For <keyword id="21468205" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="optimal-health" source="keywords">optimal health</keyword>, a person's ideal day should include more than four hours of <keyword id="20053428" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="physical-activity" source="keywords">physical activity</keyword> involving <keyword id="20067991" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="exercise" source="keywords">exercise</keyword> of light, moderate or vigourous intensity, and at least eight hours of <keyword id="19999765" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sleep" source="keywords">sleep</keyword>, new research has found. Light-intensity activity could range from doing chores to making dinner, whereas moderate and vigourous exercise involve more intentional movement such as a brisk walk or a gym workout, researchers said. The ideal daily routine should also include six hours of sitting and five hours of standing, they said. The international team, led by Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, analysed the behaviour of more than 2,000 people within a 24-hour day to determine the right mix of time spent sitting, sleeping, standing and being physically active for desirable health. "This breakdown encompasses a wide range of <keyword id="21468206" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="health-markers" source="keywords">health markers</keyword> and converges on the 24 hours associated with overall optimal health," said Christian Brakenridge, from the Centre for Urban Transitions, Swinburne University of Technology. "For different health markers, from waist circumference to fasting glucose, there would be different levels for each behaviour," added Brakenridge, also the lead author of the study published in the journal Diabetologia. For instance, switching time spent sitting with more time being physically active or performing light-intensity movements was associated with more beneficial blood glucose levels in individuals having diabetes than those without the condition, the researchers found. The findings also acknowledged how a certain activity replacing another could impact an individual's whole day. "Sleeping may be detrimental to health if it replaces exercise time, but beneficial if it replaces sedentary behaviour," explained Brakenridge. However, even as exercising is more beneficial, time use has to be realistic and balanced, he said. "People may advocate for more time exercising, though it's not feasible to have 10 hours of exercise and zero hours of sedentary behaviour," the researcher said. While the findings applied for able adults, he acknowledged that everyone has different considerations and advised that physical activity should be fun. Mumbai, Mar 30 () The Reserve Bank on Monday extended timings for daily reverse repo and marginal standing facility (MSF) window for a period of one month.After the revision, the operations can be conducted by participants throughout the day rather than the earlier focus on making the window open after the banking hours in the evening.The fixed-rate reverse repo operation - when a player parks excess funds with the RBI for overnight interest - will be available for accessing between 9 am and 2359 hrs in the evening between March 31 and April 30, the central bank said.Similarly, the MSF window will also be open for operation for the same timing, it said.Earlier, both the MSF and reverse repo windows used to operate between 1730 hrs to 2359 hrs.All other terms and conditions as applicable to liquidity adjustment facility reverse repo and MSF operations will remain the same, the apex bank said.Last Friday, while announcing the massive rate cuts, the RBI had worked towards disincentivising players from parking their money in such instruments and lend the same for productive purposes. RBI extends timings for reverse repo, MSF window for a month

Mumbai, Apr 30 () The RBI on Thursday permitted banks to file regulatory returns with a delay of up to 30 days from the due date as several entities face difficulties in timely submission in view of the disruptions on account of the coronavirus outbreak. The central bank has listed 18 regulatory returns which banks and All India Financial Institutions can submit with a delay of a maximum 30 days. These include 'payment of dividend', 'statement of shareholding (Restrictions on holding shares)', 'PSU investment statement' and 'return on large exposure'. "In order to mitigate the difficulties in timely submission of various regulatory returns, in view of disruptions on account of COVID-19 pandemic, it has been decided to extend the timelines for their submission," the Reserve Bank of India said in a circular. Accordingly, all regulatory returns required to be submitted by such entities to the Department of Regulation can be submitted with a delay of up to 30 days from the due date. "The extension will be applicable to regulatory returns required to be submitted upto June 30, 2020," it said. However, the entities that are in a position to submit the returns earlier may continue to do so. The circular also said that all communication to the Department of Regulation should be through corporate e-mail to the extent possible (i.e., without involving physical movement of papers). RBI further said "no extension" in timeline is permitted for submission of statutory returns like returns related to CRR/SLR. The RBI has also extended the revised window timings of 'Fixed Rate Reverse Repo and MSF operations' till further notice in view of the continuing disruptions caused by COVID-19. The revised timing is 09:00 hrs to 23:59 hrs as against the usual 17:30 hrs to 23:59 hrs. The timings were earlier revised from March 31 till April 30. NKD CS RVK

The Noida-based company launched the smartphone yesterday. Bookings started today morning at 0600 hrs. 
 
"Dear friends, we are very grateful for your enormous response and your kind patronage and would submit that as of now we received approx. Six Lacs hits per second as a result of your kind overwhelming response, servers are over loaded," <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Freedom251">Freedom251</a> said on its website. 
 
"We humbly submit that we are therefore taking a pause and upgrading the service and will revert within or before 24 hours," it added.

The 79-year-old industrialist will continue to serve as chairman of the <keyword id="133008" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Godrej-group">Godrej Group</keyword> and chairman emeritus of GIL, said the statement. "Nadir Godrej, who is currently managing director of GIL, will take over as chairman and managing director of the company," it added. GIL is a holding company of the Godrej Group. It has significant interests in consumer goods, real estate, agriculture, chemicals and financial services through its subsidiary and associate companies, across 18 countries. Adi Godrej has served GIL for almost four decades. Adi Godrej to step down as Godrej Industries' chairman and board of directors

Well, the good news is that the days are getting longer, but the bad news is, it is happening really slowly, almost 75,000th of a second per year. In a new study that was done by using a combination of <keyword id="6391802" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="astronomy">astronomy</keyword> and geochemical signature buried in ancient rocks, has shown that a day on earth approximately 1.4 billion years ago was about 18 hrs and 41 minutes long, which is 5 hours and 15 minutes less than the current day duration. This means that, on an average, the length of the day has increased approximately by 75,000th of a second per year since the earliest part of earth’s history. And, this trend is expected to continue for millions of years more. Speaking of cosmic events, another study has revealed that the moon moves 1.5 inches away from the earth each year. According to Stephen Meyers at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Alberto Malinverno at Columbia University in New York, the moon, over the past 1.4 billion years, has drifted about 340,000 km away from earth. This is due to the gradual slowing down of earth's rotation about its axis. These results came in after Meyers and Malinvern took on the task of reconstructing the <keyword id="3380340" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="milankovitch-cycles">Milankovitch cycles</keyword>. These cycles are basically the changes in the distance between earth and the moon, the shape of the earth’s orbit around the sun, plus variations or the ‘wobbles’. “We were interested in reconstructing the Milankovitch cycles because they provide a powerful tool for evaluating the history of our planet, and the solar system. They are like signposts on a trail, allowing us to navigate geological history. The identification of these cycles in ancient sediments has revolutionised our understanding of the nature of ice ages, the instability of ice sheets, and how Earth’s climate system works,” said Meyers to the <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/science/2018/jun/04/the-days-are-getting-longer-but-very-very-slowly">The Guardian</a>. And here’s an interesting point - the further the moon drifts off from earth, there will come a point when it will be visible by only one half of our planet and not the other.

The movie is fueled by the love-hate relationship between Nolte and Murphy's characters.Thinking back on the movie, Hill says the thing that stands out most was watching the evolution of Murphy from popular "Saturday Night Live" cast member to movie star, more or less overnight."I thought he was sensational and I thought it might work," Hill recently told <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/walter-hill-director-movies-career-2017-4/#how-the-tales-from-the-crypt-tv-show-finally-inspired-hill-to-make-the-assignment-1">Business Insider</a>, while promoting his new movie "The Assignment" (in theaters).Hill had watched footage of Murphy on "SNL" while thinking over casting for "48 Hrs.""I sent it up to the powers that be at the studio saying I would go with Eddie if they would go," he said.At first, Hill admits, he had a different actor in mind.A few years before Paramount pulled the trigger on the movie, Hill wrote a draft of the script and suggested that the studio should hire Richard Pryor to play the wise-cracking convict. But leading up to production, he only saw Murphy as a gifted comic who had never acted in a movie before, and that led to him giving his more polished actor Nolte a harsh direction."I came back from New York, I had met Eddie, he couldn't come to LA because he was so busy on the show, and I said to Nick, 'Look, he's a great talent but he's not a trained actor so Nick buddy this is the way it's going to be, it's going to be like working with a little kid or a dog - the one take that's good we're going to have to print it. So that means you have to be good every take,'" Hill told us with a laugh."Oh, that's not fair, Walt, goddammit," Nolte responded, according to Hill."And I said, 'I know you shouldn't have to but that's the way it's going to be,'" Hill said."He and Eddie got along great," the director added. "They loved each other. In fact, they would attack me on set every day complaining about the script, but it was fun."It turned out to work well for everyone. New Delhi, Mar 16 () Yes Bank customers will be able to access full banking services from Wednesday evening, as the moratorium will be lifted earlier. The RBI had on March 5 put a moratorium on Yes Bank restricting withdrawals to Rs 50,000 per depositor till April 3. However, the government in a notification on Saturday said the moratorium will be lifted by 18:00 hrs on March 18. "We will resume full banking services from Wed, Mar 18, 2020, 18:00 hrs. Visit any of our 1,132 branches from Mar 19, 2020, post commencement of banking hrs to experience our suite of services," Yes Bank said in a tweet. "You will also be able to access all our digital services &amp; platforms @RBI @FinMinIndia," it said. The government on Saturday notified the reconstruction plan for cash-strapped Yes Bank and said the moratorium will be lifted by 18:00 hrs on March 18, much earlier than the earlier date of April 3. "The order of moratorium on the reconstructed bank issued by the government...shall cease to have effect on the third working day at 18:00 hours from the date of commencement of this scheme," the notification said. The lender has posted a net loss of Rs 18,654 crore for third quarter ended December 31 due to huge provisioning for bad loans. It had posted a profit of Rs 1,001.8 crore during December quarter of 2018-19. "You will be able to use your YES BANK cards and accounts across wallets like Paytm, Amazon Pay and Freecharge among others from March 18, 2020, 18:00 hours," the bank said in an FAQ on its website. Besides, the customers have been allowed for inward RTGS/NEFT/IMPS based transaction services to pay for their Yes Bank credit card bills and loan EMIs from any bank accounts including Yes Bank accounts. "Outward NEFT/IMPS/RTGS will resume from March 18, 2020, 18:00 hours. The limits for transactions across digital channels will continue to remain what they were prior to the imposition of the moratorium. However, from March 19, 2020 post commencement of banking hours, transactions at branches will not have any limits," it said. Among others, customers will be able to pay towards their utility bills and use the UPI platform, Google Pay and PhonePe, Paytm, Amazon Pay, Freecharge. "You can withdraw your Yes Bank FDs (fixed deposits) and RDs (recurring deposits) after the moratorium is revoked from March 18, 2020, 18:00 hours. Standard charges will apply on the same. You will be also able to access all services available through digital channel/platforms (Net Banking/ Mobile Banking etc)," it added. Customers can also initiate "stop a payment" service, Yes Bank said. The other service that remains inactive now is cheque clearing because clearing activities are suspended as per the directive. Customers who use forex card can also not use such services. "Your cheques already issued will not be honoured till the clearing activities are restarted or further directive from regulator," it added. KPM KPM ANUANU
