.13 loss that Wall Street was anticipating. SolarCity shares are down almost 19% ahead of the opening bell.</p><p><strong>Stock markets everywhere are higher.</strong> Japan's Nikkei (+2.2%) led in Asia, and Spain's IBEX (+1.9%) paces the gains in Europe. S&amp;P 500 futures are up 11.00 points at 2,065.25.</p><p><strong>Earnings reports continue to flow. </strong>Allergan, Credit Suisse, Crocs, Nokia, and SodaStream are among the companies reporting ahead of the opening bell. The Japanese index finished up 0.54%, while Australia's S&amp;P/ASX 200 fell -0.67% and Korea's Kospi was off -0.04%. European markets were all lower, with France's CAC 40 trailing most at -0.89%. U.S. futures were pointing lower.</li>
<li>It's a slower day for data today in advance of Thursday and Friday's big job numbers. International trade data for July prints at 8:30 am, and consensus is for a trade gap of -$39 billion against -$34.2 billion prior. We'll also get motor vehicle sales and ICSC-Goldman same-store sales. Weekly mortgage applications were up 1.3%, while refis gained 2%, both up from prior week's readings. The purchase index fell -2.4% to -0.4%.</li>
<li>Early commodities trading saw most goods moving lower, with gold and NYMEX-traded crude both down more than -0.6%. <a href="http://projects.nytimes.com/live-dashboard/syria#sha=4ae2a67c3">The Senate Foreign Relations committee will likely vote today on a resolution authorizing President Obama to carry out a limited strike on Syria</a>. </li>
<li><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">Goldman Sachs economist Alec Phillips writes this morning that </span><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/heres-goldmans-take-on-the-flurry-of-events-about-to-happen-in-washington-dc-2013-9#ixzz2dv3t7Alk">a Syria strike could actually preempt the fight over a debt ceiling</a><span style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 1.5em;">. "Beyond the direct implications of authorizing force, we believe this may also have two indirect implications: first, it increases the already high likelihood that Congress will approve a temporary extension of spending authority, avoiding a partial government shutdown. Second, it makes it slightly more likely that Congress will provide partial relief from the spending cuts under sequestration, though our base case is that they remain in place."</span></li>
<li>Eurozone retail sales grew just 0.1% against 0.4% expected, and Eurozone composite PMI just missed expectations at 51.5 (analysts were expecting 51.7). But there was solid news out of the UK, where the services sector index ticked 60.5 against 60.2 prior, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/uk-services-pmi-2013-9">the highest level in more than six years.</a> And the Eurozone's GDP <a href="http://www.ft.com/fastft?post=36702">is growing by 0.3%, confirming the preliminary reading.</a> Portugal saw the largest Q/Q growth at 1.1%.</li>
<li>LinkedIn shares took a dip in after-hours trading after the tech firm announced it would <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/linkedin-1-billion-offer-filing-2013-9">float an additional $1 billion in stock. </a>The stock was off about 2% to $241.</li>

<li>Europe continued to show signs of deflation, as November Italian consumer prices data fell 0.4% month-on-month, compared with a 0.2% decline in October. The year-over-year improvement of 0.6% fell short of the 0.8% year-over-year increase in October. Eurozone wide inflation of 0.9% beat expectations but remains well below the ECB's 2% target. </li>

"One is that the Spanish economy has made some notable progress in the re-balancing of its external deficits. And it raised Cyprus' rating to 'B-/B' from 'CCC plus/C,' saying the chance of imminent default on the island nation had receded.</span></li>
<li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Microsoft officials are leaning toward appointing either Ford CEO Alan Mulally and internal candidate Satya Nadella as the next CEO of the software giant, </span><a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-28/microsoft-board-said-to-lean-to-mulally-nadella-in-ceo-search.html">Bloomberg's </a><a href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-11-28/microsoft-board-said-to-lean-to-mulally-nadella-in-ceo-search.html">Dina Bass &amp; Carol Hymowitz report</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">. <li><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">Wagers that the value of the yen will continue to decline against the dollar are close to levels not seen since 2007, </span><a href="http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304747004579225700212764312?mod=WSJ_hp_LEFTWhatsNewsCollection">the Wall Street Journal's Mia Lamar reports</a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">, as investors believe the imminent end to QE will boost the dollar, putting competitive pressure on Japanese exports.
