Same face, same marks, same college, same course: Twins who have made it to IIT-K have a LOT IN COMMON

You may have heard twins share similar habits and behaviour in their daily lives, but have you ever heard twin brothers scoring the same marks and getting into the same IIT college in the same course?

Call it coincidence, but twin brothers Aman Tiwari and Ankush Tiwari have a lot in common, so much so that it's kind of disturbing for others.

Both scored almost the same marks in their class 12 board examinations. While Aman secured 92.8 per cent, Ankush was slightly behind him with 92.4 per cent. Both the boys have cleared the JEE advanced examination in one go this year, and both have enrolled for the same course - bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering program - in the same college, IIT Kanpur. Both want to become IAS officers after pursuing the course.

Hailing from a small district of Gorakhpur in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, this comes as a huge feat for the brothers and their family. Their proud father Ajay Kumar Tiwari, who is Chief Food Safety Officer posted in Maharajganj district of UP, cannot help but jump with joy. He says both his boys have been bright students from the very beginning.

However, there's one trouble the Tiwari brothers are giving to the IIT-K administration. Their similarities have left several in the campus in a fix because many are finding it difficult to identify one from the other.

Reports suggest the staff were left confused during the admission procedure and are now worried about how Professors and students will differentiate Ankush from Aman during classes and in the hostel.
