Dawood's daughter Mahrukh is married to Junaid, son of former Pakistan cricket captain Javed Miandad.
 

	Indian intelligence agencies have an April 2015 telephone bill in the name of Dawood's wife Mehjabeen with D-13, Block-4, Karachi Development Authority, Sch-5, Clifton, as the address, according to the report. Dawood has three Pakistani passports and two more residential addresses in Karachi.
 

	Dawood's family members have travelled to Dubai in January this year. According to the image that HT published of Dawood's Pakistani passport photo, the 59-year-old crime syndicate chief is now cleanshaven, has a receding hairline and has not had plastic surgery done on his face.
 

	Sleuths also have his passport numbers, flight and passenger details.
 

	"Pakistan's Dawood lie is also nailed from the fact that the mafia don's close associates like Jabir Saddiq, Jawaid Chotani and Mumbai blasts accused Javed Patel a.k.a Chikna are also based in Pakistan and are frequent visitors to Dubai. It is expected that Modi and Sharif will discuss the status of the bilateral ties and the future direction. 
 
However, Indian government sources told Economic Times that Modi-Sharif talks need not be construed a prelude to a resumption of the dialogue process between the two countries. 
 
Pakistan foreign office spokesperson Qazi Khalilullah said that it has always been (Pakistan) Prime Minister's policy to seek cordial and cooperative ties with all neighbouring countries including India. “It was in the pursuit of this objective that the prime minister would be meeting the Indian prime minister for a comprehensive exchange on all issues of common interest,” he had said.

Mumbai, Jul 6 () Extending its gains to the fourth straight session, equity benchmark Sensex surged 466 points on Monday, driven by gains in index-heavyweights Reliance Industries and HDFC Bank amid easing India-China border tension and bullish trend in global markets. After touching a high of 36,661.66 during the day, the 30-share index settled 465.86 points, or 1.29 per cent, higher at 36,487.28; while the NSE Nifty soared 156.30 points, or 1.47 per cent, to 10,763.65. Mahindra and Mahindra was the top gainer in the Sensex pack, advancing over 7 per cent, followed by Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries, Maruti, TCS, HDFC Bank and Tata Steel. On the other hand, Bajaj Auto, HDFC, Bharti Airtel and HUL were among the laggards. According to traders, besides stock-specific action, domestic indices rallied on positive sentiment led by signs of easing border tension between India and China. The Ministry of External Affairs said, in telephonic talks, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi agreed that maintenance of peace and tranquillity were essential for development of bilateral ties. A year after the two-month border skirmish, the Modi administration is all set to sign India’s first ever security cooperation pact with China. Kezhi will also meet Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor, to discuss certain aspects of the agreement. The pact could portend a future treaty on the exchange of prisoners. All will not be smooth sailing, however. India is likely to raise a number of contentious issues with China. Firstly, it will try and establish a consensus on the placement of Maulana Masood Azhar, the head of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) - a terrorist outfit in <keyword id="3001" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pakistan">Pakistan</keyword> aimed at taking back <keyword id="6354495" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="kashmir">Kashmir</keyword>), on the UN sanctions list. It will also cover the China’s practice of granting stapled visas to residents of disputed areas in Arunachal Pradesh. There will, however, be no mention of the line of control or border disputes. The agreement has reportedly been in the works since 2015, undergoing multiple amendments based on objections raised by both sides. As China takes a larger role in <keyword id="52011" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="South-Asia">South Asia</keyword>, it has also solicited India’s help in working in other countries. Earlier this month, India and China started a programme <a href="https://in.reuters.com/article/india-china-afghanistan/india-china-launch-joint-training-for-afghanistan-plan-more-projects-idINKCN1MP1KB">to jointly train Afghan diplomats</a>. Caught in the eye of a storm over sheltering more than 2,000 religious followers in a Delhi mosque during the COVID-19 lockdown, the Amir (chief) of <keyword id="274939" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tablighi-Jamaat">Tablighi Jamaat</keyword>, Maulana Saad Khandhlawi has been a controversial Muslim cleric for years. Maulana Saad who claims to have over 100 crore followers in nearly 200 countries, functions from <keyword id="6383849" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="nizamuddin">Nizamuddin</keyword> mosque, which serves as a global Markaz (centre) of Tablighi Jamaat. Bypassing rituals and regulations of Tablighi Jamaat, Maulana Saad ignored all orders of Shura (central council) of Jamaat, and declared himself the Amir to capture the coveted seat at the Markaz Nizamuddin in November 2015 as he turned 50. "He insulted the elders, scholars and the members of the Shura. The Amir is elected on the advice of the Shura but he (Maulana Saad) did not pay heed to any orders of the supreme council and decided on his own to take over the Jamaat," said Maulana Idris of Shamli. In fact Maulana Saad Khandhlawi's family comes from Kandhla, a place near Shamli district of western Uttar Pradesh, around 80 kilometers away from Delhi. Deemed as one of the most influential movement in Muslim world, Tablighi Jamaat was established by Maulana Muhammed Ilyas Khandlawi, the great grandfather of Maulana Saad. Tablighi Jamaat was an offshoot of Deoband movement and aims at revival of the true Islam as perceived by the Prophet Mohammed. However under Maulana Saad's leadership, Jamaat has been running into several controversies. After Maulana's Saad's self proclamation of becoming the Amir, another faction led by <keyword id="8994367" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="maulana-mohammad-zaihairul-hasan">Maulana Mohammad Zaihairul Hasan</keyword> has been opposing Saad's leadership. Both factions are still at loggerheads. Well known Islamic university Darul Uloom Deoband, the seat of Sunni Deoband movement, is also not happy with Maulana Saad's style of functioning including his teachings for the past three years. Darul Uloom went to the extent of issuing a fatwa against Maulana Saad for his controversial interpretation of verses of holy Quran. Some leading Maulanas of the Sunni sect also seem to be unhappy with Maulana Saad's provocative statements. In a leaked audio tape of Maulana Saad which went viral on social media recently, some portions of his speech are highly objectionable. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has registered a case against Maulana Saad, under Epidemic Disease Act and Indian Penal Code for violating government orders and holding a huge religious gathering while ignoring the dreaded spread of pandemic in the country. "Our officers including the Station House Officer of Nizamuddin police station had repeatedly requested <keyword id="3835844" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="maulana-sahab">Maulana Sahab</keyword> to disperse the crowd which has assembled in the six-storey mosque building of the Markaz...but he did not budge. It's unfortunate that all talks failed to convince him," said an IPS officer of Delhi Police. Finally National Security Advisor <keyword id="115253" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ajit-Doval">Ajit Doval</keyword> had to intervene to find a way out. On the night of March 27-28, Doval reached Markaz and finally convinced Maulana Saad to get the occupants tested for COVID-19 and be quarantined. But by that time it was too late, as many foreign devotees who assembled at the Markaz had spread the viral infection. Subsequent dispersal of followers to their hometowns spread across the country added more fuel to the fire in spreading the virus.
