Mumbai: Superstar <keyword id="1671" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="shah-rukh-khan" source="Orion">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword> on Tuesday teased his friend and filmmaker <keyword id="19973215" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="karan" source="keywords">Karan</keyword> Johar for hosting more chat shows and directing lesser films. <keyword id="19900227" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="shah-rukh" source="keywords">Shah Rukh</keyword> and Karan, who are set to host the International Indian Film Academy (<keyword id="22515764" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="iifa" source="keywords">IIFA</keyword>) Awards 2024, have worked together in several hit movies such as "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...", "My Name is Khan", and "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna". At the press conference of the IIFA Awards, Shah Rukh pulled Karan's leg for being less active on the directorial front. "He hosts chat shows, film shows. He also credited Padukone, who has become the face of mental health awareness in India, for her Live Love Laugh Foundation which helps people suffering from anxiety, depression and other mental disorders. The filmmaker said he is better now and advised people going through similar mental health issues to seek therapy. "There are professionals who can guide you where sometimes your loved ones can't, not because they are not capable or don't want to, sometimes they are not in that educated zone to tell you what to do. For that, the only thing I tell people is acknowledge it first, acknowledge it to yourself and make sure your family members are aware, and then take the step that you have to." Mumbai, May 25 () Filmmaker Karan Johar on Monday said two members of his household staff have tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently under quarantine. In a statement, Johar said that the building has been sterilised after Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) was informed about the same. "I'd like to inform you that two members of our household staff have tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building. The BMC was informed immediately, and the building has been fumigated and sterilised by them as per the norms," he said. The filmmaker said the family members and other staff are currently not showing any symptoms but have taken swab test, the result of which was negative. "But will remain in self-isolation for the next 14 days for the safety of everyone around us. We stand by our commitment to safeguard everyone and have ensured that all measures prescribed by the authorities have been strictly adhered to. "We will also ensure that the best treatment and care is provided to them during the illness, and we're sure that they will be fighting fit soon. These are difficult times but by staying in our homes and taking the right precautions, there is no doubt in my mind that we can defeat this virus. Stay home everyone and stay safe," he added.
