However what you don’t know yet is Dhoni’s job with a cement company in India. Yes! Back in 2012, Dhoni was employed with The India Cements Ltd. (ICL) as the Vice-President of the company. That was a small piece of news then. This cement company is owned by N Srinivasan, the former president of BCCI.

However this became a big headline when Lalit Modi, the former IPL who was ousted from the game on charges of corruption, shared the offer letter of MS Dhoni’s appointment at The India Cements Ltd on social media yesterday.

Guess how much the Rs 100 crore worth player would earn being the Vice President of the cement company?

Well, Dhoni’s basic pay was Rs 43,000 per month, apart from the fixed dearness allowance of Rs.21, 970 per month, special pay of Rs 20,000 on a monthly basis and special allowance of Rs 60,000 per month.

Besides, he would also receive Rs.175 towards newspapers and education expenses every month apart from Rs.4, 500 for entertainment expenses. The offer letter mentions, Dhoni will also be reimbursed for electricity, water and cooking gas charges till the time he is posted in Chennai where the company’s headquarter is located.
