Indian ecommerce undergoing an experimental phase is exploring new vistas to appeal to the floating clientele. No exception to this, major player Snapdeal has found new ways to enhance its customer experience. To ensure its consumer loyalty in the cut throat ecommerce market in India, Snapdeal has appointed Jayant Sood as the chief customer experience officer (CCO).

As reported by The Economic Times, Sood will be responsible for the customer service operations at Snapdeal.

For 20 years Sood worked with American Express after, which he worked with Bharti Airtel Ltd as the chief service officer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi and Chartered Accountancy certificate from "The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India".

Speaking about his appointment, Sood told the ET, "Snapdeal has seen unprecedented growth in the last three years and is undoubtedly the fastest growing e-commerce company in the country. We are on the road to build world class customer service operations at Snapdeal that will lay the foundation for best in class customer experience."
