Annoyance over low pay, disappearing perks and uncertain future has forced Indian techies to vent their anger on social media, while earlier, the platforms were used to talks about break-ups, crushes and troubles with managers.
This year, several IT companies have rolled out single digit salary increases while also resorting to layoffs to save money in terms of employee salaries.

Other issues being discussed are lack of tissue papers, shuttered in-campus laundromats as well as restrictions on timings of coffee machines.
"Everyone is worried. There is so much talk about layoffs because of automation and needing to pay for US hiring. There is a new rumour every day," a mid-level employee with TCS told ET.

IT employees are frequently losing jobs in India. In the recent past, Cognizant has fired more than 6,000 employees and announced voluntary separation plans for its senior employees.
