Set years after the events in "Uncharted 3," your character Nathan Drake is now retired as a fortune hunter.
He's now married to Elena Fisher, a journalist who's been Drake's love interest since the first "Uncharted" game.
Drake's life finally seems to have calmed down.
...That is, until Drake's older brother Sam comes into the picture.
Once believed dead, Sam shows up at Drake's doorstep asking for help.
As you'll learn in "Uncharted 4," Nathan and his older brother Sam have been fortune hunters since they were kids.
The plot of "Uncharted 4" revolves around Nathan and Sam seeking out long lost treasure owned by a legendary pirate from the 1600s.
Thanks to Sam, Drake gets back into his old treasure-hunting ways, exploring caves...
Vast deserts and savannahs...
Besides Sam, Nathan is also accompanied by his longtime mentor and fellow treasure hunter Victor Sullivan, a.k.a. "Sully."
That's Sully. The wily veteran has been in every "Uncharted" game.
There are lots of new characters to encounter. But don't be fooled by their nice attire, these guys are after the same treasure you are.

Nathan's really getting his butt handed to him here.
Getting pommeled by this woman is a running theme.
But there's also other, darker enemies you'll face during your travels.

There's a ton of mysteries to explore in "Uncharted 4."
The characters and story are important, but in my opinion, "Uncharted 4" is one of the most visually stunning games I've ever played.
Character models look extremely realistic, even in motion.
Naughty Dog is one of the best when it comes to intimate storytelling and attention to detail.
Even the hand models look extraordinary.
All the environments look quite stunning. At several points in the game you'll be treated to grand vistas, where it's easy to capture a screenshot.
Naughty Dog says "Uncharted 4" is the biggest and most ambitious "Uncharted" game yet — and that's saying something, considering the scale of previous games.
When you add realistic-looking characters to the gorgeous environments, it really makes "Uncharted 4" feel like a Hollywood movie.
It's a rare game where you'll continually stop what you're doing just to look around.
You can fully explore "Uncharted 4" when it finally launches on the PlayStation 4 on May 10.
