The New York Times was first to report the case.There is no proof that that the foreign country obtained any information. The plot unraveled after Toebbe began communicating with an undercover FBI agent who was luring him. The investigation on the engineer began in December 2020 when the FBI gained access to a package that had been sent to another country containing classified materials postmarked in April 2020, documents said."Please forward this letter to your military intelligence agency. I believe this information will be of great value to your nation," Toebbe said in the letter, according to the court documents. "This is not a hoax."It is unclear why it took some time for the FBI to obtain the package and how exactly the agency obtained it, such as whether it was surrendered or intercepted. Closely following the package's instructions, the FBI engaged in an encrypted conversation with Toebbe in which he requested payment in cryptocurrency, according to the documents. Cryptocurrencies have been at the center of recent illicit activities from money laundering to terrorism financing, because transactions are either anonymous or very difficult to trace.The FBI agent then convinced Toebbe to meet in person. When he declined, a dead drop - a coordinated handoff to avoid face-to-face meetings - was agreed upon in West Virginia. His wife Diana Toebbe, a high school teacher, served as his lookout while he left an SD card concealed inside a peanut butter sandwich in a plastic bag, according to the court documents.'Please remember I am risking my life for your benefit and I have taken the first step. Please help me trust you fully," he said, according to court documents.Once the FBI agent got the package, he sent Toebbe the payment to gain his trust. Subsequent dead drops took place in Pennsylvania and Virginia in which SD cards were wrapped in a Band-Aid wrapper and a chewing gum package. By August 2021, Toebbe was paid $100,000 in cryptocurrency by the FBI.On October 9, the couple was arrested in their Maryland home by the FBI and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. They are scheduled to appear in a federal court in West Virginia on October 12.

An analysis <a href="https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2021/12/09/how-cryptocurrency-revolutionized-white-supremacist-movement#content-area">released Thursday by the nonprofit Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)</a> identified more than 600 cryptocurrency addresses used by white supremacists and other far-right extremists.The research says that figures who have championed white supremacist views — including Andrew Auernheimer, Andrew Anglin of The Daily Stormer website, and right-wing commentator Stefan Molyneux — were early investors in bitcoin and "turned a substantial profit from it.""The estimated tens of millions of dollars' worth of value extreme far-right figures generated represents a sum that would almost certainly be unavailable to them without cryptocurrency, and it gave them a chance to live comfortable lives while promoting hate and authoritarianism," according to the SPLC's analysis on its Hatewatch blog. The analysis goes on to say that "nothing is inherently criminal or extreme about" cryptocurrency and that "most of its users have no connections to the extreme far-right.""However, the far right's early embrace of cryptocurrency merits deeper analysis, due to the way they used it to expand their movement and to obscure funding sources," said Hatewatch's report.Molyneux, who runs the philosophy podcast <a href="https://www.freedomain.com/">"Freedomain"</a> on his website, was banned from YouTube along with the white nationalist Richard Spencer and the former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke in June 2020 as part of a crackdown on <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/youtube-bans-stefan-molyneux-hate-speech-david-duke-richard-spencer-2020-6">channels that featured hate speech</a>. Molyneux's Twitter account was suspended a little over a week later, <a href="https://screenrant.com/twitter-suspends-stefan-molyneux/">Screen Rant reported</a>. In addition to cryptocurrency, Molyneux appears to make money through soliciting donations on his website, from fans of his purchasing membership to his virtual "Freedomain Community," and by selling books. Molyneux has 10 philosophy-themed books listed for his sale on his website.Aurenheimer, or "weev," became known online as an internet troll and 4chan personality before he later started writing articles containing white supremacist rhetoric for the neo-Nazi and far-right website the Daily Stormer, <a href="https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/individual/andrew-%E2%80%9Cweev%E2%80%9D-auernheimer">according to the SPLC</a>. Anglin is the founder of the Daily Stormer, <a href="https://www.splcenter.org/fighting-hate/extremist-files/individual/andrew-anglin">according to the SPLC</a>. In February, Anglin wrote a post on the Daily Stormer website telling readers they can only donate to the website using the anonymous cryptocurrency Monero. The website decided to switch from bitcoin to Monero in 2020 because "the media" had started pointing a light on "right-wing sites" accepting bitcoin donations, he wrote in the post, <a href="https://edition.cnn.com/2021/02/19/us/extremism-cryptocurrency-profiting-off-hate-invs/index.html">citing a CNN investigation</a> into far-right extremists soliciting cryptocurrency donations.

For years, Google has offered a way for apps to let their users sign up or log in with nothing more than their Google Account, saving the step of needing to fill in basic information like your name and email address or even picking a password. In a screenshot of the enabled feature, Twitter's sign-in page on the web shows "Sign up", "Log in" and a third option, "Continue with Google". Presumably, this button will allow you to attach your Google Account to an existing Twitter account, create a new Twitter account with your Google Account details or login to your Twitter account if you've already associated it with your Google Account. Twitter may soon let you sign in with your Google account

More than one-third or 38 per cent of Australians who lost their jobs during the early days of the coronavirus <keyword id="43587" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="pandemic">pandemic</keyword> were younger than 25, a government study has found. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) on Friday published a report on the psychological distress experienced by young Australians in the early stages of the pandemic, reports <keyword id="106387" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Xinhua-news-agency">Xinhua news agency</keyword>. It revealed that 38 per cent of the 592,000 Australians who lost <keyword id="6355127" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="employment">employment</keyword> in April 2020 amid a nationwide lockdown were aged 15-24 and that the proportion of people aged 18-24 experiencing severe psychological distress increased from 14 per cent in 2017 to 22 per cent. The proportion of Australians aged 15-24 who were not in education, employment or training rose from 8.7 per cent in May 2019 to 12 per cent in May 2020. "Adolescence and young adulthood is a critical period in a person's life. Young people often experience rapid physical, social and emotional changes in a time where they are transitioning from dependence to independence," AIHW spokesperson Sally <keyword id="6388399" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="mills">Mills</keyword> said in a statement. "This is a time when young people are finishing school, pursuing further training and education, entering the workforce, moving out of the family home, and forming relationships. "Ongoing monitoring is needed to fully understand the longer-term impact of the pandemic," Mills added. Despite the significant increase in unemployment and distress, the report found young Australians were faring well in some areas, with 59 per cent of people aged 15-19 saying they were happy or very happy with their lives in April 2020. The Hyderabad-based dairy company saw its shares listed at ₹582 -- a jump of almost 38% from its initial price ₹421-428 apiece. The shares of Dodla Dairy continued to rise and were trading at ₹600 at 10.27 a.m. The grey market had indicated a strong listing of Dodla Dairy company as it stayed around ₹70-90 premium per share, according to <a href="https://www.ipowatch.in/p/ipo-grey-market-premium-latest-ipo-grey.html">IPOwatch</a>. However, the grey market is not an official measure of the market premium. The 26-year-old company operates in south India. It is the third largest milk producer in the country, with its milk procurement standing at 1.03 million litres per day. Their operations in India are primarily across the five Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. Their overseas operations are based in Uganda and Kenya. Dodla Dairy's ₹520 crore initial share-sale was subscribed 45.62 times at a price band of ₹421-428 apiece. The company has delivered consistent growth over the last three financial years both in terms of financial and operational metrics, mentions a report by HDFC Securities. Its revenue from operations increased at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.98% from FY18 to FY20 and amounted to ₹21,393.73 million in FY20.
