<ul><li>The company said that the total payout of the interim dividend is ₹10.86 crore.</li><li><keyword id="5030468" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="easemytrip" source="Orion">EaseMyTrip</keyword> has announced its first dividend in April 2021 almost a month after its listing.</li><li> The company reported over 330% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit in Q2 of 2021.</li></ul>Travel ticketing platform Easy Trip Planner — which goes by the name EaseMyTrip — has declared an interim dividend of 50% or ₹1 per equity share of the face value of ₹2 for the fiscal year 2022 that ends in March next year. The company said that the total payout of the interim dividend is ₹10.86 crore. The said dividend on equity shares will be credited to the members as per the records of the depositories as beneficial owners of the equity shares, as on November 22. The interim dividend will be paid on or before December 10, 2021. EaseMyTrip has announced its first dividend in April 2021 almost a month after its listing on the stock exchange. The latest development comes soon after EaseMyTrip announced its financial result for July to September quarter of 2021. The company reported over 330% year-on-year increase in its consolidated net profit. The gross booking revenue (GBR) stood at ₹895.1 crore in the June to September quarter. “EaseMyTrip has a uniquely sustainable and profitable model and our results have consistently demonstrated this all the time. Even in this fiscal, we witnessed phenomenal growth across all segments in the H1FY22 [first half of financial year 2022]. It also reflects a strong recovery of India's travel sector, which was severely impacted by the pandemic,” Nishant Pitti, chief executive and cofounder of EaseMyTrip, said. The company offers access to more than 400 international and domestic airlines, over one million hotels as well as train/bus tickets and taxi rentals across India. EaseMyTrip was founded in 2008 and claims to have more than 11 million customers. It also has offices across India and international markets like Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the UAE, the UK, and the USA. These are the stocks to watch out for during the trading session on October 6: SBI The headhunter for state-owned banks and financial institutions, the Banks Board Bureau (BBB) recommended the names of Swaminathan Janakiraman and Ashwini Kumar Tewari for the posts of managing director at State Bank of India. The country’s largest lender bank is headed by a chairman with four managing directors to assist. Also, the current SBI chairman’s tenure ends on October 7. HDFC and HDFC Bank The Housing finance major HDFC, in its second-quarter update ending September 30, said that its individual loan disbursements reached 95% of the level in the year-ago period, and September saw the strongest recovery since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, suggesting business is returning to pre-crisis levels. The individual loan business has continued to see a month-on-month improvement in July-September 2020, the company said in its regulatory filing. The HDFC Bank advances as of September 30 rose 16% YoY to ₹10.4 lakh crore, and the deposits increased 20% to ₹12.3 lakh crore. The shares of HDFC Ltd ended 0.46% lower yesterday, whereas HDFC Bank ended 0.50% higher. Tata Motors Tata Motors-owned subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported a 12% dip in sales in the second quarter ended September 30. However, the sales improved by nearly 50% during the July-September quarter as against 74,067 units in the April-June period of the current fiscal, the company said in a statement. The shares of Tata Motors ended 0.52% higher yesterday. Britannia Industries Bakery and dairy products major Britannia Industries said its board has approved issuing bonus debentures and payment of dividend to reward its shareholders in such difficult and unprecedented times due to the coronavirus pandemic. The board approved 1 bonus debenture for 1 share held, and payment of ₹12.5/share as dividend. The shares of Britannia Industries ended 0.56% higher yesterday. Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals The wholly-owned arm of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals, Smartchem Tech, raised ₹105 crore via debentures from international finance corporation. A debenture is a loan that is issued to corporates based on their reputation at a fixed rate of interest. The shares of Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals ended 2.3% lower yesterday. Future Consumer Future Capital Investment, the promoter of Future Consumer, invoked pledge of 18 lakh shares from September 14-16. The shares of Future Consumer ended 4% lower on Monday. Infibeam Avenues and RIL The digital payments, e-commerce software company Infibeam Avenues has entered into a definitive agreement with Jio Platforms and its affiliates. The shares of Infibeam Avenues were locked in 5% upper circuit on Monday. Escorts The automaker Escorts has completed the acquisition of 2 crore equity shares of KAI from KBT, constituting 40% of the share capital of KAI for an aggregate value of ₹90 crore. The shares of Escorts ended 3.32% higher on Monday. Majesco The board of Majesco will consider a proposal for buyback of fully paid-up equity shares on October 8. Top stocks to watch—SBI, HDFC Bank, Tata Motors, RIL, Infibeam, Britannia, Future Consumer and others

<ul><li>Shares of fast moving consumer goods company fell 5% after the company reported lower than expected volume growth along with cautious commentary.</li><li>The company reported 9% year-on-year growth in net profit to ₹2,187 crore as against ₹2,009 crore in the same quarter last year.</li><li>Further, the company said they remain cautiously optimistic about demand recovery.</li></ul>Shares of consumer goods company <keyword id="6365619" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="hindustan-unilever" source="Orion">Hindustan Unilever</keyword> (HUL) fell as much as 5% on Tuesday after the company reported its September quarter earnings. Although the company reported 9% year-on-year growth in net profit to ₹2,187 crore as against ₹2,009 crore in the same quarter last year, investors were disappointed on lower than expected volume growth. The company delivered 4% year-on-year volume growth in the July-September quarter lower than estimates of 5-7%. Food segment that includes products like Horlicks, Kissan, Bru, Kwality Wall’s saw a slowdown in revenue growth. Food segment grew only 7% in the September quarter as against 12% in the June quarter. Hindustan Unilever attributed the dull growth in the food segment to reasonably high sales in the previous quarters. <div type="image" title="HUL cchart" height="900" width="1200" msid="87136921" hostid="261"></div> The company has declared a dividend of ₹15 per share in this quarter. Adding to it, the company gave a cautious remark on the demand recovery. “Looking forward, we remain cautiously optimistic about demand recovery,” said Sanjiv Mehta, chairman and managing director of HUL. Meanwhile, muted consumer sentiment with rising inflation bothered the (fast moving consumer goods) FMCG major. “September quarter witnessed a sequential improvement in trading conditions, albeit remained challenging with unprecedented levels of input cost inflation and subdued consumer sentiments,” added Mehta in a statement to stock exchanges.
