Sakshi Releases The Poster Of Dhoni’s Biopic

Sakshi Singh Dhoni, wife of Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, unofficially released the first poster of the biopic made on Dhoni’s life on twitter.

Titled “M.S Dhoni - The Untold Story”, the movie is being directed by Neeraj Pandey of “A Wednesday” fame and has Sushant Singh Rajpoot in the lead. The poster of this movie, which will be released next year, shows Rajpoot carrying a bat over his shoulder and wearing Indian captain’s lucky ‘no. 7’ jersey.

The movie is a venture of Inspired Entertainment, a unit of Rhiti Sports in which Dhoni owns a reported 15% stake.

Sakshi Dhoni tweeted “Clearing out all those rumours being carried out past few days.It was all false.. Here you go ....BOOM !!!”

Apparently, the rumours the lady is talking about are the ones that suggest Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) was apprehensive about the film. BCCI has confirmed that these rumours were baseless and they had no issues with the movie as long as the film doesn’t affect the cricketer’s professional work.

Off lately, Bollywood is showing a lot of affinity towards Indian sports. The recent success of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom has proved that such movies are going to work in the near future as well.
