Lucknow, An FIR has been lodged here against the makers of web series 'Tandav' and <keyword id="18635" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amazon">Amazon</keyword>'s India head of original content for allegedly depicting Hindu gods in a manner hurtful to <keyword id="522164" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="religious-sentiments">religious sentiments</keyword> of the people. The FIR against Aparna Purohit, the head of Amazon's India head of original content, director of the series Ali Abbas, producer Himanshu Krishna Mehra, writer Gaurav Solanki, and an unknown person was lodged late on Sunday night by senior Sub Inspector Amar Nath Yadav at the Hazratganj Kotwali police station here. The film starring <keyword id="333" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Saif-Ali-Khan">Saif Ali Khan</keyword>, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia, <keyword id="5894" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dino-Morea">Dino Morea</keyword>, Kumud Mishra, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, <keyword id="327" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Gauhar-Khan">Gauhar Khan</keyword> and <keyword id="140105" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kritika-Kamra">Kritika Kamra</keyword>, premiered on the streaming platform on Friday. Taking to Twitter, BSP President Mayawati called for removing the objectionable content from the web series. Protests are being registered against some scenes hurting the religious and ethnic sentiments in the Tandav web series, in respect of which it would be appropriate to remove whatever is objectionable so that the atmosphere of peace, harmony and mutual brotherhood in the country is not spoiled anywhere, she said. According to the FIR, following public outrage expressed on social media platforms, the web series was viewed and it was found in the 17th minute of the first episode of the series that Hindu gods and goddesses have been allegedly presented in an "undignified manner' and shown using language which is hurtful to religious sentiments. Dialogues in the web series can incite caste anger, the FIR stated. It also alleged that the person occupying the high post of Prime Minister of India has been portrayed in a very belittling manner besides there are scenes in which castes have been presented as low and high and women in an insulting manner. The FIR further alleged that intent of the web series is to incite religious sentiments of a particular community and create enmity among classes.This act of the producer-director has hurt and incited religious and caste sentiments of the people, the FIR added. The FIR has been lodged under sections 153 A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language), 295 (injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class), 505 (1) (B) (statements conducing to public mischief with intent to cause, or which is likely to cause, fear or alarm to the public, or to any section of the public whereby any person may be induced to commit an offence against the State or against the public tranquility) and 469 (forgery for purpose of harming reputation) along with sections of the IT Act. Taking cognizance of complaints that Hindu gods and goddesses have been ridiculed in the web series, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting had on Sunday sought an explanation from <keyword id="10265015" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="streaming-platform-amazon-prime-video">streaming platform Amazon Prime Video</keyword> on the issue, sources had said. The development came after BJP MP Manoj Kotak on Sunday said he has written to Information and Broadcasting Minister <keyword id="119642" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Prakash-Javadekar">Prakash Javadekar</keyword> seeking a ban on Amazon Prime Video's series 'Tandav' for ridiculing Hindu deities. "The ministry has taken cognizance of the matter (complaints) and asked Amazon Prime Video to explain," a source in the ministry had said. Kotak, the MP from Mumbai North-East, said different organisations and individuals have complained that Hindu gods and goddesses have been ridiculed in the 'Tandav' web series. When contacted about the complaints, Amazon Prime Video PR had said the platform "won't be responding" on the matter. The government recently brought OTT platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar, besides other online news and current affairs content, under the ambit of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, giving it powers to regulate policies and rules for the digital space. Tandav controversy - FIR filed against the show's director and Amazon India head of content in UP

In the last few months, we’ve seen interesting movie promotions on social media. The latest to join the league is the Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif starrer <keyword id="1054297" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bang-Bang">Bang Bang</keyword>. You must have seen this duo pulling off various stunts in the trailers. 
 
Now, Hrithik Roshan is doing some stunt on Twitter. He is indulging in some #BangBangDare for his friends. First, he first himself accepted the challenge from Nargis Fakhri and when on a diet sans sugar and coffee for eight days. 
 
Later, he challenged his Dhoom co-star <keyword id="36115" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="uday-chopra">Uday Chopra</keyword> to do 100 body weight pull ups in 5 sets.

Q) Where do you see your next set of subscribers coming from? How many do you aim to add to your kitty by the end of this year? India has become more digital-savvy with more and more people coming on the internet. According to a market research firm techARC, India had 502.2 million smartphone users as of December 2019. The time spent on phones has substantially increased especially during this phase. According to KPMG’s recent report titled ‘COVID-19: The many shades of a crisis’, the penetration of subscription-based digital models is set to accelerate. From a content segmentation and a subscription acquisition point of view, one needs to start looking at these newer people to acquire. What works for us is to concentrate on consumer segmentation behaviour, understanding how to retain the customers better and working on onboarding the new segment who have just been acquainted with the internet. Q) What are your revenue goals for this fiscal? Given the national lockdown, all content production has come to a standstill, we continue to monitor the situation closely. We are very confident that the demand for content will increase once the situation returns to normal and are well prepared to resume business and ramp up content sales once the lockdown is over. ALTBalaji has been working towards its goals and is the first OTT platform already on the road to profitability. With our costs getting controlled in the first half of fiscal 2020 and the loss margin further reducing at the end of the current fiscal, we are aiming to break even in 2020-2021. Q) What do you believe is ALTBalaji’s strength in the market? Our mindset towards reading the market early on and taking action at the earliest has helped us stay ahead of the industry curve. This can probably only happen when the organization is tight, sharp and quick to react. Last Saturday, the young musician launched her debut international single ‘Livin’ the life’ in a glitzy event in Mumbai which was attended by <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=hrithik+roshan&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Hrithik Roshan</a>, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea and Sohail Khan. A mix of EDM and pop, the track has been mixed by Dutch DJ <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=afrojack&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Afrojack</a> and composed and written by Ananya and American producer Jim Beanz. The duo then recorded the track at a studio in Philadelphia. 
 
The single was a result of a one-year long collaboration between her and Beanz, who has previously worked with international popstars Demi Lovato, Nelly Furtado to name a few. 
 
“Livin’ the Life’ is all about celebrating life and spreading love and kindness in the world. By coming out of adversity, one can start to see beauty, and that’s how the song came about,” she states when asked about the inspiration for her debut single. 
 
Many would call this shift of hers from a successful entrepreneur to the newest musician on the block unforeseen, but as it turns out, it was always on the cards. 
 
 
 
 
Ananya’s tryst with music began early. She played the santoor and guitar while growing up and counts The Fray, Ed Sheeran and Cheryl Cole as her inspiration. 
 
However, it was only during her time at University of Oxford, did the musician inside her breathe life. Singing and playing the guitar at live gigs became a regular occurrence so much so that in two years, she had performed at over 70 gigs and in essence, found her calling. 
 
She now writes lyrics, composes music and has plans to launch a soul and R&amp;B album soon. Infact, she has already started writing her next track. It goes without saying that music consumes her. 
 
When you ask Ananya, what music means to her, pat comes the reply. “To me, music is about life in totality and love in its purest form. It’s about capturing and expressing your emotions and celebrating everything about life.” 
 
Ananya is quite clear about one thing- her future as a musician doesn’t necessary have to intertwine with Bollywood. Instead, her priority is to give people access to music platforms through her organisation, One.

To promote his upcoming action flick <keyword id="1054297" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bang-Bang">Bang Bang</keyword>, popular <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> actor <keyword id="6354563" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Hrithik-Roshan">Hrithik Roshan</keyword> has started a new trend on Twitter. He has been challenging various Bollywood celebrities, some of whom are his closest friends, to do various dares. 
 While all of these celebrities have responded in a positive manner and posted videos doing those dares, <keyword id="106133" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ranveer-Singh">Ranveer Singh</keyword> surely took the cake. 
 
Apparently, Hrithik’s dare to Ranveer went like this. 
 
To <a href="https://twitter.com/RanveerOfficial">@RanveerOfficial</a> my #bangbangdare get out of ur car n pose on d middle of any Main Street of mumbai fr your fans! Hahaha,bolo..accept?? 
 
For a celebrity of this stature, getting out on a crowded street is surely a dare. However, Ranveer, who is known for his witty sense of humour, took the dare to an altogether different level. He dressed up like Krrish, the popular superhero character donned by Hrithik in two movies, viz Krrish and Krrish 3. Dressed in his Krrish costume, wearing a mask over his face, Ranveer danced on the Main Aisa Kyun Hoon song from the movie Lakshya, in the street. After apologising to the traffic police for the nuisance he had created, Singh took off the mask and ran to his car, leaving behind a bemused public. 
 
After his impromptu jig, Ranveer tweeted the video through a newly made YouTube channel, saying

To which Hrithik tweeted
