Search giant Google has silently launched the Pixel 8a smartphone in India without any fanfare, introducing the successor of its Pixel 7a smartphone. This comes a week before the Google I/O event, which is scheduled for May 14. The Pixel 8a smartphone retains the same design as its predecessor but comes in two new colour options, Aloe and Bae, in addition to Obsidian and Porcelain. Google has also upgraded the display to finally offer a 120Hz refresh rate, after offering a 90Hz display with its Pixel 7a smartphone.
